When women entered the workplace, relative wages diminished. Why? We have twice as many people working, shouldn't productivity double? No the government just made it illegal not to hire women. So they get shoved into positions to hit gender quotas. Secretaries, HR, etc... Many of the positions are even a net drag on the company.

It looks like I was wrong. I'm quite surprised dividends add up to so much when you get so little from them in the short term. But it's still good to remember these facts: He would have had to invest nearly 100% of his inheritance and never touched it. It's easier to invest than to grow your own business. (Plus long term holders can pay 0% taxes) Comparing to the S&P is comparing the BEST companies in the world. So if Trump competed with them (while paying taxes) he did a pretty good job.

maybe there is selection bias in that thread but still it's pretty telling. most of them won't directly say what their number is, but the ones that do frequently range from 10 - 40, and one as high as 300.
