Wasting time with video games

Don't say that king, you are aging like fine wine and one day a woman will be honored to use you for her oviposition 💖
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 12:58 AM

I would but blood makes me squeamish, sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 12:52 AM

That's the body type of the guy I'm dating right now. I personally like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 09:42 PM

Plenty of women are not dating terrible men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 09:33 PM

It's not fun. You go spend a day sitting in a lounge, you probably won't get picked for an interview, you'll learn nothing about the case, after sitting there for several hours you get sent home. It's like being in the waiting room at a doctor all day with no actual appointment
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 08:57 PM

I just started playing Elden Ring so I can talk about it with the guy I like, and good god I suck at it. I've never played a Souls game or anything similar before...I legitimately can't decide if it's fun or if I hate it. It feels like both at once
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 08:18 PM

Which is silly, because refusing to date someone is perfectly normal. The men who just politely sat there don't deserve to be ragged on.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 07:58 PM

The guy in the Utah shirt laughing about it deserves to be called out, imo. I don't know why he found it appropriate to react that way. It's one thing to not want to date a person, but laughing about their public rejection is just plain mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 07:52 PM

And that's fine. It's far better to be alone than to be with someone who doesn't share my values/beliefs. Any man who expects a woman to put out within 3 dates is a man who lacks the character and conviction I desire in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 05:14 PM

Okay, so take my case which I posted about in response to another comment - I went to a reasonable state school ($20k/year), I got some scholarships, I got a degree that was in demand, I landed a nice job that would have easily paid off my student loans after a few years. Approximately 3 years after getting my job, I got very sick/disabled, was unable to perform my work anymore, and have since had to navigate paying off my debt with little to no income (student loan forgiveness for disability is…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 04:17 PM

Apologies, I'm autistic and tend to take things at face value. I'm not good at connecting the dots behind words, I am often overly-focused on the specific term used itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 03:39 PM

I'm not really sure why virginity would be a useful indicator here. I lost my virginity as a child (sexual abuse), but that has no bearing on how attracted I am to men in the present.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 03:26 PM

What would be a logical and acceptable amount of debt for a degree?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 03:24 PM

I do. Semi-rural area, Bible belt, so at the very least a lot of people express similar beliefs.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 02:51 PM

As a religious/conservative person, another religious/conservative person would presumably be aligned with my values (and I'd be perfectly fine waiting until marriage. I honestly believe it's the preferable timing - but I also know it's unlikely to be maintained when two people deeply care for one another. It's a good goalpost, but one that is incredibly difficult to uphold.) But ultimately, I will say that ending up alone is far, far better than ending up with someone who doesn't share my value…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 02:18 PM

When you're unattractive and poor, the goodwill you spread becomes your currency. You learn how to foster those connections quickly, and it serves you very well throughout the years. Sometimes even better than looks or money could.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 01:34 PM

"Bad" in what way? I don't really lose out on anything. I either find someone who's willing to wait, or I don't. And if I don't, then life is business as usual.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 01:24 PM

No one owes anyone anything. I apologize for implying otherwise! I must have communicated something in a way I didn't intend to, my bad :)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 01:22 PM

It would be a lovely, just world if it was all poor decision making, wouldn't it? How nice and simple that would be. In my case, I did everything "right" - great degree, great job - but I became sick and disabled, had to quit that job, and now thanks to my body, my degree is useless. I'm incredibly frugal, and I'm a very smart budgeter with high financial literacy, but men are still quick to pin problems on personal failings over circumstances. It's quite frustrating, but not something I'll ever…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 01:04 PM

At that point couldn't you just do an income-driven repayment plan? Paying 10%-15% (or sometimes less) of your income is fairly manageable for most people. Or is that idea still alarming to men?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 12:45 PM

We do care. How much we care is what varies. For me and women like me (fairly conservative/traditional) a man's body count could be a sign of misaligned values, possibly a lack of character on the man's part, etc. Most of my friends have the same feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 12:40 PM

That's why I adamantly refuse to have sex prior to months of consistent and progressive commitment. It's just not worth the risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 12:34 PM

I hope not for their sake because I'm ugly af

Do people just go around sharing information like this "Btw I fucked your nail tech" "btw I fucked the DJ we're hiring for our wedding" I'm sorry but that sounds absolutely deranged
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 09:38 PM

That looks like it would be really itchy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 04:14 PM

I am entirely neutral about any and all facial hair and rarely give it any thought whatsoever. It's not hot. It's also not un-hot. It just exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 03:28 PM

(I was making a joke about one guy in a gooner basement having the equivalent output of entire modern animation studios)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 03:17 PM

It's crazy how productive that dude is
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 03:09 PM

I don't know what that means but hugs are nice
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 03:06 PM

Stop policing my tone 😡🤬
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 02:59 PM

No if someone finds out you have preferences then you go to prison and serve three life sentences with no chance for parole, better LAWYER THE FUCK UP buddy boy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 02:54 PM

Have you heard there's a rumor in St. Petersburg? Have you heard what they're saying in the street? Hey! Hey! Hey!

/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 02:12 PM

Sex in general is just pretty gross
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 02:05 PM

Second date plan: lunch, arcade, walking around my property picking tomatoes (for him to take home), making out I'm excited
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 01:58 PM

"How are you able to do two different things?"
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 01:48 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 10:05 AM

Idk bro, why does anyone do anything hypocritical
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 02:48 PM

I don't need to remember anything. My brain is a vacuous black hole
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 02:26 PM

Okay. But wouldn't that still qualify as a man being rejected by the average woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 02:24 PM

How would that work in reality? Once a woman accepts your approach and establishes a connection with you, you would like her to continue accepting approaches from 50% of other men as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 02:17 PM

What would be a preferable/ideal rejection rate?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 01:52 PM

That percentage is kind of meaningless without knowing how many men are approaching the average woman. Is it three? Fifty? Seventy-five thousand?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 01:26 PM

I only read the first four words of your comment but I'm sorry about whatever made you mad
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 01:16 PM

But I quoted Yeats :( The anti-literacy and anti-intellectualism of this place is truly tragic sometimes
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 01:14 PM

Believe what you want but one day she'll be gone and this place will collapse in on itself like a dying star "Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the center cannot hold"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 01:12 PM

If more commenters here would act like decent human beings it would probably encourage people to stick around but I know that's basically impossible
