definitely agree. joining FDS has woken me up to how much women in my country deserve SO MUCH MORE rather than rush into getting married by a certain age to fit the societal ideals...also definitely hurts seeing loved ones with dusties...

ive just had such.....an odd convo with another female trainee. tl dr: she advised me to censor myself, be less emotional and be quieter to get ahead in our society esp in our field of social work. something about that just feels so......backward?

Am i weird for feeling weird about fb group posts that talk about womens body parts, rating them and having group topics that are waaaaay too intrusive. Almost feel like we girls shouldnt be giving away such info esp to random guys in s fb group. I don't mean that i want to censor or judge women but i wonder if such info should only be given to ppl who earn the access to that info

Am i a narcissist for not wanting to be involved in my cousins engagement bc shes being manipulated into it by his dusty toxic ass and family? Also their relationship has affected her relationship with all her family members, myself included and now she wants to play pretend that all is fine and dandy and that we should help her (its also all very last minute). My mum has called me childish but i dont see why i should spend my time and energy especially when i already have gotten involved and bu…

sigh the sad part is it could very easily have been "I like to please my boo " instead of that I don't understand their brains...

Oh okay. Tbh the initial conversation was a friendly convo I genuinely wasnt thinking of him as a potential to date. It happened because i was having a bad mental week and wanted to speak to someone. I shoudlve been more careful i see that now

Wow i never thought of it like that. So then how can I communicate like what i would like or would not like? Like for eg if i dont want to be intimate or that drinking would not be an activity for me? Is there a better way to state these

Can i just say, I accidentally stumbled across this sub bc i was researching sch of affluence and feeling bad abt myself bc i was chic enough or whatever enough to land a rich banker or wtv. And can i just say this sub has been amazing and great for showing me that my gut was never wrong. All those things i knew were flags and all my doubts are for good reason. You guys helped me to understand it all. Dating is not allowed in my culture so this is so helpful beyond words. Thank to you all

Apparently I learnt recently that my religion actually teaches women to divorce when their husband isnt fulfilling his duties (in all aspects) and even encourage to marry again! Cultural shaming in society still exists sadly
