I just skimmed the FAQ (I'll read over it a bit more later), but I can't find any sources to back up the idea that most feminists don't support equality. Do you have any sources for that?

I don't know. If I were to start a large scale campaign to "teach men to shave properly," I would have to be starting from the assumption that a huge amount of men do not shave properly. Also, since we as a society need to hold rapists responsible (which is something I totally agree with), then the language needs to reflect that as well. If the language wasn't meant to imply that all men are rapists and need to be taught not to rape, but a lot of people took it as such because it literally says "teach men not to rape," then the language itself is at fault, not the people who read it. I hold feminism as a core tenet in my life, and I understand and agree with the idea behind the language, but the rhetoric is alienating.
