This is completely a problem within his own mind. Simply leaving her will not help his next case. Leaving her to deal with his own inner demons and reconstruct his sense of self worth is likely the path he should be taking, talking from experience here. I left a good thing not because I wanted to, but deep down I knew I needed to completely reevaluate my inner values and focus.

This is a refreshing post. Usually I lurk here every once in a while and I often find inexperienced teenagers asking for shortcuts to shallow pursuits. But, this right here, is a real concern. It seems that you did everything well, but an old psychological wound (a literal scar haha) resurfaced and caught you off guard. I agree with 6nick9, the only way I have found peace for my father’s sins was to accept them through forgiveness. We are all born with the capacity for evil. He did things that m…

Yup, if you have any sense of morals, it will always come back to haunt you. Just live and learn. As time passes, the guilt will subside. Apologize if you care for the person and move with your life with this lesson in mind. If you like having multiple women, don't become exclusive.

Lol, it really can depending on the social environment you are in. In a high SMV place, most people got their hair game on lock. I remember I just started this job at a restaurant where hats weren't allowed, so I had to rock my awkward stage undercut without figuring out how to style it yet and got treated differently. I grew it out some more, went to a high end barber, and learned how to use the right products/technique. Went to work the following week and suddenly all the girls are talking me …

School and the physical exercise doesn't have to be strictly no fun, straight to business and clock out day in/day out. Talk to your fellow students, crack jokes in class, speak to the teachers, talk to the people in the gym, and spend at least one day a week with family/friends.

If you choose to dance, choose a dance that is built around music you actually enjoy listening too. If you are into funk, jazz, and hip-hop, I would recommend b-boying. (breakdancing) I have learned so much about myself and the world around me through this art. The acrobatic movement I can do is pretty awe inspiring, but the real essence of the dance comes from the confidence and character you can display through the music.

25 here. Killing it socially and academically. Some tips: Obvious one, school first. Time management, slowly adding onto your work load as you get accustomed to the grind, since you're older you're gonna have to balance a part time job and school. Look for a busing job that tips out well on a thursday-sunday shift for about 20-24 hours a weekend. You won't have too much time to be fishing for chicks. Talk to them to practice your game and to practice your social skills. If you're feeling one, …

Its all a matter of perspective. Appreciate the privilege of being surrounded by more talented folks because if you apply yourself and take notes, you will be trending upwards. If you are top dawg in your practice, then there won’t be anyone around to test your limits and sharpen your knives.

By becoming awesome and truly believing in it. For me, I started dancing at an early age (bboying aka breakdancing) and it has always been my main source of confidence. I'm pretty witty and funny, can easily carry conversations on wide ranges of topic. I got there because I never knew when to stfu in grade school, I feel like I've always been inherently chatty. You can build this skill up and it is often easier to speak about things you are generally interested in. I have a mission. I'm going to…

Gotta slog through the mud. Sometimes you find yourself on a nice patch of grass for once and it feels really good. Enjoy it, but be weary there will be deeper trenches of mud ahead. The effects of traumatic events never fully disappears, they hurt less over time and can be transformed into motivation by being mindful. One of the beginner mistakes of self improvement is that we become too goal oriented. "I gotta be this and accomplish this in X amount of time." We often over estimate our abili…

It is a state of being. Something you CAN control by letting go of shit. Letting go of your oneitis, letting go of what people say about you, letting go of social expectations, and letting go of material things. It is the art of being here in the NOW and appreciating things like the breeze blowing through your hair, the goofy smile on a big ass dog running down the street, the sweetness of the milk from your cereal, ect... not a worry about what was in the past or what is in store for the future…

People getting inner peace mixed up with happiness all the time nowadays. Happiness comes and go, it is just like any other feeling. The chemicals in your body could be off for the day and it'll fuck up your mood. People equate happiness to acquiring things like a career, this chick or that dude, money, ect... but peace is about LETTING GO.

Yup. People here get too caught up in the women hating but a lot of these principles apply to people in general. We're two sides of the same coin.

I could post a much more flattering picture with 1/10 of the physical features you have. Presentation is key... and you just presented filet mignon in a chicken nugget box. The setting in the bathroom with the towel hanging is bad. The insecure expression and overly flexing. You gotta flex without looking like you're flexing. You don't look very happy either.

Short memory. Think of that commercial where Kobe doesn't remember a bad play in his life haha, Nobody cares given enough time... and trust me it doesn't take that much time.

Remember not to take this shit too seriously. It doesn't mean to cop that bottle of Henny and a bag of coke, but maybe a little (meaningful) toke with the buddies or some video games is fine. People who take this shit way too seriously are really missing out on the bigger picture... remember to have fun and enjoy the process.

Creativity. You can lift weights, study your engineering courses all you want, but it is truly the arts such as dance, music, or painting that tickles the mind in that feel good way.

My nigga I failed Algebra 2 three times. Twice in high school, once in my first sorry attempt at college. It wasn't until I hit rock bottom with xannax addiction and other poor choices that I realized I had to pick a direction and hit the fucking gas. Aced Calc 1, a B in Calc 2 (The A was sooo fucking close too, burnt myself out trying to juggle everything at the end) and I am now in Calc 3. Your anxiety? Kill it by realizing nothing really fucking matters in the grand scheme of things. I am 25,…

Your logic is flawed in the sense that you are equating the value of art/music with videos games due to them being man made. Here’s how music and (performing) art has tremendously helped my life: Music brings people together through sharing of music or actively listening to it together and finding meaning within the music. I have a playlist that I listen to every morning which allows me to sing and dance, which starts off my day in a happy mood. Singing and dancing are huge confidence boosters a…

Sacrifice a little weekend time to actually go out and do something you enjoy with people you really like being around... but make sure it is HIGH QUALITY time. You don't really have the time, but when you do somehow make room for going out, make sure it is worth of your valuable time. This little sprinkle of socializing is to keep us sane and human. Don't overwork yourself. Edit: 25 here, heading down the same road. I don't miss it at all, I had more than my share of binge drinking/smoking/gami…

You got it all twisted here. To deny yourself of art and music is to deny yourself of some of the greatest creations of mankind. What am I really escaping if I go out downtown and enjoy a live funk/jazz band in a dimly lit room full of other people? I'm in the moment right now, enjoying the beautiful sounds that these instruments make through the composition and performance of the band.

How did it get to this point? Was there ever really clear signs? I keep hearing its more a slow drip of losing your erections rather than one day you wake up and it is gone.

I decided to take my risk with the big 3. I'm already short af, so I'm not really down to be short AND balding. There's a small risk for some real permanent ED lost, but you decide how important your hair is to you. Here's is my routine: Costco Minoxidil foam twice a day to the temples and bald patches on my head. Some on my face for beard growth. Expect to retain a shit ton of water so get active and drink plenty of water after the sweat outs. 1.25mg finasteride daily. I got prescribed 5mg …

I get what he said, but why would you even want to enact revenge if you “moved on”? How does that benefit OP in any meaningful way?

Yea, please explain. I still don't think revenge is the right move regardless. It means you're still all up in your feelings about an issue that you simply had no control over.

Ask yourself this, "How would I personally benefit in any meaningful way by telling this dude anything?" Start the recovery process, move the fuck on. Out of sight, out of mind.

It happened to me. I have a close friend who is naturally pretty red pill minded and he used to always hate it when I would talk about my LTR problems, any lovey dovey shit about my ex, and shit like that. I finally ended a 7 year relationship lately and got my glow back after about a month of being single and needless to say, our friendship dynamic has vastly improved. He told me straight up "Bro, this is the ____ that I used to know. The guy with the dope music, super into dancing (my passion)…

At 14 this is all you need to be honest. High volume push ups (progress to diamond push ups once the basic ones get easy), full range of motion pull ups (grip doesn't really matter, I prefer neutral grip for less wear and tear to the read shoulders as wells as more contraption from my lats and biceps. Get a weighted belt when you can hit 3 x 10), squats, sit ups and planks. That's it. It WILL get you results with enough volume. Once you master these fundamental motions, your transition into a …

Amen bro. I'm honestly not 100% with the extreme side of TRP, but this state of mind has helped me moved on from a 7 year LTR where I ended it. There's really no other way. You live with your choices and move forward... once the rose colored tint starts fading everything looks so much clearer... There's a sense of excitement and freedom that we completely lose once we fade into a LTR.

Listen to me, someone who ended a 7 year on and off LTR on cyber monday of 2018. I ended it on similar sentiments. I was totally giving more and expecting her to reciprocate for me. Totally flawed thinking. I put pressure on her that she did not want which eventually led me to disappointment because my happiness totally depended on her. When I showed I was weak and unwilling to walk away, she emotionally manipulated me. I broke up not because I wanted to, but because I knew I needed to. Initiall…
