Be his best friend. I never comment on posts but this one hits home with me. My older brother was 12 years older than me, and he was, and still is my best friend and role model. I respected him and looked up to him because he was my best friend. He would bring me to his college, take me to basketball games etc. I pretty much became a replica of who he is because I look up to him so much. Take him to do cool shit with you. Go for adventurous bike rides, take him to sports games, go to the beach, …

Cheers to being youngest brother. All my siblings are 10, 12, and 13 years older than me. Definitely relate with being independent. Parents really lenient and let me do whatever I want pretty much where with my siblings they were strict. Good and bad, I have a lot of freedom but they’ve seemed to lose interest after raising 3 older ones. Feel like I’ve learned a lot of stuff on my own that my dad never attempted to teach me growing up.

Thanks for that first story... If he makes an effort in the business field, why not make an effort at home with his kids. I understand I am not an equal to him. Respect gotta be earned, but him connecting with me shouldn’t be seen as “stooping” to my level. It shouldn’t be considered lowering himself to get to know me a lil more you know?

True shit. I’ll take a look into that but I agree with your point. Can’t blame anyone else for any flaws. Gotta improve and bounce back. Train keeps moving. Thanks man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
