That’s an unfortunate, deeply rooted cultural pressure, in a lot of places .. need better access to birth control methods (for men and women), more education for women so they can work and help take the pressure off of men to provide in your society. 2	Why should child custody not be based on the best interest of the child standard? My dad got full custody of me and my sisters. It was in our best interests and I’m happy it worked out that way. Mom never once fought back or tried to contact us; she wasn’t well.
