I was referring to the fact that rape seems to be the only crime where the judicial system treats the accused as guilty until proven innocent. On top of that, there is the growing idea that examining the believability of the accuser is somehow 'blaming the victim' that handicaps the ability of the accused to defend them self. To be clear, my original comment was referencing the consequences of a false accusation even if the accused is exonerated. Simply being accused is enough to permanently end a professional career.
