They weren't removed, but when the organisers finally made a statement, they said they apologised to Anita for the terrible position she was forced into. For real.

This resembles to me a sort of "A vast majority of terrorists are muslim so we are auto-banning muslims from entering our country". They dont have a lot of consistency do they? Unless they support Trump's travel ban.

Nice thing about being in a reasonable country outside the United States is I can say black or brown when it's true, because people arent unreasonable about this thing My American friend called an African-Irish guy 'African-American' cause he was afraid of calling him black lol. Was pretty hilarious tbh. I dont think POC had been around yet

As far as i'm aware in.ireland(might be the same up north), getting arrested isnt the end of the world unless they charge you on something. Otherwise you're basically just being questioned.

If that's the only thing you can come up with then okay. I asked questioned it because its clearly full of shit. It's like talking about American politicians getting millions of political donations from banks and oil companies and saying they're not shady as fuck just because it's technically legal. The girl in the video pushed the guy. Unless you saw anything the video to suggest she was attempting to increase the severity of her attack, beating the shit out of her is obviously excessive. Jesus…

I'm clearly not talking about whether or not it was excessive 'under law'. I don't know if you are ignoring it or just didn't read it in the first place. OP said "I don't know what the discussion was about but I don't think that kind of beatdown was needed for a simple shove." It's not a question of legality, but morality. Was it necessary for the pushee to use that much force to neutralise the pusher? That's what we are talking about. "Well it was a she". The person that used excessive force (i…

I'm aware of that. In my original comment I said "(based on the video alone)" because I'm aware there may be more to the story. But, based on the debated point from the video, what gives you ANY reason to suspect that what force he used was necessary and not excessive?

I agree. Also not what my point was. I was talking about how OP said it wasn't 'x82nd's decision if the beatdown was necessary or not. But I argued that because we can objectively the entire incident, we CAN arguably make that judgement. Does it mean the pushee will agree? No Does it have any affect on what actually took place ? No Does it have anything to do with whether or not the pusher should have done it in the first place? No. The force the pushee uses to subdue the pusher is independant o…

Pretty sure we can comprehend excessive force from the video. Is it up to the pushee to defend themselves? Yes. If they beat them half to death, does it excuse it just because they were the person pushed? No. So, our opinions are valid. And that was for sure valid (based on the video alone)
