I am not white knighting i.e. defending the mother at all. What I am questioning is the needless shaming of the male pictured in the image. The image is enough. And I am well aware of the purpose of this sub-reddit--it is dedicated to exposing and shaming women, not boys and men.

Rule #1--No Shaming Men. That is exactly what the OP is doing--he is shaming the young man in the pic. We should not be tearing down other men--especially the most vulnerable ones. That is the not the mark of a civilized and enlightened movement.

Ridicule and attack the adult mother--I'll join in the fun. But don't poke fun at the child, who is blameless and will no doubt suffer greatly due to his mother's poor choices.. Very mean-spirited, cruel and very, very, poor taste. Shame on you OP.
