Yes, this. Most mammals have flat breasts when they're not actively breastfeeding young. It's like basic knowledge that human breasts are secondary sex characteristics and a product of sexual selection and play a huge part in sexual arousal for most women. How do people not know this? https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/the-human-beast/201305/sexual-wiring-womens-breasts

Yes, thank you!! As i said above, I can have an orgasm from nipple stimulation alone. I felt bad about it and looked into it thinking I must be super weird and it turned out I'm FAR from alone. This is honestly something that I think needs to be talked about more as many seem unaware that this is the reality for many women to one extent or another. And it's not as if we designed our own bodies, we can't help it. https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/the-human-beast/201305/sexual-wiring-womens-…

Yes exactly. As someone who can have an orgasm purely through nipple stimulation alone (not my choice btw!! I didn't design my body), I thought I was really weird and looked into it. Turns out I'm FAR from alone. Hard to say that something that feels exactly as stimulating as a clitoris (if not more, in all honesty) "isn't a sex organ". That sounds insane to me. https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/the-human-beast/201305/sexual-wiring-womens-breasts https://www.huffpost.com/entry/breast-orgas…

Thank you! This seems to be exactly what people often don't get about what 'alpha males' are. They were the successful men (ie. who reproduced) throughout human history, and civilization is a whole different world. "The antithesis of the natural order" is exactly a good way of putting it. So of course different men are successful now. And that's so true about most 'real' alpha males being in prison now. So no wonder most of us aren't familiar with them. Women are primally attracted to those men'…

No way those sound really sweet and show how happy/healthy your relationship is ;) They remind me of my past relationship actually (when we were at our happiest). I think the captain-1st mate dynamic can bring out playfulness in a couple and it's really fun & bonding. And I know what you mean thinking that other people won't 'get it', they're your in-jokes and kind of private in a way!

Love these ideas! Handmade things are absolutely the best gifts imo. It's both the gift of a beautiful, useful keepsake that will make him think of you, and the gift of your time ;)

If you are negative and your SO is positive, your simple energies together in the room will raise your spirits a little, and lower his a lot. Attunement makes people physically uncomfortable, which can be experienced if you sit next to an angry person, even if it's a stranger you don't know at all. Your mood and energy are biologically powerful, and letting them run amok can give you consequences that really give you something to be upset about. And that's not a cycle I suggest you allow yoursel…

All this to say, "A key that can open many locks is called a master key, but a lock that can be opened by many keys is a crappy lock.” Ha, I had not heard that, that sums it up well

Steven Pinker & Stefan Molyneux are really interesting so I'll have to check out your other recommendations... Oh, I've see Jonathan Haidt's TED talk on liberals & conservatives, really thought provoking!

You have great taste! I lean pretty Buddhist and Paleo and already like almost everything you recommended so I checked out The Simple Sophisticate and I'm really liking it, thanks <3

I just looked up their website, how beautiful! I haven't subscribed to a magazine in years, but I'm seriously tempted and think I might. What a perfect antidote to most modern women's magazines which I find fairly repellent... not to mention so. many. ads. This free article is lovely: Strong in the Softest of Ways

Despite the big IFs involved, I've never heard evolutionary psychology sound so sweet ;) A nice reminder that male and female are not always in sexual conflict with one another like it can seem. I've been wanting to read The Blank Slate for quite a while now, I might just have to get on that.

It actually seems to me to be a lot like the alpha - beta spectrum in men. Too far on the alpha/masculine side and women are very attracted, but also tend not to feel secure enough with him to feel comfortable in a relationship as he will also tend toward the womanizer/can't commit side of things. And yet too far on the beta (more feminine..?) side and there's not enough respect and attraction. The best for most women is a middle ground where there isn't too much sacrificed on either end. Either…

Amen to this post! And I agree with PhantomDream, if a woman doesn't desire commitment, then she should at least have her own male plates. I actually know a woman like this who genuinely seems happy that way (though it's hard to know for sure or if it will last forever). Interestingly the roles seem truly reversed, with handsome men trying to get her to commit. It's true that other strategies really do work for some people. I happen to think they're probably in a fairly small minority tho.

Let me also be one to say it: yay! I'm Fire-fly and I'm happy to be back on RPW especially in light of this new sub which has such a great, positive energy ;) The quality of posts/comments seems even better than before. This community has helped me SO much and I hope to give back if I can. I'm single right now and in monk mode, working on my girl game so I can make my next relationship the best it can possibly be. I love music, books & movies, my adorable dog, anime, board games, makeup/clothes,…

I do know that a lot of the men on the RP subreddit conflate "alpha" with good, and "beta" with bad. In reality, there are good and bad alpha traits, and good and bad beta traits. The type of guy that a lot of them describe as beta is really an omega. A lot of the advice and tips on how to become an alpha are really about becoming a Greater Beta. It would clear things up a lot for everyone if that was widely understood..

It is invariably annoying for us both because he wants to work and I want his attention, and neither of us gets what we want! So true, I have definitely been through this! This post is a good reminder.

Good explanation. Though while that's usually the way it is right now, I think that it's often forgotten that, yes, that is the reason men will cheat in the situation where women have more power (ie. due to the laws of modern marriages, feminism etc), but that that's not always the case. In situations where the man has more power (ie. ~before the 50s, and currently for rich/powerful men like politicians and businessmen), men DO cheat purely because they're bored, they want younger/hotter, etc. S…

Thank you, love this post I'll even tentatively hypothesize that in a capitalistic, transaction based society, people are especially prone to this sort of thinking Totally agree with that as well.

I've known girls like this (sjws/tumblr feminists) and I honestly think they're probably too far gone to be able to change their minds or tolerate a dominant man.. their feminism is like a fervent religion and lack of consent the worst heresy imaginable. I actually think it's gone so far that it almost appears to have gone into the 'fem dom' realm. I've been noticing that about feminism more and more these days. Many of these women see themselves as these untouchable, powerful queens, and a male…

Actually I think I've read something about how higher testosterone is correlated with more narcissism and anti-social behaviour, and it also makes a man's face more masculine (jaw, brow ridge, etc), so it's possible that it actually could..? And yeah, I never would have thought I'd hear 'dark triad' from a mainstream source..

So I didn't google them but I saw it in the sidebar videos.. nooooo :( Life really isn't fair to anyone is it. Sidenote, I have the CocoRosie song on repeat, such a cool sound I didn't know that's what they were like. Anyway I think that's now my RPW themesong _^

Your back will not have a sign that says "Hello there! I am a single woman with traditional values; I enjoy cooking and maintaining a pleasant living atmosphere, and truly believe in the power of a healthy relationship and the role selflessness plays!" I wish! Anyway so many good reminders, thank you. It seems that I used to really have that approachable, open energy and it worked well for me, but I think over the years the effects of city living and a bit of unfortunate feminism-by-osmosis has …

I agree, so happy to find this new sub, I was worried for a second! The discussion on the latest post on the old sub about 'the direction' they're now taking has involved criticisms saying there has been too much focus on monogamy and traditionalism and not enough on 'alternatives' like egalitarian relationships and being a plate. But those are the current blue pill defaults, and not sensible long-term strategies for women in the light of red pill knowledge. There are many other forums for their…

You're welcome glad it helped :) Hm, I dunno. I guess it's the same thing.. like whether he feels like you belong to him or senses part of you belongs to someone in your past that he can't compete with, male or female. I guess you just hope the guy you're with loves you and knows you well enough to look past it and trust you anyway, which is why maybe giving it some time and not overwhelming him with it all could be a good thing.

Oh, just having more past partners than I would like (though most were committed relationships, there were a couple more adventurous experiences, and when it comes to RP the ideal number is always closer to 0), and not knowing whether to be really up front about it (when they might not want even to hear it) or kind of ignore it and only talk about it if asked.

Well it's really good that you were honest with him, imagine how the guy yelling your old stripper name situation would have gone if you hadn't yet told him :s The jist of partner counts etc, is that you are going to, even unconsciously, seem like more of a risk to him for a LTR because of the stripping (shows a tendency toward hypersexuality), ONS, and especially the cheating. Unfortunately there's no way around that. But there is a such thing as learning from your mistakes. I think it could he…
