1	Emotional expression/knowing yourself seems to be the key to connecting. How can I get better at this? This is a good question. I hope you get some quality feedback. I too am interested to know more. I can only say that it gets a little easier with time. I'm 37 and still struggle with it. For me it only got more difficult (for awhile) when I quit the constant party cycle of life; when bonds could be formed from the shared experience of getting fuct up. If you were initiating conversation with these women and then engaging them in conversation for 30-60 min, then it sounds like you were more or less just refining your conversation skills.
