Because you can just have a capitalist crisis theory (Keynes, Marx, Henry George, pick your poison) predict 90% of the same outcomes while still remaining gender neutral. If your capitalist crisis theory is not gender neutral and e.g. based on patriarchy, you have a big hole in your theory, because it doesn't actually reflect the experiences of the average men, who are supposed to be the beneficiaries of the patriarchy. You will need to subdivide the patriarchy into classes like Marx did: rich (…

The Shirkey Principle is a helluva a drug.

Looks like they published the first chapter on their website. Just google "land of the losers preview".

I don't really enjoy that they put a miserable woman's face next to a graph that shows that women are perceived to be more likable than even above average men throughout their entire lives. There is no "catch" here. Men like making fun of women who hit "the wall", but it is showing that there is no such thing. "Women's Likability declines rapidly with age" from 57% to 45% aka 12 percentage points over a span of 60 years or 0.2 percentage points per year. It is an absolute nothingburger.

If a top 10% guy has 100 matches or whatever, then give him a badge or achievement that shows "more than 100 matches". This achievement is meant to be a red flag. It lets women who don't want to be Mrs. #101 (soon to be replaced by Mrs. #102) avoid these guys. This will do nothing about hookups.

Using incel as an insult is basically free red pill advertising.

This isn't just a dating thing. I've seen the same dynamic in leftwing vs rightwing arguments or any in-group vs out-group scenario. If you aren't 100% left, then you must be some racist far right conspiracy theorist. Even if you have good intentions and never have outwardly done anything racist, they will still accuse you of secretly being racist or being on a slippery slope towards racism. The dumbest part about this is that I always felt somewhat left leaning. This is straight up gaslighting,…

Yes, when he says "bad friend", he means "you're not a friend anymore". That's the entire point though.

Thank you for writing this. What a man needs to do in response to a rejection is to simply accept it. If accepting the rejection means ending the friendship, then so be it. The worst thing you can do as a man is to stick around and harass the girl over her decision.

If you understand this, then accept that these clueless teenage boys make mistakes in their dating strategy instead of assuming that they exactly know what they are doing and that this will culminate in some carefully orchestrated grand master plan that ends with... them not getting the girl and respecting her decision? The people who complain about the friendzone have no "rizz". It is that simple.

So your entire point is that when someone quits being a friend after they realize they got rejected, that they are no longer... friends?

You're a different guy but also immediately going to assuming the worst. The guy might have a crush but simply not know what the fuck he is doing. He doesn't have a masterplan to fool the girl into believing he is her friend, if anything, it would probably be best if the girl immediately notices his romantic intentions, but instead the girl decided that he must be a "friend" on her own. He most likely was just too much of a pushover to ask her out. "It was all a ruse, a manipulative, conniving s…

Again, you're making the mistake of assuming the worst. Nobody is holding anyone at gunpoint and demanding sex. What happens is that intellectually you respect her decision, but emotionally you're still in love with her, but you are not a machine that can just turn off his emotions. Expecting a man to be emotionally dead inside, while acting completely normal on the outside is extremely immoral.

Again you're just assuming the worst for no reason. Is this some kind of projection? Is that how you see the world?

I still love her. I love her so much that I would want her being my girlfriend even if the relationship would have ended long before I would have had sex with her. LALALALA. All I'm seeing here is " I don't know anything about you, but you're a terrible person. I don't know anything about you, but you're a terrible person. I don't know anything about you, but you're a terrible person. I don't know anything about you, but you're a terrible person. I don't know anything about you, but you're a ter…

I'm in the same boat, but I wanted to build a robot girlfriend since 2016. Unfortunately the closest I have been getting to this is designing a third scale model. The thought of dating a real girl is kinda weird, since she would be some kind of vixen getting in-between me and my future wife. I also have goals and dreams for my life that are somewhat incompatible with raising a family.

This financial advice is going to make me filthy rich. Everyone buy stocks in in-vitro-gametogenesis (making sperm and egg cells) companies. Short men! Long women! We are gonna make it!

I don't know your husband or even people with ADHD, but it is possible he is secretly ashamed and doesn't want to show it and the thing he knows he can say out loud is "I have ADHD", but he can't tell you how to fix his issues so he just bottles it up and this makes him feel resentful instead of grateful when you "accommodate" him. Also, "accommodation" isn't doing his job for him, that is probably feeling infantilizing for him. The accommodation he needs isn't for the activity to be done, but f…

"Don't make a move" doesn't work, because the guy is investing into something with a 99% chance of failure. From an expected value perspective it may be better (higher quality relationship), but you have to score at least once in a lifetime.

It's not even eugenics, it's how sexual selection works. Humans aren't single cell organisms that produce exact copies. Intentional mate selection adapts faster to new environments than stochastic mutations. Eugenics is always an intervention in sexual selection. The diversity that eugenicists want to get rid of via "racial hygiene", is actually optimal, because it means sexual selection has more options to choose from. A species that is not threatened by extinction wants to become as diverse as…

Evolutionary psychology has no answer for what we are seeing today. Women are selective, but they also know what "women" (sample size 1) want, so if they want to produce children that other future women want, they have to prioritize factors like looks, because otherwise they would have ugly children that future "women" (sample size 1) don't want.

Iran still sentences women to death for adultery and contraception is a recent invention. Women are biologically selective because pregnancy and child rearing is a significant risk. Your entire story about how women are biologically promiscuous and obsessed over penises relies too much on recent historical events of the past 100 years in a handful of western countries. There are biological reasons for women to have affairs after having children with their long term partner and they mostly revolv…

This is not correct. Women at 26 undergo a quarter life crisis and are highly likely to engage in casual sex and even dump their boyfriends for it. It's not the men that do it. In fact, for a man it is not recommended to marry if the girlfriend is under 26 years old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN9lVJvN-kQ
