Question for the military members hereHonestly it really isn’t even that bad going enlisted as long as you have a good job on your contract. You no doubt are treated better as an Officer and make more money but you can still take advantage of great things as enlisted in the Air Force as long as you keep your head on straight. Plus you can finish out your degree while you’re in and commission as an officer while you’re enlisted. | /r/askTRP | 28/03/21 11:52 AM
Hard to really have game with woman when you’re trying to figure out life. (Venting)At least you’re getting some man. I’ve got no game right now and in a bit of a drought. Feel like I have to relearn everything in that sector | /r/askTRP | 04/02/21 02:14 AM
Girlfriend of 3+ years, DM'ing some dude. Told her to stop. Immediately kept doing it ..on a week long trip right now.Definitely lost frame in the relationship. I was fresh out of High school at the time and in a year relationship so I was clueless. Ended up letting small stuff like OPs situation pass even tho id address it and ended up getting cheated on once college started. You live and learn | /r/askTRP | 02/02/21 01:31 AM
Girlfriend of 3+ years, DM'ing some dude. Told her to stop. Immediately kept doing it ..on a week long trip right now.End it ASAP. Been down this path before when I was a dumb 19 year old a few years ago. You’ll thank yourself for it down the road | /r/askTRP | 01/02/21 10:24 PM
Should I join the military?Little late on this but I’ve been considering the same exact thing as you. I’m currently finishing through my college and thought about the air national guard or army national guard. I’ve been possibly thinking of even doing active duty now just because I’m getting tired of the whole online format of schooling, so I’m thinking I may just end up finishing through to get my associates and be done with it. Overall I think you have the right game plan though. I’m not in the military and haven’t set … | /r/askTRP | 19/01/21 07:39 PM
Graduated College with 0 friends.Honestly I got the college partying experience to a good degree because I’ve just known lots of people and hung around tons of people I’ve known since I was young. I didn’t start college until I turned 21 and now I’m in my second year, plus I’ve stayed at home because I’ve never been able to get myself to pay the money it would require to rent a house, even with friends. I still feel like I’ve missed out on shit myself but I don’t really envy the college kids that get trashed every week and have… | /r/askTRP | 09/01/21 06:11 PM
My hair is leaving me rather quickly, at 18 in already at a Norwood 3 per my previous posts. Aside from planning to see a dermatologist, is this fixable without invasive hair loss surgery? Or am I just fucked over from shitty genetics while I'm still a kid?Honestly man, you either got the hair genes or you don’t. Nothing to be ashamed of. I would just flow with yourself naturally and flow with the way your hair is going. If it comes to being bald just embrace it. Easier said & done because I don’t have this issue but I’ve heard the side effects people can go through with hair growth supplements and I can’t imagine it can be worth it. If you’re insecure about it, hit the gym hard and fill yourself with muscle. No one will give a fuck about you bein… | /r/askTRP | 22/12/20 01:51 AM
sex drive issueDefinitely look more into the thyroid issue with doctors since you’re on meds for it to try and find the root of the issue. That definitely would make sense going back to you saying you have a leaky gut. Sounds like you clearly have some sort of autoimmune disease or something and really should keep reaching out to doctors and trying to find the right antibiotics. Try looking into an anti-inflammation diet as well | /r/askTRP | 03/12/20 12:12 AM
sex drive issueMaybe it’s possible some of the symptoms could ha e been from a result from overtraining but if you haven’t been training since that long it sounds like there’s deeper problems. I’m by no means a medical expert but you probably should go in and at least get some blood work done. Could be thyroid issue or low T. | /r/askTRP | 02/12/20 11:59 PM
sex drive issueHow much are you working out during the week and how long usually are sessions? | /r/askTRP | 02/12/20 09:56 PM
sex drive issueLike I said this is mainly an issue that happened with me plus I know it happens to a lot of people. Sounds like you don’t have an issue with overtraining. If you aren’t sore all the night, not waking up in the middle of the night, or have not lost a desire to train then you most likely can rule overtraining/adrenal fatigue then. I think your issue goes back to what I said is that your stressing yourself out too much. Sounds like you have some serious anxiety and insecurity issues, which is not … | /r/askTRP | 02/12/20 09:32 PM
sex drive issueCertainly is, part of adrenal fatigue as well but yeah it goes either way. I was implying overtraining. My overall point was that a lot of people can downplay it but it really could be a driving issue for a lot of people. | /r/askTRP | 02/12/20 08:19 PM
sex drive issueYou might just be seriously stressing yourself out. I may get some shit for saying this but sometimes this shit can come down to your training. I’m a 22 year old guy also very fit and I had the very same issue with you. My issue came more down to being obsessive with my fitness path and not recovering properly. This may not be the same problem as you but adrenal fatigue is a real thing. It’s great to being lifting and stay physically active like TRP touts for but you certainly can over do it; to… | /r/askTRP | 02/12/20 05:44 PM
Determining budget for an apartment?Yeah man it really is sad how some schools make it a duck measuring contest with a lot of kids for going to these tops schools or just going to school out of state just because. The system doesn’t teach you anything about saving money, such as going to a branch/community school for 2 years to save boat loads of money. Know some kids who went to private colleges, washed out after a semester and took 2 years to pay that shit off. You gave the right idea tho, that’s most likely what I’ll end up doi… | /r/askTRP | 15/11/20 02:01 AM
Determining budget for an apartment?Totally get where you’re coming from. Should make an important note that this job would be 3rd shift. I prob will take this next semester off because my training would be in regular hours but once I would fully start getting going, I’d drop my classes down to part time. This would of course make it a longer process to get the degree but I’m going in for operations management and this could end up being very useful eventually at the company I’d be working for. Plus I’d be making money some of the… | /r/askTRP | 15/11/20 01:16 AM
Determining budget for an apartment? So at the bear minimum that would be around $3,640 | /r/askTRP | 15/11/20 01:07 AM
Tough choices regarding a big decision to make for my life has meet slumped. Looking for any general advice...That’s what I have been thinking. I could even potentially end up doing the national guard later on after I’ve been doing the job a while I’m sure. I honestly enjoy the idea of doing third shift work as well, gives me more time to get my lifting in through the days and keep my eating up. Sounds nice to me having the daytime during the week available to me and working weekends being optional. | /r/askTRP | 09/11/20 01:28 AM
Tough choices regarding a big decision to make for my life has meet slumped. Looking for any general advice...To be clear, I am currently in the pre administration program at the community college I’m at, then transferring to a main college campus and getting bachelors. I really don’t have some major plan towards getting a business degree career wise; I feel like it’s more/less an insurance policy. Originally I had big plans for sales as I’m talented with it, in part from the line of work I’m in. | /r/askTRP | 09/11/20 01:03 AM
My 48 year old mom died yesterday and I don’t know what to do.So sorry for your loss man, that’s awful. I can’t sit and say I understand what position you’re in my any means but say that family is the most important thing and be the best leader you can to be there for your family during your guys’ hardship through this tragedy; that’s the best thing you can do to honor your mother & to try and think the best you can how she would still beyond the world for you guys to push through this as strongly as you can in her honor. You should take time off from ever… | /r/askTRP | 22/09/20 07:17 PM
Injured with no end in sight (22 yrs old)Stick with the rehabbing a 100% that the orthopedics have set up for you. My buddy tore is labrum and it was a lot of not being able to lift shit for 6-8 months; but he stuck with his rehab and following what the doctors told him to do and he recovered. He’s sticking to more machines and not really hitting the benching anymore but you can recover from this (my buddy is also in his 40s BTW, you’re much younger so that for sure helps). Don’t rush it man. There’s plenty of other ways to be healthy … | /r/askTRP | 31/07/20 11:33 PM
Find my way in lifeAppreciate that man Like you said, I am also the epitome of a lot of thinking but not putting in enough action lmao. I could probably benefit with writing shit down, especially with how ADD I am. But I have been thinking about looking into a start up of doing sales somewhere. I just get a little intimidated about the idea of starting a new type of job like that; mostly the idea of failing. But just gotta man the fuck up and try to at least get some experience regardless the outcome. Getting a pe… | /r/askTRP | 26/05/20 01:13 AM
