I smack my roommate's butt a lot, hug him when he leaves for the weekend, and crack awkward jokes that break personal space barriers. I gotta say, #2 is really lulzworthy. Invest in a relationship if you so choose to. The only reason you find this act to be negative is you frame it in a way where it only results in negativity.
