You could easily flip it around to fit whatever genderwar narrative you want: "Fat men are 'heavyset' and are still treated like human beings while fat women aren't even considered women." Ultimately your analysis of society depends on what societal norms you're cherrypicking.

That's a hell of a way to announce that you're going on vacation.

It went the way of /r/punchablefaces, except instead of just shitposting as SRS did, the alt-right is full-on making this subreddit into their new home.

Forget reversing the genders, that's just plain abuse of the law.

Yeah. All the fluff at the beginning of the article is really repelling.

We create a social standard that males cannot share their emotion, and that the male sharing of emotion is a sign of weakness. And this is somehow bad for women.

The wage gap is fake. If, for a living, women are digging holes and men are engineering rockets, then there will be a wage gap. Not because of sexism, but because some labour is higher paying than other labour. If both men and women work at the same hours at the same occupation for the same employer than no, there will be no wage difference. A wage gap is made impossible by multiple existing laws.

A true friend would be a bit more open-minded and accept you for your beliefs. Not to mention that MR is in no way sexist. Forget that 'friend'.

...No? I't just a film based on Harrison Bergeron, a story about a society where everyone is 'equal' due to handicaps. Where the heck does feminism or mens' rights come into here?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
