Eh, goes both ways. Know a recently divorced where she was working as a legal assistant and he was spending her money on the “sound studio” in the basement. He had not a single job their entire marriage. He got half the house equity and kept the studio and half time parental rights, but instead of parenting, spends his time in the basement with “groupies”. Also he is an antivaxxer, go figure.

He was totally unhandy, but hitchhiked and taught english around the world for 8 years when he graduated college. Reinforced education and reading, but a total hippy pacifist vegetarian who taught me to program and play chess at 5.

Well the dude failed to take the steps the court wanted to. They apparwntly gave him several chances tonmake his case and he blew it, so all of this is moot.

He valued his own wellbeing above that of his children, who had to bury him and have lifelong counseling because he filled them with guilt and remorse by setting himself on fire. Good analogy.

As a child who lost their parent as a child, depriving them of your full-self, a.k.a. being alive is the worst thing you can do to them. My father didn't have a choice, and after witnessing a friend and father of two commit suicide recently I can say it is a very selfish act. Nothing is so bad that it's worth taking your life. Now I'm victim blaming. My dad sought out cancer cells he just couldn't handle.

have you ever had a deep conversation with anybody who lost a parent as a young child? I hand't either, and until I had, i didn't realize that others feel like their biggest loss was never getting to experience their parent as an adult or at least a teen. to take that away BY CHOICE demonstrates a big degree of selfishness. to say "I'm not going to be there for your HS graduation" by CHOICE is so fucked up, it's unimaginable

If somebody is so selfish as to deprive their children of ever having an adult conversation with their dad, they’re a lousy dad or mentally ill. Period. Either way, they didn’t deserve custody.

survey filled out by the perpetrators of violence. Could be explained (as noted) that men may be underreporting abuse excludes extreme clinical abuse cases (not part of the survey). So We’re ignoring the MOST hanous abuse cases.

A man or woman's inherent worth has nothing to do with parenting. Providing utility for your children is parenting, and the measure of one's parenting skills would be how much utility you provide. This guy is a bad provider of utility, as demonstrated. Dead man is only useful to the roots of trees.

seems like the court made a good decision. mentally scarring your children with self-immolating suicide is not a good father. He put his political messaging ahead of the wellbeing of his children.

A 2008 review published in the journal Violence and Victims found that although less serious situation violence or altercation was equal for both genders, more serious and violent abuse was perpetrated by men. It was also found that women's physical violence was more likely motivated by self-defense or fear while men's was motivated by anger or control.[36] A 2011 systematic review from the journal of Trauma Violence Abuse also found that the common motives for female on male domestic violence w…

So you’re basically victim blaming and saying women deserve to be murdered.

Does this explain why 50% of women murdered are by their domestic partner?

While the literature generally finds that women are more commonly the victims of domestic violence,[27][29] a small percentage of research study suggests that rates of physical aggression within the context of dating and marriage tend to be similar for men and women, or that women are more likely to commit domestic violence against a partner; this is known as gender symmetry.[30][31][32][33] However, such data generally shows that men tend to inflict the greater share of injuries and incite sign…

Not that bad. The Chinese place down the street from my HS got shut down for serving dollar scoop cat. Me and friends ate there like twice a week.

Well yeah there's no point to gender. It's all a construct. Like why we eat chickens and not cats. Completely arbitrary.
/r/MensRights30/04/17 02:47 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
