I have never thought I was a catch. I have no interest in selling myself. I simply present who I am and what I can offer, and I respect their decision if they decide they don't want it. That's what seems to be missing from your end: respect. Also, there is no "does everything right." Relationships are not a video game, or a puzzle.

Merci!

Effectively is not good enough. I want 100% foolproof lol

Someone loses my empathy once they cross to that sense of entitlement. For example, you use the word "fault." That makes me want to dismiss your problems, because you act as though someone made a mistake in not choosing you for whatever reason, and that it is a choice that should be corrected.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 06:36 AM

Very true. Now...I just need to stop procrastinating and schedule the procedure lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:55 AM

Eh, I think if you can get plastic surgery at that age, you can be sterilized.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:54 AM
1

Because I've done and am all set to do the rest lol Still don't want to risk it, though. I'd have to be put on suicide watch for an unwanted pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:48 AM

Is there anything stopping you guys from marching in the streets?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:46 AM

Do it, I know many women who would want this life.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:45 AM

One...I've studied abortifacients from a folklore angle and have some things I can do in between some of those lol Two, how is falling down some stairs less extreme than surgery? EDIT: I think it's also worth pointing out that spousal rape was criminalized long after Row v Wade. Given how many white conservatives seem terrified of becoming a minority, I'm not at all willing to believe they won't eventually try to make rape legal again.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:27 AM

Which ones are 100% foolproof? lol

I think that logic works for someone who is interested in being pregnant at some point, but just not right now. Once I learned what actually happens during pregnancy and childbirth, I decided I'd never go through it willingly. I tried getting my tubes tied when I was younger but couldn't find anyone willing to do it. If I got pregnant and couldn't have an abortion, they'd have to put me on suicide watch.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:14 AM

Doctors need to stop refusing to sterilize women who ask for it based on the notion that they'll eventually change their mind. I tried getting my tubes tied when I was 19 and couldn't find anyone willing to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:09 AM

No one's dick is worth having a kid if you don't want one. That seems self-explanatory. I'm abstaining until I get sterilized. If bodily autonomy is up for debate for one group, it should be up for debate for everyone. L
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:07 AM

If you don't want kids at all, a hysterectomy is the way to go. I don't know why the men here keep assuming that everyone with a working uterus wants to breed at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:04 AM

I think the other part men miss is that physical attraction is pass/fail. There could be two hot guys with one guy hotter than the other, but that will only make a difference if they're equal on every other standard (and I've never seen that happen). I'm going to turn down a guy who is physically flawless but doesn't check other boxes in favor of a guy who I'm also attracted to and who meets every other requirement.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 04:58 AM
15

Or, you're like me and marry a crazy cat man and get the best of both worlds lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 04:54 AM
2

Well, Jesus needs to pick someone else lol And yeah, I'd like to. I think I have PCOS so a hysterectomy would also help with that. I hadn't bothered because the pill was managing it okay, but the SCOTUS decision has made me change my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 04:53 AM
4

All of that can still fail lol I'm going to hopefully be sterilized soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 04:25 AM

Seriously, all it took was reading about perineums ripping open and the "husband stitch" to get me to change my mind. That, and the story of a friend of a friend whose rib broke while she was pregnant because of the way her uterus expanded. She was on bed rest the entire third trimester. Meanwhile, I get antsy lying down when I get a migraine lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 03:47 AM
1

I actually rather like kids. It's the pregnancy I can't get behind. There are things I actually want in life that I wouldn't suffer through a pregnancy for. If I ever change my mind about kids, I plan to adopt anyway. It seems selfish to create new life when there are lives already in existence that you could provide for.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 03:41 AM

I'm not. No contraceptive is foolproof.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 03:40 AM
1

True, you can only take someone at their word. But if they lied, I don't think that's on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 03:39 AM
1

I dealt with this a lot when I was younger. My best advice is to get a massive co-ed social circle (if you don't have one already) and stick to those guys. Men who have women as platonic friends are pretty much guaranteed to treat you as an equal. And yes, it worked for me. Met my husband that way at 22.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:36 AM

I'm married and would abort any pregnancy I have. Being in a relationship does not mandate breeding.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:32 AM

Still doesn't fix the issue of an unwanted pregnancy. Are you going to cover my income if I have to stop working?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:31 AM
3

Oh no, I'm all about hookups so long as both parties are on the same page. The dumbest thing a woman can do is fuck a guy casually and hope he eventually agrees to date her. Similarly, the dumbest thing a man can do is get into a relationship just because he wants sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:30 AM
1

If we're talking average in terms of looks: I think my husband is average, and he got plenty of casual sex when he was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:28 AM
4

Me? My experience is that most women do engage in casual sex lol And I don't discuss in generalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:23 AM
1

Z-zygote E-embryo F-fetus I take it you don't come around the abortion debate sub much lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:22 AM
3

Yes. Hence, sticking with your level lol Women who allow themselves to be treated like property deserve the type of man who will.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:21 AM
5

I'm sticking with your level. If you want to view women as inanimate objects, you might as well fuck inanimate objects.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:20 AM
1

So if a ZEF is entitled to the use of my body, what's the argument for not giving a man the same right?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:18 AM
7

Well maybe you should stick your dick in locks and leave women alone lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:17 AM
2

There's tons of literature out there about the history of abortifacients. Women have been having abortions for thousands of years, and it was generally acceptable prior to quickening. As a pro-choice woman who's been anticipating this for most of her life, I have a list of various things that can be used to induce a miscarriage. Parsley, yarrow, wild carrot, etc. Are they as safe or effective as modern methods? No. But the risk beats going through an unwanted pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:16 AM
5

Ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:04 AM
1

A guy who is genuinely pro-choice won't change his political stance based on how often he gets his dick wet lol Again, it's not about how the men feel. If I'm not dating a guy, I give zero fucks about his feelings when it comes to whether or not I fuck him. If abortion is off the table, I'm not willing to risk getting pregnant for anything less than a relationship. You guys really need to stop thinking you are the main characters in the lives of women lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:04 AM
5

A casual sex guy is a guy who is physically attractive and someone I would also associate with platonically. A relationship guy is that guy, too, plus meets all my standards for a relationship: doesn't want kids, financially independent, etc. You're missing the obvious: I don't want to date a guy who is with me just for sex. If he's mad, then he's not up to my standards for a relationship. And I am married, to a guy who also had plenty of casual sex when he was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:01 AM
2

Yes, that's why abortions never happened before birth control existed.... Wait.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 01:58 AM
1

I'm just entertaining your train of thought. I think forcing a woman to give birth is more akin to forcing a woman to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 01:58 AM
11

And are these the women who also engage in casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:18 AM
9

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. But maybe you should consider hanging out with women who actually enjoy casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:18 AM
12

It's all they have left.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:16 AM
7

One? 🤣 The men I've fucked casually are unfit for dating. That's why it's fun when they ask you out after and get mad when you turn them down.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:15 AM

True, but if you can get a recording of one encouraging you to have an abortion in one of the banned states, they get to prosecute one of their own lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:11 AM
13

Why do you assume women can't enjoy sex toy status as much as men?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:07 AM

Could be fun to baby trap conservative men, though, especially if they're married.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:06 AM
1

You're the one bringing up property law. If you don't think it's comparable, don't bring it up lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:04 AM
1

Oh, you mean like getting an abortion is a process? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:56 PM
1

As with men, I think those women are insecure as fuck and not fit for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:55 PM
6

One...they're actually complaining about not getting laid, not about dating. Two...I'm generally not a fan of venting without purpose unless you are working through a specific trauma (no, your dry dick is not a trauma). So, what exactly would you like me personally to do for the men who have trouble?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:49 PM
1

Still pretty sure I'm not entitled to stay here without my husband's permission.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:35 PM
1

I was still pro-choice back when I planned on being abstinent until marriage. Try again. How is pregnancy an automatic good?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:34 PM
2

It's not rage. I'm just not willing to wait nine months for my life to be ruined, my job lost, or my health endangered. I wouldn't even put up with a week of that shit. A forced kidney transplant would be less invasive and dangerous lol I think it's telling that pro-lifers don't see pregnancy and childbirth as a big deal. Edit to accommodate your edit: you're the one arguing that because pregnancy is a possible outcome of sex, nothing gets to be done about it. Why would that not be the case for …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 11:07 PM
1

Nah, if anything I'm hornier more often than I was when I was younger. But masturbation fixes that just as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:47 PM
1

My state doesn't recognize common law relationships. I'm not even sure marriage matters. The only name on our house is my husband's.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:43 PM
2

I don't need anything, as I'm not one for proselytizing. The reality is that I'd sooner kill myself than go through an unwanted pregnancy. Convincing you of anything is unimportant. And Roe v Wade didn't classify pregnancy as a disease, so I have no idea what you're talking about lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:42 PM
2

As you get older, you realize how unnecessary a partner is.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:40 PM
1

So...how would a guy who had previously gotten at least casual sex not be hurt? It's not like he's suddenly going to be a relationship option if he wasn't already. The guys I would date are still the same group. The guys I would fuck casually no longer get that. Also, most of us are anticipating a national ban.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:38 PM
1

One, I believe the issue of eviction presumes that both parties own the property. Two, if I tell anyone to leave and they refuse, I don't see why violent removal would be off the table until they themselves become violent. I can't just decide to not leave my friend's house the next time I'm invited over.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:37 PM
1

And if he doesn't want a kid? How would it make sense to date a woman who does?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:35 PM
1

Prior to Friday, the only way I cared about money is that I expect him to be financially independent. Just like I don't demand his financial support, he doesn't get mine. I don't even know how much my husband makes lol After Friday? I think the calculations would change if I was single lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:34 PM
2

I can't imagine caring about status unless I'm a gold digger and equate status with money. But I also think that the type of guys who would date gold diggers deserve to be taken for all they're worth.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:29 PM
1

Then no, I would say status is irrelevant to me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:27 PM
1

Then you're describing a gold digger, which was already in existence. I'm talking specifically of women who will now care about finances solely because they will be stuck with an unwanted pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:25 PM
2

Depends on how you define "status." I decided I must absolutely fuck my husband when I heard him speak a little French (ironically, I now know the language better than he does). Is that status?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:24 PM
1

But again, the money is only for if you knock her up.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:21 PM
6

I assume they're also trashy. Like attracts like in the ghetto and trailer parks.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:18 PM
1

Nice deflect. So are you disagreeing with sex being a need?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:13 PM
1

My great-grandmother was married at 13 and making babies by 16. My opinion is that people who idealize traditional marriage are horrible people.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:09 PM
1

A need worth killing yourself over, according to many of the men here lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:07 PM
1

Ah, so it's an interest now lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:06 PM
1

Not having sex is less work.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:03 PM
2

Sex also leads to STIs. Does that mean people shouldn't be allowed to get treatment for those?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:02 PM
1

You seem to be working from an assumption that women don't view casual sex guys the same way men view casual sex women lol None of the guys I've had casual sex with would have gotten it had abortion not been an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 10:01 PM
1

Paying for a hooker seems as desperate as traveling to another country for an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:58 PM
1

I already acknowledged y'all are desperate lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:56 PM
1

You can still have money and choose not to have sex lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:51 PM

Alas, forced pregnancy does not care about the dynamics of a relationship lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:51 PM
-1

You're the one who brought up property lol For me, it's all about bodily autonomy. No one gets to be inside me unless I say so. It's as simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:49 PM
1

Then you're forgetting "none of the above"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:47 PM
1

Yeah, they used to make a similar argument when women refused to have sex with their husbands lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:47 PM
2

And that's fine. You had that ability already. What you're mad about is that you're too desperate and need to pick one at all lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:43 PM

Consent to sex isn't consent to pregnancy, any more than consent to kissing is consent to sex. And like sex, the consent to pregnancy can be withdrawn at any moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:42 PM
1

Much like a ZEF, you weren't invited lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:38 PM

I wouldn't have sex, period, unless I got sterilized. And I mean nothing....no sperm anywhere near my body.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:37 PM
1

And in what world will the cops not forcibly remove someone from my property if I call them and say this person does not have my permission to be there?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:34 PM
1

Well obviously we're going to vet for money now that abortion isn't a solution. Think of it as insurance.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:33 PM
1

I'd remove them against their will, regardless of what happens to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:32 PM
0

Uh...no? Are you seriously saying someone can trespass on private property for as long as they aren't dangerous? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:28 PM
0

Ok, then let's extend it to a human. I can tell a man to stop fucking me, even if I initially consented. If he doesn't stop, it's rape, and I get to use deadly force.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:27 PM
1

But you're only paying money to the non-hooker if you knock her up, unless she's also a gold digger
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:26 PM
1

Again, not if they refuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:25 PM
1

Then what's the difference, especially if you don't want kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:20 PM
2

Again, it's not the virginity we're mocking. It's the narcissism and entitlement.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:20 PM
1

Or spend it on yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:18 PM

You can remove someone by force if they refuse to leave, even if you initially invited them in.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:18 PM

STIs are also a possible outcome. We still let people get rid of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 09:17 PM
0

Except they still need the validation of sex and are willing to pay for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:41 PM
2

If men could learn to pay for hookers, many problems would be solved lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:32 PM

Whether it's a person is irrelevant. No person is entitled to be inside me without my permission.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:31 PM
1

I don't know anyone who cares about going viral who doesn't have a financial interest tied to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:29 PM
3

He doesn't want kids, either. It's why we aren't having sex until I get sterilized.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:20 PM
3

Huh, I thought all the men were upset that they had to pay for their kids lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:19 PM
2

Yes, because viral is what makes you money.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:19 PM

Well, we DO find it hilarious. I don't know why men seem to think this won't make a difference. No abortion means casual sex is not worth the risk. The only women who will still do it are the ones who were prone to ooops babies already.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:18 PM
3

I'm married and already good on the sex toys bit, but than you for your concern.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:02 PM
2

Yes, because if they're making money it affects their bottom line. If a company puts out a product that doesn't sell, they don't keep selling the product lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:58 PM
1

We know it's meaningless. But when we tell men to fuck off and leave us alone, they get pissy about that as well lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:56 PM
2

Well of course we're going to say whatever we please just to cause pain to people who cause us pain. How is that a shocker? And I have yet to see an example of someone being called a misogynist who did not deserve it. If anything, I think women are too nice to men when it comes to calling them out on their bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:54 PM
4

This reminds of when a guy posted his photo because he thought he was ugly, and I got tons of flak for saying he only looked horrible because he wasn't smiling and looked miserable.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:53 PM
7

I don't know why this is a surprise lol If you can't be social, how do you expect to meet anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:49 PM
1

Nah, the desire of men is only valuable to me if I desire them back.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:47 PM
3

My mom was on birth control when she got pregnant and then had an abortion. Nothing is foolproof, not even tubal ligation. Aren't you the one who said he just wanted equality? Why should you have a problem with men now being vetted for their ability to pay for a pregnancy?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:46 PM
1

Are these the ones no longer having sex? EDIT: also worth pointing out that many think the next step is a national ban (plenty of people called for it on the Roe v Wade thread in this sub). My state's trigger law kicked in automatically, but I'd probably still refuse to have sex if I thought a ban could affect me in the next 2-3 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:45 PM
3

As someone in a red state who doesn't want kids, none of that is worth risking my health and freedom over. The dude had better have funds, because I am not spending one penny on a pregnancy I don't want. You guys really don't seem to understand how abortion bans change the game.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:44 PM
2

Because inceldom goes hand-in-hand with thinking that you are owed sex, and that not getting laid is a problem others need to solve for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:43 PM
2

Woke men are encouraging us. I don't know why you think this is about punishment. It's about safety.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:59 PM
1

I'm married and still don't want kids. Not having sex until I'm sterilized or hit menopause.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:58 PM
1

I'm not refusing to have sex to punish. I'm refusing to have sex because I'd rather die than go through an unwanted pregnancy, and no one's dick is worth dying for (not even my husband's).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:53 PM
7

If women can exist to make babies, men can exist to pay for those babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:50 PM
4

I was never a HP fan outside of the movies, but she is a TERF twat.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:45 PM
1

Okay, then I'll be clear: no one needs sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:30 PM
1

What does that have to do with bodily autonomy? My position on abortion is very simple: no one has the right to be physically attached to me without my ongoing consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:04 PM
2

It was my dad's kid lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:41 PM
3

I'm already going to Hell lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:39 PM
1

And that's different from lusting over those people offline...how?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:37 PM
2

I don't plan to until I get sterilized.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:36 PM
3

Then stop making blanket requests for advice. Choose women you actually want to hear from.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:35 PM
3

My mom was dating my dad when she had an abortion maybe 5 (?) years before I was born. Without it, I wouldn't be here.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:35 PM
7

Does it fix dandruff?

I had something similar. A guy I hooked up with tried to date me after and went a little crazy when I rejected him.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:17 PM
1

Ah, maybe it is a gendered thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:15 PM
4

Why? Is that good for the scalp or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:14 PM
2

To me, status is just popularity. I don't know anyone who cares about that concept post-high school.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:14 PM
1

But you found that person willing to fuck you casually. Why would it be too difficult to find someone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:10 PM
0

I give my advice and usually get bashed for it. You can't help someone who refuses. If these men are looking for anything other than a quick fuck, they're going about it entirely wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:09 PM
3

Ope, triggered.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:02 PM
1

You have to prove causation, not correlation. My mom was molested by her father. She didn't molest me. My parents divorced. I've never raped or assaulted anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:01 PM
1

But wouldn't single encounters be even more effective for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:58 PM
2

So it's an external drive? Then it looks like men cave to peer pressure too easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:56 PM
2

Then your side should reign it in a tad, since abortion is no longer allowed for rape or incest in my state. On the other hand, is your argument that a ZEFs right to life can be based on the method of conception? I don't see how that's any less arbitrary than a woman not wanting to be pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:53 PM
5

Being in a committed relationship is largely irrelevant. I'm married and don't want kids. I'd abort any pregnancy that comes along.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:51 PM
1

Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:50 PM
1

Ah yes, you're a Schrodinger's Man lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:49 PM
2

We do that with our cats, but also with each other to a certain extent.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:35 PM
3

....I don't believe you.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:22 PM
1

Well obviously, but new dick is abundant lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:20 PM

Not when we're so close to IL. We used to have the only abortion clinic in the state...now, they're using their funds for transport to a clinic in (I think) Belleville.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:54 AM
1

Nah, I will make a guy wait because I know guys will do or say anything for sex, including faking romantic interest. I'll only make them wait until I'm sure they're not lying. The one exception was when I lost my virginity, but that was due mostly not knowing yet whether I wanted to....that was about two months. After that, I think the longest anyone has waited is two or three dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:50 AM

This is the first time I've drank by myself in maybe a few years.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:48 AM
1

Two half siblings. He had one brother who, as it turns out, was secretly gay. So no kids there.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:35 AM

Okay, as someone who takes expertise seriously, this made me feel bad. But I can promise you I used a glass lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:33 AM
2

What is considered responsive sexuality?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:30 AM
1

Yeah. That doesn't mean someone can't get me in the mood with foreplay, though. But on a regular basis? Like today, I was sitting at home gaming for a bit. And then just randomly "Hm...I should rub one out before I grab another coffee" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:29 AM
1

I do have one cousin on my mom's side, but she's estranged and I've never actually met her. I think she was an ooops baby. And my uncle made it clear that he didn't want to be involved. My mom is the one listed as the person who will inherit all his stuff, anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:26 AM

Ah, I think it's the "hang out casually" part I don't get.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:22 AM

Wouldn't it be more fun to bust a nut in a new place? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:20 AM

He's only recently gotten into musicals (Hamilton is his gateway drug lol). I never got the singing down, so musicals were not my forte. However, I was an awesome kitchen wench in Once Upon a Mattress my senior year 😘
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:20 AM
2

Don't get me wrong, some stuff I can't do myself. It's just basic mechanics. But if we're talking about only what's needed for me to walk away feeling satisfied? I'll put it this way...I'd be devastated if I never had an orgasm again, but I could easily never have sex again.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:17 AM

Hot damn. My husband has something like 60 cousins. His mother is one of 11 kids, and of her siblings, she had the fewest children...only five 🙄 He has cousins he's never even spoken to, I believe lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:14 AM

Oh, ok. Perhaps? I really don't know how often men think about sex. I'd say I probably think about it 2-3 times a day, but usually not because I see someone I'm sexually attracted to. It just hits me, sort of like hunger.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:13 AM

I was a theater kid but always preferred straight plays. My husband, on the other hand, is very into musicals. I'll probably make him watch it with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:56 AM

BRB, buying some Plan B in bulk
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:55 AM
2

Agreed. I see them as the equivalent of men who do the reverse: get into relationships when all they really want is sex. People who compromise on what they want will never be happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:54 AM

Define "sexual." I get horny daily, but a partner is not needed to address it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:53 AM

I did the same. My husband is a fucking saint.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:49 AM

Do I need to watch this movie?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:49 AM
1

Maybe that's it. I don't see sex as worth an investment. When I was single, I had casual sex if the opportunity presented itself...sort of like someone saying they were ordering pizza and asking me if I wanted anything. But I never pursued it or actively planned for it. The only way someone can be worth an investment from me is if I want to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:48 AM

Dude, I finished the bottle. Plus it was cheap Trader Joe's wine. Highly recommend Peach Pie if your location has it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:45 AM
1

I think it has a lot to with my first relationship, which was very VERY much based just on sex. Ugh, if I have any regrets at all, it was that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:44 AM

No, I think she has a good point. Some women don't ACTUALLY agree with casual sex, but they'll do it anyways for whatever reason. I wonder if FWB is just them trying to justify it in some sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:42 AM

Comments like this make me happy I am literally the only member of my generation on my mom's side.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:41 AM

My state (MO) was trying to ban Plan B and IUDs, but this was before the ruling yesterday. I haven't heard anything recent on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:40 AM

Ah, I guess the connection is what I'm talking about. If there's any connection, I'd want to date them and not just fuck them. I enjoyed casual sex when I was single, but I didn't value it in any way. I'd do it if the opportunity presented itself. Maybe that's the thing...FWB implies some kind of pursuit or arrangement, and I don't see sex as worth the pursuing or arranging.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:37 AM

But that time you spend seeing someone twice...you wouldn't rather spend that with someone new?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:34 AM

True.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:33 AM

Isn't FWB just ongoing casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:30 AM

And you'd prefer fucking one person, rather than multiple?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:29 AM

I suppose I don't find someone worth seeing twice unless they're boyfriend material.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:29 AM
2

If we're talking just sex, all men are lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:28 AM

Oh sure, but I suppose the reverse is more common for me. Plenty of fuckable guys, but very very few worth a second look.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:27 AM
1

How fantastic can it be if it's just about sex? I guess I could see it if there was a particular fetish you want to satisfy, and you have trouble finding someone who will do it...but beyond that, why waste your time with what you've already done instead of experiencing something new?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:26 AM

Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:23 AM

I know, it's just interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:23 AM

If something is "just nice", I'll eat a hundred other things before going back to it. If perfection isn't there, the next thing I prioritize is variety lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:20 AM

Putting up with abuse for as long as my mom and stepmom did (at all, in my case).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:17 AM

Perhaps my attraction threshold is lower, but I've never had trouble finding someone attractive enough to fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:15 AM

Then wouldn't you rather spend time with people you actually would want to date?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:12 AM

That'd still make them fairly interchangeable.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:11 AM

The good outlet would be a vibrator. I'd need more than competent sex to want to see someone twice.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:09 AM

And that's enough to want to see them again?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:05 AM

What's the point with a FWB? If you like someone enough to fuck them a second time, why not just date?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:58 AM

I would find that person remarkably boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:55 AM

I already got talked into a tulip glass. And alas, the wine is almost done.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:50 AM

I have no idea what that is, but ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:48 AM
1

I'd be fine with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:30 AM
1

Yes. Orgasms feel just as good when I give them to myself as when someone else does.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:15 AM

Added to cart.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:14 AM

Yes, especially after finding this sub. It's very difficult to respect men who confuse sex with love.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:13 AM

Shit, I'm so old that I debated religion on a social media site that doesn't even exist anymore lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:01 AM

I mean, yeah in public it's bad. But I'm at home.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 02:00 AM

It's a feature, not a bug.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:57 AM

Debating with Christians is always interesting because I took it pretty seriously when I was Christian, and I studied that shit. I was also a smartass who'd happily correct my Sunday school teachers lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:53 AM

I'm literally by myself in my smoke room.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:51 AM

Shout out to my friend for having tulip glasses as his wedding favor four years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:50 AM

FUCK, hang on
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:47 AM

Ok..peach wine time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:43 AM
5

Are you actually a good dancer?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:41 AM

The first bit is very true.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:38 AM

Is a wine glass really necessary if the entire bottle is for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:36 AM
5

Oh I'm sure a lot of women are trashy. But if that's the kind of woman you want, don't complain.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 01:33 AM
3

Ohhhh I gotcha. It's probably just wishful thinking on their part. Not that I blame them...if I'm ever single again, I'm not wasting time on men, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:39 AM
10

Eh, it sounds like you hang around some trashy women. Very Jerry Springer.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:38 AM
11

So that justifies lying? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:35 AM
1

That doesn't mean they're recently bi. I didn't really articulate my sexuality until after I met my husband, so I haven't had the chance to date women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:33 AM
11

I don't know why you'd need to lie. Just find a woman who is also poly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:31 AM

I love it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:28 AM

I LOVE peach beers
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:15 AM
1

True, it makes them easier to spot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:14 AM
1

That seems rather on message for conservatives.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:10 AM

Envious, and trying to decide if I want to drink this entire bottle of peach wine.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:07 AM

I'd give it to the conservative as a consolation prize.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:04 AM

One, I didn't say it lol Two, that only makes sense if ALL poor women are pro-life. If any aren't and want an abortion, they're in the worst position to access one, legally or illegally. Women like me will always have the means to take off work, travel, and pay out of pocket.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 12:02 AM

My husband is ace/low-libido. I'm good 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 11:56 PM

Options help, but also some people are just horrible at bouncing back from a bad event.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 11:55 PM

Who's imposing? I wanted kids until I read what actually happens to a woman during pregnancy lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 11:51 PM
6

Well.. yeah, because if I was with a woman then there wouldn't be any men lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 11:49 PM
0

My man got that golden retriever gamer energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 11:09 PM
0

True. As the saying goes...I love ALL women and ONLY one man 😘
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:53 PM
7

I'm bi/pan and don't know many women who are. But like me, a lot of my female friends are in relationships with men and just aren't that out. I'd say that I know more lesbians than bi/pan women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:47 PM

Only if it's going to look flawless. Men need to learn how to take better photos in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:45 PM

...I'd sooner slice off my own clit than knowingly fuck a conservative.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:45 PM

You need to find better women. My husband dances to Madonna with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:44 PM
0

Way to prove us wrong 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:32 PM
1

So...does this mean you don't have a problem with women who hate all men because they were abused, assaulted, or raped?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 10:31 PM

Only if she's gotten more pussy than he has.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:59 PM
1

(kudos to coming out as a rape apologist, btw...this is a clever take on "she was asking for it because she wore a shirt skirt lol)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:45 PM
1

Trauma does not excuse you inflicting trauma on others. And I would love to be able to say my abusive father was absent lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:44 PM
1

Anyone who identifies as such. I'm up for smashing all people regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:22 PM

I think my husband earns less than me, and I'm slacking but still plan to take his last name. Waiting until after a trip in August so there's no confusion between my name on reservations and on my ID.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:20 PM

Yes to both.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:18 PM
1

And how invested are you in going after women who abort?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:17 PM
0

But do you think you'll be as successful at stopping abortion as they have been at forcing child support? Or is that irrelevant?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:14 PM
-1

Damn...a lot of men are insane then lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:09 PM
1

I think that depends entirely on your faith in men lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:04 PM
0

Agreed. And we'll see how easily you can actually make us do what you want 😁
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 08:03 PM
1

Did I say "substantial" anywhere? I simply said there will be an increase if conservatives roll back laws covering rape and sexual assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:03 PM
1

...that didn't really challenge my opinion, but okay lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:00 PM
1

And how would that fall on the employer? Isn't it on the one owing child support to accurately report income? Paying someone under the table is just an employment issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:59 PM
1

I mean, if you were already fucking the type of women who'd end up on Teen Mom if they were younger, probably not. The dudes who'd fuck me would be seriously out of luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:56 PM
2

I've worked at tons of places that pay under the table. The most that'll happen is a fine, maybe some tax issues. Plus, the owner is usually friends with the cops so they're covered anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:54 PM
0

Eh, sounds a tad minimal. If you aren't risking jail time, you aren't doing enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:52 PM
0

Yes, but you never hear about men helping other men avoid child support. It's a damn shame you guys don't support each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:48 PM
1

Tastes like smuggling the abortion pill over state lines 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:45 PM
1

One. But he has serious issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:38 PM
1

That doesn't really seem like a gender thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:37 PM
1

Yes, but those women are generally pro-life because they care about the ZEF. They don't get off on women suffering.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:28 PM
0

That's why I specifically mentioned conservatives rolling back laws against rape and sexual assault. I think plenty of men will if they can get away with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:27 PM
1

Yes, we get it. You hate women. Pretty sure that was already known lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:19 PM

It's called resilience. You should try it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:17 PM
1

I have not heard of any, but that is a very good question and I will start watching.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:14 PM
1

Where did I say it was brand new? If only men fought for each other as much...
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:12 PM
5

Plenty of men here have said that masturbation does not satisfy their lust. But I agree, it satisfies mine just as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:11 PM
1

Oh yeah, like that'd stop me lol I took a class in grad school that covered abortifacients. Bring it 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:07 PM
3

I am married, but I've never seen it as a goal. And I'm just here to make fun of the incels ☺️
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:07 PM
1

Sure, that's why I haven't been able to locate training as an abortion doula and join multiple networks for helping women get abortions... Wait.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:03 PM
5

It seems obvious that men will become more violent if fewer women are willing to have sex. I think one of the next steps for conservatives will be to start rolling back the definitions of rape and sexual assault. My state only criminalized spousal rape in the 90s, so that's even fresher than access to abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:02 PM
1

Huh...sounds like you were the ones who got triggered, then 😁
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:55 PM
2

I've been attacked before. It didn't stop me. Again, are you willing to risk your freedom, career, life, etc.? It's a fairly simple question. I'm willing to risk all three to help women get abortions, or get one myself if needed. I'm planning to train as an abortion doula, I've already joined a few networks dedicated to helping women, etc. I'm ready to fight and give zero fucks lol If men can't have that same attitude about their own causes, why would they expect women to be allies?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:54 PM
1

How are they strong for doing something super easy?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:47 PM
1

What was stopping you before?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:47 PM
0

Wait...I thought the argument from conservatives was how easy it is to trigger people 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:46 PM
1

Can't complain about failing when it seems like you've never actually tried lol As someone who doesn't want kids ever, I'd sooner die than go through an unwanted pregnancy. Can you say the same about child support?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:45 PM
1

But you're assuming that because they're less muscular, the women must find them unattractive. People are either hot or not. Once you pass the threshold, it really doesn't matter. Why would anyone who wants to be single suddenly get into relationships? They'll just stay single and not fuck anyone. The added baggage of a relationship is never worth the sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:43 PM
1

I don't see it as manly or unmanly. I just don't value sex beyond orgasms, even in the context of a relationship (I don't want kids). It's not my preferred form of intimacy, and it's not what I base my relationships on. So when a man REALLY values sex, I just see it as a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:34 PM
0

Honey, I've gotten threatened just for going to PP for an annual exam lol If this matters so much to you, being labeled "anti-woman" shouldn't have scared you off. You're thrilled to see women suffering, but won't risk your own self for your cause? That just makes you weak.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:29 PM
2

Based on my own standards.. if a guy is too ugly to fuck, he's also too ugly to date. But beyond that, I don't want kids at all, nor am I willing to go through a pregnancy for any reason. So I'm just done with sex unless I can get sterilized. Yes, but my point is that the pool of men good enough for relationships isn't going to change. Nor will they suddenly get casual sex, unless the woman is willing to take that risk (and none of the ones I know will). So they're still only going to be chosen …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:27 PM
-1

It is kind of strange now men have never organized and protested child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:23 PM
3

This sounds like you're focusing on women who don't normally have casual sex, or use it as a method to get a man into a relationship. The women I know, including myself, handle it the same way men do: casual sex guys rank below guys we'd actually date. So...the men we'd date are still the men we'd date. No one is going to be added to that category. And the men we'd have casual sex with are no longer worth the risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:21 PM
3

Right, but those men tend to conflate sexual intimacy with emotional intimacy. I've dealt with enough of them, unfortunately. If sex is their priority, they shouldn't be getting into relationships anyway.

But if they weren't getting fucked before, what makes them think they will now? That'd require women to be less picky, not more.

For most people (myself included), there isn't much of a point in distinguishing between butthurt men based on the reasons why they're butthurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:11 PM
1

Would you prefer AFAB?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:05 PM

Not everyone is concerned with being married, or even getting dates. Generally speaking, I never wanted either until I first met someone I wanted it with. The same is true of sex. It seems like men are the ones more desperate for intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:49 PM
1

Are you still a ho if you haven't had sex in 6 months? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:39 PM
1

Again, how are they potential allies if they would feel emasculated?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:30 PM
0

I have no love for pro-lifers of any gender. But I do distinguish between pro-lifers who care about the ZEF, and anti-abortion men who just want women to suffer.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:29 PM
3

I adamantly no longer care about men who are celebrating. Not even in the most basic sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:28 PM
1

I asked earlier if they wanted to exclude sperm as human because they do not have a full set of chromosomes, and I got no answer. Of course, then you need to talk about humans with abnormal numbers of chromosomes. But generally speaking, something is considered human because it has human DNA.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:23 PM
1

That's two different questions lol Again, sperm are considered human and, depending on your definition of life, alive. For the second question, I've interacted with many people who don't consider IVF to be proper conception, since it happens without sex. So again, it depends on your definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:22 PM
1

I'm signing up to train as an abortion doula, and I've already joined a few local networks for helping women get abortions in states where it is still legal. Beyond that? I'll have to wait and see what their next move is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:20 PM

I should probably start paying more attention to usernames. But I also tend to assume that any sensible person here is a woman, until told otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:18 PM
1

Then you should specify being a unique organism.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:17 PM

I'm not one for proselytizing. You can call bullshit as you please.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:16 PM
1

That's fair. I can be idealistic at times.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:15 PM
-2

To you? Probably never.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:14 PM
2

Oh trust me, I have no love for my fellow white women. Most of us are trash.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:09 PM
13

Glad to have my opinion about men confirmed lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:08 PM
5

So...why would I value any man who defined their masculinity by being misogynist? I'm so confused. That kind of man would be utterly worthless as an ally.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:06 PM
1

I can think of...maybe two? Three?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:57 PM
5

I allow men to define themselves. What I'm trying to figure out is why a man that concerned with their masculinity is a man I could respect anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:54 PM
3

I'm not thinking of a law. I'm thinking of a SCOTUS case that'd allow them to make abortion unconstitutional.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:51 PM
5

...what
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:46 PM
1

Good point. We can add the other effects of pregnancy into the mix.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:43 PM
4

Oh no, I mean the men here specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:40 PM
1

...WAT
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:36 PM
10

I must say, it was quite cathartic to see the men out themselves as hateful. Now there's no longer a reason to be kind.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:34 PM
5

Holy shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:31 PM
1

I wasn't referring to all that. I grew up with evangelicals. What they say and do in public is very different from what they say and do in private. Simply put, I don't trust evangelicals (or conservatives more broadly) any more than I can throw them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:30 PM
2

I figured.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:24 PM
4

You're speaking of a law. I'm speaking of a ruling that shows abortion to be unconstitutional.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:22 PM
6

I love my 9-6 (lunch is unpaid). I get paid to do shit I used to do for free. It's fucking great
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:19 PM
4

Well as yesterday proved, you don't need the votes lol Just a SCOTUS case that lets them ban abortion outright.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:18 PM
1

Do you actually know many evangelical Christians?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:17 PM
3

So what's to stop you guys from enforcing that at the federal level?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:16 PM
7

No one here cares about kids. They just get off on seeing women suffer.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:14 PM
1

It's cute you think the only thing we're going to do is vote lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:12 PM
-1

Bring it on, by all means. Something tells me I'm willing to go further than you are lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:11 PM
8

Why not go further and leave it up to grasp each person? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:04 PM
4

Tolerance paradox, bro
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:00 PM
1

I gave you my counterexample. And you described nothing, other than how pissy you can get lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:31 AM
3

Yup, I vaguely remember that from a research paper I wrote in high school. It's also generally held that abortion is morally acceptable before quickening.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:20 AM
3

I answered your question, you just don't seem to like the answer lol If you don't view sperm as alive and/or human, just say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:18 AM
1

Well for me, it's just not going to happen at all. I don't want kids and will happily avoid sex with men (I'm also attracted to women lol). My husband is ace/low-libido, so we already rarely fuck. For everyone else? Based on the people I know, I imagine casual sex will be off the table entirely. It probably won't be abstinence until marriage...but certainly until the man can prove he'd be a good parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:16 AM
1

So, again, do you not consider a sperm to be alive?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:09 AM
11

Yup, women who abort because they're raped will face a harsher punishment than their rapist. What a time to be alive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:08 AM
3

My state's trigger law kicked in. No abortion in cases of rape or incest. So, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:04 AM
3

A sperm has human DNA. So, it's human. It also matures and can produce its own energy, two signs of life. Is your argument that it has to have a complete set of chromosomes to be human, or that it has to exhibit other characteristics to be alive?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 07:03 AM
5

Sperm are human and are alive, depending on your definition of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:50 AM
-1

Not as much as I was. I've moved into the vindictive stage as well lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:47 AM
-1

...you do realize the looks threshold will remain the same, right? lol If I wouldn't fuck a guy casually, there's no way he's attractive enough to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:40 AM
2

If women didn't want them when they could at least make sure they didn't have their ooops babies, they certainly won't be wanted now.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:26 AM
5

Aw ..I thought you guys wanted equality 😁 Ripped perineums are the least of your concerns.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:24 AM
1

There will be another civil war before that happens, I think (hope, because it'd be a damn shame if people just sat back and let it happen).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:12 AM
5

We've been one for a while now.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:08 AM
2

Aw...yup, all other things being equal, that's a panty dropper lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 06:01 AM
1

Yikes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:51 AM
0

We get it, you hate women lol I'm not one for proselytizing. I just like to identify my enemies.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:51 AM
9

Yes, I fully support men having their taints ripped open when the women they impregnate go into labor. It's only fair ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:48 AM
1

Not according to your previous comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:45 AM
1

And this presumes she's trustworthy....
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:35 AM
2

Nah, I seem to recall some of your comments. You'd be a slum fuck lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:32 AM
1

Imagine thinking not getting laid is as bad as having your taint ripped open lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:32 AM
1

Which would be of no concern if you weren't already familiar with the push against contraception in conservative circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:03 AM
3

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:02 AM
1

No weird colors.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:00 AM
1

I'm just saying... you thought women were picky before. Now we have to vet everyone according to whether we're willing to risk our lives and careers for them lol No man is worth that, in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 05:00 AM
0

Smoking bans? I'm literally smoking hookah right now lol I support legalizing all drugs and treating addiction as a medical issue, I don't support a draft, and I'm not seeing how the prison system connects.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:58 AM
2

Men didn't find that argument compelling for child support. But in my opinion, when you cross into infringements on one's body, all bets are off.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:56 AM
1

And likewise, my husband is a feminist and pro-choice and stands with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:55 AM

If you strip away a woman's ability to choose at all, then yes forced abortions are just as likely as forced pregnancies. Are you honestly trying to convince me that you care about ZEFs?

I don't want kids, period. I'd sooner kill myself than go through an unwanted pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:38 AM

I mean... I used to be willing to fuck pro-lifers (or at least give them a blow job). Never again lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:35 AM
1

Or just get a pro-choice man.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:35 AM
2

We're staying because we have the resources to help women get abortions and are willing to take the risk. We're in a blue city in a red state, right across the border from a blue state. People here are already anticipating this place becoming a hot spot.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:20 AM
-3

I mean, without the security of abortion, I wouldn't do ANYTHING that could lead to him orgasming. His sperm gets nowhere near me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:12 AM
2

Chopping my hair off this weekend, because that's what women do when our hearts break. Should I do an undercut?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:04 AM
4

Oh shit, I forgot about that. Demographers are going to be very busy in about 20 years...
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:04 AM

They've also shifted a large demographic into feeling as though they have nothing to lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:01 AM

At this point, I'm just counting the days until menopause lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:56 AM
2

RIP your inbox lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:53 AM

.... you'd be surprised lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:47 AM

I was around that when I was a teen. Still got more attention with bigger boobs and hips, and I found my husband when I was heavier than I am now. By all means, get skinny if you want. But don't do it for anyone but yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:44 AM
6

I'm married and will just stick with women if I'm ever single again. No more sex that makes babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:43 AM
1

That's fair. This is a bad sub to be in for pro-choice women lol All my husband asked is that I not commit any acts of terrorism until it gets Handmaid's Tale bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:40 AM
1

Then we have different definitions of respect. Mine is: a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. (per Google)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:38 AM
2

True. But just like the men here are saying they aren't going to stand with women, I won't waste a breath trying to protect them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:35 AM
1

Damn. My mom has some conservative stances, but when it comes to abortion she's always been pro-choice. I think she was worried I'd be mad that she killed my sibling... but I was old enough to know that if she had had that kid, she probably wouldn't have had me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:33 AM
0

I'm betting I spend more time around other human beings than you do...
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:32 AM
0

I can guess, based on your comments lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:23 AM
1

See my other comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:21 AM
1

Then either: You admire different traits than I do We have different definitions of success.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:20 AM

My mom had an abortion when she was younger. She feels the same. It's truly heartbreaking.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:19 AM
-3

Yup, it's why they're also going to push for a rollback on access to contraceptives.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:18 AM
2

If you really want to reach out, I would suggest the abortion debate sub. There, you'll find actual pro-lifers who oppose abortion because of their morals. Here, it's just men who are angry about not getting laid. So unless you want to throw them some pity sex, they won't be helping any time soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:16 AM
0

Oh we most certainly won't. The difference is that I'm willing to die to help women get abortions. We'll see how far you guys are willing to go on your end ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:14 AM
6

I'm hurting too. But this sub is the last place you should look for any kind of empathy. I'm free to talk if you ever want to, though!
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:11 AM
1

If we can force women to give birth, I don't see why we can't force men to get vasectomies. Bodily autonomy for all, or for none.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:07 AM
1

I don't know whether you can, either. But I've had symptoms of PCOS for two decades and was content to manage with the pill. I'm going to push for it as a more permanent treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:06 AM
0

Damn, so much cringe. So, I'm guessing you don't support bodily autonomy generally?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:05 AM
7

I'm calling my gyno next week and asking for a hysterectomy. Tubes, ovaries, uterus, just take it all out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:02 AM
-3

Shit, that's kind as fuck compared to some of the things I've seen posted on this thread about women (to say nothing of this sub in general lol)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:01 AM
1

Depends on what traits you admire. It's generally been easy for me to find people I can respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 03:00 AM
1

Not really a problem, since I haven't needed to deal with many failures.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:55 AM
1

I think every human deserves kindness and grace (until they prove they don't). But respect is admiration. You have to actually be admirable. I don't find failure to be admirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:54 AM
12

...none of these people sound like actual friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:46 AM
1

I don't enjoy someone's suffering unless I hate them and believe they deserve it. I think it's fair to make the same assumption of others.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 02:37 AM
0

So then it's just about inflicting suffering because you yourself have suffered...?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:58 AM
2

False equivalency, and the reason why men who are trying to use this as some sort of play at sympathy will likely fail epically.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:54 AM
0

Nope, if it's on my list at all, it's a must-have.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:48 AM
1

I'm planning to ask for a total hysterectomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:26 AM
2

I think a woman who aborts a pregnancy is far smarter than a woman who has a kid she cannot take care of. Either way, it seems clear to me you want to use pregnancy as a punishment. That's undoubtedly misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:24 AM
1

And as for it being a slippery slope: https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/3535841-thomas-calls-for-overturning-precedents-on-contraceptives-lgbtq-rights/
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:10 AM
1

Wasn't making that type of argument. You just sound like you don't understand at all how this could matter to someone lol I'd sooner kill myself than go through an unwanted pregnancy. Nine months of that would easily ruin my life: no maternity leave, medical expenses, the physical effects, etc. Donating a kidney would be less horrible in comparison, yet that's not mandatory and would save just as many lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:08 AM
0

I do take birth control. So did my mom when she got pregnant and had an abortion lol You can be critical without being hateful. Well...maybe not you, but people in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 01:02 AM
1

Would you tell a same-sex couple not to stress over same-sex marriage being overturned at the federal level?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 12:59 AM
1

And women deserve to suffer because...men have low standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 12:36 AM
1

So...yes, it's clearly an issue of vindictiveness for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 12:34 AM
2

If you're willing to make an exception for rape, it's not about preserving a life. You just view pregnancy as a punishment for what you view as immoral sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 12:33 AM
0

Have you ever spoken to a woman who gave birth against her will? It sounds quite a bit like assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:51 PM
1

Unbelievable. Your parents suffered that and you'd wish the same suffering on others. You're disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:50 PM
0

Sex can also lead to an STI, but I'm still going to get rid of one if I get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:49 PM
1

I'm on the side that preserves my ability to control who goes in my body. I get that you're a man and probably have never been sexually assaulted or raped, so this is not a regular concern for you. But the same arguments made against abortion can also apply to a woman's right to refuse sex
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:46 PM
1

We let other species eat their offspring. Is that an option now? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:44 PM
1

Nah, this is just the same one but ongoing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:43 PM
1

Are you seriously saying that because it's human, a woman loses the right to control her own body?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:42 PM
1

Who cares? If they don't have the right to live inside my body, how does a ZEF?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:41 PM
1

STIs are also a risk. We still let people get rid of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:39 PM
4

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Just like sex, pregnancy requires ongoing consent. No one gets to be attached to my body without my permission. Whether they can survive without me does not override my rights. Can I assume you also support mandatory transplants? Forced blood donation would save way more lives than keeping a woman from having an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:39 PM
1

Bodily autonomy usually involves someone else's life, whether or not you're talking about abortion. Are there any other circumstances in which you believe someone has the right to be inside me without my consent?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:36 PM
7

So...to be clear, you believe pregnancy should be used as a punishment for sex you view as immoral. Do you feel the same way about STIs?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:35 PM
1

You're missing the point. Once you give up bodily autonomy in one aspect, you don't get to pick and choose.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:33 PM
1

I'm talking about any treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:32 PM
1

So you're cool with a right to life being dependent on how one is conceived, but not whether the mother wants to be pregnant? lol If I tell a guy to stop fucking me and he doesn't, is that rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:31 PM
7

About half my family is pro-life. I can see their perspective just fine. I still think forced childbirth is morally wrong (and inconsistent unless you're going to violate bodily autonomy for transplants and blood donation).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:29 PM
1

Do you believe ongoing consent is required for pregnancy? Simple yes or no.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:28 PM
1

You're celebrating forced childbirth. Of course I'm going to feel superior to you. You have as much regard for bodily autonomy as a rapist. I don't normally listen to rapists, either lol You do not get to rejoice at an abortion ban and then wonder why I consider you an enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:25 PM
1

We already had this conversation. Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Should I interpret your refusal to vaccinate as consent to get whatever disease the vaccine is for, and then deny you treatment?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:24 PM
0

Because you're presenting nothing new. You're basically a walking stereotype of a conservative man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:18 PM
1

No at all surprising. And is there someone forcing you to get a vaccine? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:17 PM
1

Yeah, the fact that so many men are saying that means misandry is the only way ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:15 PM
1

Ok, I think you're just trolling now
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:11 PM
1

I figured that was part of the goal from the man's perspective. It's obvious it's about punishing women for having sex lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:09 PM
1

What advice? I'm going to be working to help women get abortions even when it's illegal to do so. I'm not sure what you're even talking about at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:06 PM
1

Yup
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:05 PM
1

Ok, then you aren't one of the men I'm talking about lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:05 PM
2

My body count would go from about 15 to 1
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:04 PM
1

Considering what happened today, I have good reason to be pessimistic lol And now I have to try and get my tubes tied.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:04 PM
1

It's not that complicated when you've had your bodily autonomy infringed upon lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:03 PM
2

Then you're presumably not one of the men enjoying this as some sort of vindictiveness for child support..
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:03 PM
4

Maybe. But I'm also signing up to every network I hear about, and getting trained as an abortion doula.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:55 PM
1

That's still about 15 men who would have gone from at least getting a blow job to getting nothing at all lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:54 PM
3

I don't know anyone who is surprised...just pissed off and ready to riot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:52 PM
1

And, again, it's disgusting that you compare the two. It shows me you have zero concern for bodily autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:51 PM
2

That's fair. I got too idealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:51 PM
9

Damn, this whole thread really does confirm that men just hate women but still wanna fuck us. You'd think they'd support abortion access, because having to give birth to offsprings makes me WAY pickier lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:47 PM
1

Is something going to change because we're having this conversation?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:45 PM
1

You stated both pretty clearly. You expect women to have sympathy for men being forced to pay child support. That's not going to happen, because the two aren't comparable.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:45 PM
1

You must not come to this sub often. Half the men here talk about going insane from lack of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:43 PM
1

What decisions are you questioning?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:26 PM
1

Yes. That's all we're doing here.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:26 PM
1

It's not about issues, but about what they can contribute. First off, people need to learn to be happy while single so that they aren't choosing partners out of desperation. Then, you find someone who actually makes your life better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:24 PM
1

How is debating with you good for society? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:21 PM
1

What sort of weak woman would let that stop her? I'm married, and I agree that a majority of men aren't worth dating or marrying. I just happened to find one who is lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:19 PM
1

Just calling it like I see it. Show me where I'm wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:17 PM
1

Then restate why you are happy abortion is being banned in some states.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:17 PM
1

I'm sorry, I have a life beyond this sub lol Doing or being better than what?.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:16 PM
1

And who is stopping them from being that thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:14 PM
1

Yet you have a problem with that dynamic, otherwise you wouldn't be mad about independent women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:26 PM
1

You're denying women bodily autonomy because not being useful as a protector/provider of resources hurts your feelings. I don't think I'm the one with insecurities here lol The only good thing is that men like you are in the minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:25 PM
1

You admitted you want women to suffer for being independent and not needing relationships with men lol That's, like, straight from my dad's playbook of how he handled his wives when they got a little too self-sufficient 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:22 PM
1

You already stated your beliefs. Men are protectors and resource providers, are women are caregivers. He was always quite angry when one of his wives made more money than he did.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:19 PM
1

You're just as misogynistic lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:17 PM
1

Well for starters, you hold the same views on gender roles. You also both hate abortion, women being independent of men, etc. I'm guessing you're conservative on a lot of other things, too. B
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:17 PM
1

Ha, no you wouldn't! You sound just like him. He also promoted traditional gender roles. You would admire him and his ability to tell non-traditional women to fuck off lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:15 PM
1

For your edit: oh no, my father wasn't absent. He just didn't contribute anything of value, and now he is irrelevant to my life. Perhaps he did something valuable according to your standards...which is why I think your standards are outdated and have no sympathy for you desperately clinging to them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:13 PM
1

A protector is not a parent. If you want to claim the status of parent, you have to actually interact with your offspring lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:11 PM
1

I prefer men who don't hold traditional views of gender as you describe. My dad called watching his own children "babysitting" and somehow managed to never be around when my diaper needed changing. But according to you, this was better than him just not being there...? You're kidding, right? Yes, the men you defend and uphold as the ideal are trash. Similarly, women who voluntarily depend on men for money are weak and infantile.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:09 PM
1

I don't care. That just shows me you're shitty to men who don't fit your stereotypes, either. And THOSE are the men I actually love and respect lol The sooner you guys go extinct, the better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 08:01 PM
0

And you want me to have some sort of sympathy for men who think this way? To see them as allies in humanity?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:59 PM
1

So...again...you want to punish women lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:57 PM
1

So why is forcing me to let someone else use my uterus an exception?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:57 PM
1

And how does preventing women from having abortions do that?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:55 PM
1

But you admitted yourself that those positions are not necessary. You should try evolving like the rest of us. And I'm sorry, I do have other things to do today lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:54 PM
1

You've been attacking me pretty consistently...don't start what you can't finish lol So dead, sure. What about living? Forcing me to donate a kidney would be far less detrimental than forcing me to give birth. And it would save just as many lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:52 PM
1

To address your edit: your choice to cling to old gender stereotypes is your own. Men who want to cling to them will never get my respect because they're sexist as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:50 PM
0

Again, you seem to have a poor grasp of bodily autonomy. Do you believe we should force people to donate blood, tissues, organs, etc.?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:32 PM
3

And I'm sick of men confusing loss of privilege and dominance with being oppressed, yet here we are. And no...I'll stay here and fight. I have no problem with getting into some "good trouble." Mama didn't raise a coward ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:30 PM
1

The privilege to not be financially responsible for a child they created. Women pay child support when the man has custody. And yes, the choice is 100% hers because it's 100% in her body. If men want a say at that point, y'all need to figure out a way to carry a ZEF.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:27 PM
2

Great. Now...exactly what are you willing to do personally for your rights? Because I'm a millennial with student loans and no real will to live lol Would you risk your life or jail time?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:26 PM
1

Where did I say it was insignificant?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:25 PM
1

It does hold women accountable as much as men. What you want is for men to be given special privileges, despite the fact that he isn't the one carrying the pregnancy or giving birth.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:24 PM
3

I'm sure you thought it was clever to hold bodily autonomy hostage in an attempt to get women to give a fuck about your problems...in reality, this will just revive feminism and make men like you persona non grata. But it's okay....keep telling yourself we'll start caring about you because you're evil lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:23 PM
1

So you're willing to let women commit murder so long as men don't have to pay child support 🤣 Stop playing. You just don't like women having sex for pleasure lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:22 PM
1

Were Ted Bundy's victims physically attached to him? Plus, considering your initial comment, I doubt you actually think it's murder.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:21 PM
1

Right, and abortion is a fantastic option in mitigating those risks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:16 PM
6

I used to care, until I got to this sub and plenty of men said they never bother to ask a woman what she'd do with an unwanted pregnancy before fucking her without a condom lol The fact that you still want to compare this to bodily autonomy just got rid of any residual empathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:16 PM
2

By that logic, the person you hit also consented, since they took the risk that they'd get hit by a drunk driver.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:14 PM
1

Your say in the matter ended when you chose to have sex. If you want the same right as the woman, start working on a way to get pregnant yourself. Then you can end all pregnancies you become involved in.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:13 PM
2

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy, any more than consent to kissing is consent to sex. Not to mention, as with consent to sex, that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:10 PM
2

Well I have money and no fear of death, so they won't be getting any from me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:09 PM
0

Then I'm lumping you in with the people who just want to see women punished. And I very much view those people as my enemies, in the most Biblical sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:08 PM
1

An abortion removes someone in my body without my consent. What happens to it is irrelevant to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:06 PM
2

Because none of them actually help women who have unwanted pregnancies lol I'd sooner die than give birth against my will. Exactly what do you propose for that, besides just imprisoning and preventing me?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:05 PM
2

Bodily autonomy generally is.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:04 PM
3

It's not a double standard because bodily autonomy is only being infringed with one individual, not both.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:03 PM
2

You're comparing dating to whether you support basic human rights lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:03 PM
5

Writing a check does not childrearing make lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:02 PM
4

Then men should prove it in how they treat and speak of/to women. All the men here are just demonstrating that it's not about protecting a right to life...it's about punishing women for having sex for pleasure.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 07:01 PM
5

And networks are already getting set up. If I'd be willing to risk my own life getting an illegal abortion, of course I'm willing to risk some jail time helping someone else lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:59 PM
4

"Quite recently" My great-grandmother had roughly 20 pregnancies starting at 16, and her husband was only ever home long enough to impregnate her lol But yes, tell me more how willing men are to contribute when we don't force them to...
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:58 PM
2

I know plenty of men who have walked away and dodged the law. I'm willing to die in my pursuit of an abortion. Are you willing to die in your avoidance of child support? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:56 PM
2

Great, then don't pretend you're not the enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:54 PM
3

MO
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:54 PM
10

TIL narcissism = basic biology and sex ed Also, where do you live that a woman needs the biological father to play body guard? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:54 PM
1

You don't have to. Just don't hide the fact that you're an enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:53 PM
9

It's not a double standard, because what each party contributes to a pregnancy is not equal. If men want us to give a fuck about them, they need to stop holding our bodily autonomy hostage.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:50 PM
4

I'm not outdoorsy, or one for running away from a fight.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:49 PM
7

Including cases of rape and incest. Your comments prove that this is about punishing women for having sex you find immoral lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:49 PM
3

Well, all you have to do is look at history. If abortions were still necessary the last time it was banned, why would that change now?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:48 PM
6

You're comparing money to bodily autonomy. I don't think you know what equality means. Equality would be forcing men to be sterilized after their first ooops pregnancy lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:47 PM
10

Pretty sure fewer women having sex is the exact opposite of what most of the men want here lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:38 PM
8

Was someone forcing men to give birth?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:38 PM
3

I'm gonna stay and get involved in what I'm sure will be a busy abortion access network.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:06 PM
7

Yeah, I'm still menstruating. Try again lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:57 PM
2

I forget the name, but there's a place in CO that offers the training online. It's the program I see get recommended the most. Also, check out the Auntie Network sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:37 PM
27

So...my state had a trigger law. All abortions are now illegal, no exceptions. And there's pending legislation that would make it a crime to go elsewhere for an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:35 PM
1

Right, but these things are only worth thinking about in terms of dating. If I wouldn't choose that kind of guy to date anyway, the reason why he is the way he is is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:17 PM
4

Merci. I've got that millennial existential dread, though, so it is psychologically impossible for me to be afraid.* *I do have a wasp phobia, though
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:08 PM
6

Yup. This weekend is also Pride Fest in my city. This is going to be great.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:00 PM
24

Signing up to become an abortion doula this afternoon. As much as I'm able, I'll always help a woman who needs an abortion get one, legal or otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:51 PM
1

Not every man is cool with taking on a financial dependent, either. My husband would 100% leave me if I quit my job and expected him to pay for my shit lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:44 PM
2

I make enough to get what I need, and a vast majority of what I want. But I also have simple tastes, I'm a minimalist, and I neither have nor want kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:43 PM
1

Nope, I make $40k a year when I'm lucky.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:23 PM
1

I don't care about money. As a general rule, I find jobs with an element of public service to be far more noble.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:09 PM
0

If I cared much about money, I'd agree with you lol Plus, I know teachers making $70k.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:05 PM
1

And that's their call. There's no way I could do anything with someone I don't respect beyond using them for my own benefit.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:58 PM
0

Nah, teachers > most STEM.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:56 PM
1

My city declared itself an abortion sanctuary city several years ago. But we're in a red state so...ugh.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:30 PM
1

I don't know what's ironic about it. I'm pansexual and don't respect women who are failures at life, either lol And what I'd question is whether you respect them, or just desire them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:59 PM
7

Signing up for an abortion doula program. And I'm already on the Auntie network ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:44 PM
1

Ick. I can't really respect people who I don't view as successful in achieving their goals.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:35 PM
0

Why would a man? Don't you want a partner you respect? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:34 PM
2

We were, but I've never seen that one before lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:02 AM
2

What post do you find condescending?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:01 AM
3

It's not about keeping score. We had the gift conversation over a decade ago. If he's unhappy with it, he's free to speak up.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:01 AM
1

When he starts getting me gifts, sure lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:33 AM
1

That's a new one.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:31 AM
2

That's fair. I just discovered it today.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:29 AM
2

A vacation?! Jesus, how much money do you think I make? lol And my husband isn't big on gifts.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:28 AM
1

I've never done FWB, but yes. F means friend, right? Not "random at the bar" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:28 AM
2

Lemme guess... conservative? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:27 AM
1

But you are talking about me paying for my partner's shit as though it were my own. That's not happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:26 AM
3

Maybe you should just smile more :)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:26 AM
4

If I wanted a financial dependent, I'd pop out a kid and at least get tax breaks. I prefer dating adults who make their own money.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:25 AM
1

I've never done a blind date. I think the shortest time I've known someone before dating them was a few days.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:10 AM
1

If someone hasn't earned my trust, I'm not dating them anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:09 AM
2

Nah, I have yet to know a male doctor who didn't cheat on every woman he ever dated. Those hoes are for the streets.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:07 AM
2

Thoughts and prayers for that man
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 03:02 AM
5

Why would anyone want to be with an unsuccessful partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:58 AM
3

The antidote to this place is r/AreTheStraightsOK
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 02:54 AM
1

If they're talking about where they live, they'll usually say lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 11:50 PM
1

So do I. People ask me all the time where I live. I have no issue saying the name of the neighborhood. From here it's as easy as "House? Apartment?"
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:32 PM
1

Where do you live that it's bad to ask a woman where she lives? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:21 PM
1

Living situation is easy to ask about lol For sexual history, also easy assuming you're ready to have sex. And sure you can. It's not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:46 PM
1

Yes, because if the other person is just going to let it slide, it can't be much of a deterrent. Example: I would never date a guy who has or wants kids. There's no way I'm walking away from a first date without knowing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:23 PM
2

And that's fine. I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea. But I don't get why men try to argue against it as though they aren't exactly the type I want to avoid lol I don't want a man who prioritizes sex in a relationship, or who uses sex as his way of gauging how much he love do me. I don't want a man who is in the relationship because it makes sex easier to come by. I want someone who I can be sure is capable of genuine love.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:17 PM
1

Because I think it's on the other person to uphold their own standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:09 PM
1

Depends on what's wrong. If I suddenly lose the horniness, I'm outta there
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:57 PM
1

Then great, say that's what you want. Again, the point is to filter out men like you in terms of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:51 PM
0

And I never said the past isn't a factor in any circumstance. I just don't use it to determine how I feel about the present circumstances.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:48 PM
1

If he wants to be treated like casual sex guy, why is he saying he wants a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:28 PM
2

That's the part I don't sympathize with. I don't make exceptions based on what someone did or didn't do previously. If I'm not getting what I want from the relationship, I leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:27 PM
1

No, I just think you need to realize that getting rid of a man like you is probably the goal of the standard lol If a guy gets mad because I make him wait to have sex, I want him to leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:26 PM
1

And that's fine. Why do men always act like they're such a catch that women should be upset that they're leaving? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:07 PM
2

Then I would assume you don't date women who have had casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:05 PM
1

Then he should leave. Men don't realize that women have these standards to filter men out lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:05 PM
5

Except the question at hand is whether you're going to take your car to someone who won't fix it for you lol If he was getting sex immediately at the start of the relationship, would he care about what she had done in the past?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:04 PM
1

Why would a guy who is otherwise okay with premarital sex suddenly be okay with waiting ONLY if she was a virgin? Either he wants a virgin...in which case, the issue is her virginity, and he would have asked about that early on (they always do). Or, he has to choose whether he can wait until marriage, and what she did or didn't do in her past has no influence on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:29 PM
0

Probably.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:27 PM
3

Then don't....? But what does that have to do with not getting laid in the present?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:21 PM
1

I just think that the terms for sex are enough to make a decision on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:17 PM
2

I've certainly never felt like I strategize, and I've never had any real trouble.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:12 PM
2

If he's waiting for four months, in what way are they incompatible?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:52 PM
2

How would it be a waste for her?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:45 PM
1

Why would I want to be with a guy who views that as weaponizing sex and thinks he's entitled? lol The whole point is to get rid of men who are there for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:40 PM
1

I'll make a guy wait because I know men will do or say anything to get their dicks wet, including pretending to want a relationship.

But she's not obligated to disclose anything. If the man doesn't like the terms, he's free to leave. The whole point of doing it is to get rid of men who have a problem with it in the first place lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:35 PM
4

According to the flair info, I'm black pill by default because I think anyone who needs a strategy to get laid is a lost cause.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:34 PM
4

I also never specified exclusivity. I make a guy wait until I'm sure he's not faking interest in a relationship just to get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:30 PM
1

She can, but that's entirely her call. If a man wants to be a fuckboi, there is nothing stopping him. If all you want is immediate sex, I don't know why you'd ask for a relationship anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:25 PM
4

What's unusual? I'll make a guy wait if he says he wants a relationship because I know men will do or say anything to get laid. On the other hand, there's no reason to make someone wait if it's just casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:24 PM
1

And then they wonder why they're forever alone............
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:08 PM
4

But you're the one making comparisons between men who got casual sex and men who didn't (based on your comment). You can't demand one position and then get mad you aren't treated like the other guy lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 06:01 PM
10

Then men should learn to be upfront about what they want. If you want sex, don't ask for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 05:44 PM
2

No, because my standards for just sex are WAAAAAAAAY lower than my standards for a relationship. The fact that I'd fuck a guy means he's physically attractive and not an absolute asshole. That's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 05:42 PM
2

Then he's mad about her not being a virgin, in which case it makes no sense that he's trying to push her to have sex before marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 05:37 PM
13

If he's not happy not getting laid, he should leave. What she did in her past or might do in the future is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 04:55 PM
2

Yup
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 04:08 PM
4

I'm addicted to coffee and hookah. Social status is for cheerleader types lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:59 PM

Cry about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:53 PM

If you needed RP, they didn't raise you properly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:01 PM

While I agree with this in a general sense...not when it comes to dating. The older I get, the less willing I am to put up with anyone else's bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:07 AM
3

FUCKIN PREACH
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:05 AM
4

For me, it's more like hunger. I'll just randomly get horny...maybe wait and see if it goes away on its own lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 12:34 AM
6

It's also fun every morning to play this guessing game: am I horny, or do I need to pee?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 12:14 AM
7

I wish I could take credit for the insight, but I saw it somewhere else and had the same reaction as you lol Thinking back, all of my girl crushes got attributed to just REALLY wishing I was like that person. It wasn't until college, and meeting other queer women, that I realized I "liked" those girls the same way I had "liked" all the boys I crushed on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 12:02 AM
4

I don't equate attraction with arousal. I just aroused randomly and then see if there's anyone around who can help me with it lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:49 PM
11

I'm starting to think that any RP man who'd say he has good parents is lying to himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:43 PM
2

Mine went neither well nor poorly...he just didn't take the hint. Fun fact: he did not know I interpreted our first date as a date lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:17 PM
10

See and that's weird to me. It doesn't matter how physically attractive someone is...the second I find out they're an idiot, they're ugly to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 09:43 PM
3

Maybe the difference is online dating, or dating strangers...? I've only ever gone on a date with someone I already knew for a while. And I've never done online dating at all (not sure it even existed when I was last single lol).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 09:42 PM
27

I'm pansexual and as attracted to women as I am to men (probably more, since if I ever leave my husband, I'll likely date women exclusively). So of course, I'm a big fan of queer relationships. But this sub in particular? There seems to be this almost inherent objectification of women in male sexuality. Some of the men here say the nastiest shit about women, then still want to fuck them. I think it actually took me a long time to embrace my sexuality because I didn't see women the same way men s…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 07:12 PM
2

I love my husband. That's why I'm with him. It's as simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 07:05 PM
2

If I recall correctly (this was in 2008), I gave my husband a lap dance, or at least tried to lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 07:00 PM
0

I'm just saying that as a woman, I'd be thrilled to look like most of them. And as a pansexual woman, I'd be thrilled to fuck most of them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:59 PM
1

About half my friends growing up were purity culture, so courting means something VERY different than dating to me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:36 PM
1

Courting? Yikes lol And no, but only because it was literally 48 hours between our first and second dates. If more time had elapsed, probably.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:32 PM
0

If he wants exclusivity but can't bring himself to ask for it, we're fundamentally incompatible. I don't like men who play games and make assumptions. My husband nailed down exclusivity on our second date. It's not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:27 PM
0

And why shouldn't I? Because it'll hurt the feelings of some guy I'm not even in a relationship with?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:16 PM
1

Then it's on you to establish exclusivity. It's not that difficult. I think the longest it's ever taken me is two dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:07 PM
1

Apart from forcing someone to have sex with me, sure. Why would I have sex for any reason other than that I want to?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:06 PM
0

I'm thinking about arguments centered around how being chosen or not chosen to have sex, and when, makes a man feel. In the context of casual sex, why are his feelings relevant?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 05:10 PM
1

I mean continuously having casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 05:09 PM
0

You have a very twisted view of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 05:08 PM
-1

In the context of casual sex? I'm pretty sure women already know men don't care about them in those situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 04:15 PM
0

And are these women the ones usually having casual sex? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 04:01 PM
1

The men's feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:51 PM
7

Why is it that men seem to think women care so much about their feelings in the context of casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:49 PM
5

No, what I expect from a guy is pretty much the same across the board. Exceptions can be made, but only if I can get to a point of real love and trust.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:48 PM
0

Why is this always the response from men? You act like we use sex as a weapon, which maybe says more about how you feel about the women you fuck casually. Aside from basic consent, what you want does not matter at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:43 PM
1

But, again, you provide no evidence. You cite an article about Zoom but have no data surrounding other forms of socialization. And we already covered my opinion of people who have meltdowns because they're horny lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:40 PM
1

Not even close. A guy has to be attractive for me to want to fuck him. Whether I actually do has very little to do with him at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:32 PM
3

Of course I wouldn't set a friend up with someone unattractive. How is this shocking? Do men normally set up their friends with ugly women?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:31 PM
3

Sure, as long as they don't complain when I tell them to fuck off. I've found that they won't get the hint if you're too nice about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 03:10 PM
1

And, per my original point, that's not a need.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:23 PM
8

Jesus, I must be a troll then lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:21 PM
1

Nobody? Absolutely nobody? They've asked out every woman of legal age they've come across? Because I'm betting that the loneliest people still have standards. The question is why they're still so unhappy when they're adhering to those standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:19 PM
1

As a fat chick (5'4 and 190lbs), I 100% accept it lol The problem is when men get so desperate, they fuck women they aren't actually attracted to anyway. So, you guys seem to think our lack of desperation is a problem, instead of considering that perhaps you should start sticking to your standards as rigidly as we stick to ours.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:13 PM
1

But you're also forgetting the obvious third option: just don't eat out at all if what is available isn't to your liking.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:10 PM
5

Jesus, that's even worse. Why is a woman obsessing over them? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:06 PM
1

If they're open to them at all, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:55 PM
2

True, but I would only enjoy someone's suffering if I hated them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:35 PM
1

It seems pretty obvious to me. But I don't know why men are so willing to financially support women to begin with. Obviously not all, because my husband would 100% leave me if I told him I quit my job and expected him to pay my bills and buy me shit. But the fact that he's rare is concerning.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:27 PM
1

And I'd consider that an open relationship, not casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:25 PM
1

But can you provide evidence that they actually tried it? (Also, if we're still talking horniness, masturbation fixes that too lol)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:25 PM
2

For the purpose of enjoying their suffering? Absolutely. TRP is just the new flavor of misogyny. MGTOW would actually be decent if they didn't have "You can't fire me, I quit!" And incels should be hated for obvious reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:23 PM
1

You went from video calls to romantic/sexual touch while skipping platonic touch.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:22 PM
2

And I didn't lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:21 PM
1

Oh I agree that wouldn't be a relationship. But I'd call that "dating" and not casual sex. For me, casual sex is sex only. No dates, no hanging out, etc. For me, in particular, no planned repeat encounters,as that would include the discussed status you mentioned. You get together, you fuck, then you go your separate ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:20 PM
6

I usually post about my husband, and my experiences with being abused and assaulted. Two very valid reasons for someone to have space in my brain. Yours are not lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:08 PM
1

...what? Casual sex doesn't even include dates lol You're thinking of an open relationship. Not casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:05 PM
1

...if you're fucking one person only for three years, that's not casual sex lol Again, it sounds like you just have an issue with casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:02 PM
0

Ok...?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:59 PM
9

Those are quite the assumptions, especially since people usually specify locations when they have exact numbers
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:58 PM
1

Again, do you have actual evidence of this?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:55 PM
1

Because, again, you assume that that relationship will last...and you seem to poorly grasp how often women will go without because someone doesn't meet their standards (or hop between casual partners because the standards for that are lower). Example: prior to my husband, I'd say that 80% of my time (starting with my first romantic/sexual encounter) was being single. That 20% of relationships was split between 3 guys And even with lower standards for casual sex, I found someone for the single ti…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:55 PM
0

...because men are children and don't understand how standards work? This isn't kindergarten. You aren't going to get an A for effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:47 PM
15

Nah, this is pretty hateful. Spin it however you like. I don't go on TRP and enjoy the suffering of the men there, because they're irrelevant and simply don't exist for me. They do show up here occasionally, though lol These women, on the other hand, are living in your brain rent-free. And speaking as a woman myself, it is hilarious as fuck to think that men obsess over this so much that they'd make a post about it. When we don't want to date a guy, they simply stop mattering. You don't want the…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:45 PM
14

You seem pretty hateful. Kinda like the relationship version of HCA lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:40 PM
17

How are they any more hateful than you? lol I look worse than most of the women in that photo, and I apparently married a Chad. You guys really need to stop clinging to the delusion that the women who don't want to fuck you will eventually suffer.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:37 PM
22

You're confusing "average" with "attractive." If you have to eliminate a large number of people from the data pool to make your point, you should consider that your point is flawed lol When I say the average guy is ugly, I'm including fat guys and old guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:35 PM
0

Scared? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:32 PM
21

...that's not how averages work lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:32 PM
5

Men who can get casual sex. Apparently, my husband (the gamer nerd who plays fantasy baseball and MtG, who is introverted as fuck, and who can name all of the winners of the Academy Award for Best Picture chronologically) is a Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:31 PM
-1

Who cares if he put in the work FOR HER?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:27 PM
36

You think those women are average-looking? Jesus, the men here really are delusional lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:24 PM
1

Amount of partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:20 PM
1

So if you agree it's horniness, what are we disagreeing on?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:19 PM
1

That really makes no sense. If you admit that women with lower standards have more options, why would they be expected to be in relationships, or having sex, as often as women who have fewer options?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:18 PM
1

Then why would you be considering those women at all, when they're off the market? I'm looking for proof of your supposed stats of single women lol Women are also less likely to be having casual sex at all, so again, why is this relevant?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:06 PM
1

I'll need to see a study then, because you don't really seem to be giving solid examples of how people DID socialize, rather than how they theoretically COULD socialize. I also don't know where you live, but where I'm at, the average adult would absolutely be living alone if they didn't have a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 03:03 PM
1

That's quite a leap lol "Most" could mean 50.1% vs 49.9%. I don't know how that translates into anything being likely, especially if you have a healthy social life and encounter dozens of women when you go out. I also don't know why you're assuming that casual sex = FWB.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:59 PM
1

"Most" doesn't mean much lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:51 PM
1

Right, but if she's single then that "one partner at a time" can be one in the morning, one at lunch, and one in the afternoon if she likes lol I just don't think you get how often women aren't doing anything at all (sex, relationship, marriage, whatever) simply because no one meets her standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:47 PM
4

If your argument is that horny people do stupid things, you won't find any disagreement from me. What I find disingenuous is comparing horniness with loneliness.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:42 PM
1

And I'm talking about body counts. It sounds like you just have an issue with people who have casual sex in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:41 PM
3

...do you not hug your friends? Your family?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:40 PM
1

Again, you seem to work from the assumption that relationships don't end lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:39 PM
1

Again, sure, but it does mean you probably spend less time being single in general. In terms of relationships, my standards eliminate probably 90% of guys. For people with high standards, we're either single AND abstinent, or single but maybe having casual sex with men who are still at least physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:35 PM
1

It also says she quit her job, so I assume he financially supported her.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:30 PM
3

You're the one who mentioned numbers. Personally, I think people are either hot, or not. Being hotter than someone else I also find hot isn't really relevant. And I agree, people date who they like. But if your standards are lower, you like far more people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:28 PM
3

Who said women didn't want casual sex? I enjoyed casual sex when I was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:13 PM
6

You act as though there are only one of each, or that relationships don't end. Let's say I only like 8s. I find one, we date for a bit, then break up. Now I'm waiting until another 8 comes along. It could be days, months, years...but in the meantime, I'm not with anyone else. If I like 8s AND 5s (and, presumably, everything in between), same scenario: I find one, we date, we break up. Now I'm waiting until another 5-8 comes along...and there's TONS of options with that kind of range. I could pro…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:10 PM
5

I never wanted to get married. It was never a goal. Nor was dating or sex in general. I never want any of those things until I first meet someone I want them with.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:00 PM
1

Yes, that's what happens when you take on a financial dependent. It's one of the reasons why my husband and I keep our money separate (no joint accounts) and have a prenup.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:59 PM
8

Why are you assuming it's either/or? If 5 and 8 are both options, she'll likely get with both at one point or another.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:58 PM
10

Sure, but the same thing applies to relationships: the lower her standards, the more men who are actual relationship options. And usually, you fuck in a relationship lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:51 PM
12

You're comparing not having a partner to zero contact with others. That makes no sense. And I agree, but it's clear to me that you are NOT okay with being alone. People who are okay with being alone don't get sad about things like eating by themselves lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:40 PM
24

Also worth pointing out that women with lower standards are more likely to have higher body counts, since they find more men fuckable. So they also need to stop bitching about how many men she's been with.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:37 PM
2

Frankly, you sound "defective" because you have such a problem with being alone. Even for people I know who absolutely want a partner for more practical reasons (kids), they can still enjoy their own company. Shit, I'm married and eat out by myself quite often.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:35 PM
1

Then why do the trends matter? If I want X, and no potential partner I meet has X, I'm obviously not picking any of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:31 PM
3

True, but I don't think you can be self-actualized if you can't handle being single. Single is the default setting. If you can't manage it, you're pretty broken.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 06:03 AM
2

Then you aren't one of the men with a problem, I assume lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 06:02 AM
2

...the person who didn't get the pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:32 AM
3

And that scale is going to vary wildly from person to person, so what's the use of it unless you're just desperate?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:32 AM
3

Most people aren't wired to be many things, but hands-down the happiest people I know are those who didn't choose a partner because they didn't want to be alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 04:31 AM
1

Astrology daughter.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 02:04 AM
7

My dad and stepmom. She stuck around for way too long.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:53 AM
4

And yet y'all still so desperate for that 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:50 AM
3

Seems easier to hire a sex worker.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:50 AM
3

Please inform me when someone dies from lack of pussy lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:49 AM
6

And so do men. So what's your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:49 AM
7

Sure, but this only works from the assumption that they need to pick anyone at all. Anyone can want whoever they want, regardless of what they have to offer, so long as they'd rather be single than settle. The issue is not where two people are of "equal value," but whether a person can adhere to their standards without exception.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 01:48 AM
5

Ha, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 11:17 PM
7

So...what, you're just mad that men still need women for pussy but women don't need men for anything at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 11:16 PM
2

Because said spouse controls access to those resources and can cut you off at any time. I've witnessed women getting their "allowances" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:23 PM
17

Making equal contributions to housework, childcare, etc. Supporting their partners in ways that don't involve writing a check. Doing a lot more social labor (remembering important dates and events, planning things, picking gifts, etc.).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:19 PM
9

So you'd rather have women settle for someone they aren't attracted to? Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:17 PM
3

Your general argument presumes, though lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:55 PM
1

Or, men should stop working jobs they hate...? My husband just did a major career switch and he is much happier. It's not like anyone is forcing men to work hazardous jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:54 PM
9

So what else do you offer besides money and dick? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:48 PM
17

But people are either fuckable, or they're not. Arguing you should be entitled to anything because you're average is just...well, entitled lol If the average guy has a trait I find disgusting, then I think the average guy is disgusting. The fact that he is average means nothing. I don't base my standards on what will get me the most options.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:48 PM
10

Trends are only relevant to the choices you're giving if making a choice is mandatory at all. No one is forcing anyone, men or women, to go out on dates or get married. If there were absolutely no men out there like my husband, I wouldn't be with any man at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:46 PM
4

I don't know any men who have those jobs, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:41 PM
9

Sure, but we're talking about relationships, which are inherently personal. The statistical reality is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:39 PM

I'm suddenly grinning at the thought of men having to regularly erase and redo that tattoo lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:37 PM
6

That presumes the woman is willing to become a financial dependent.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:36 PM
5

Ah yes, being nice just because someone has pussy. That's love, right there lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:35 PM
2

Hi neighbor!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:33 PM
19

Speak for yourself. I haven't been single since 2008. Some of you are managing to evolve lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:31 PM
26

OR, men could learn to offer something other than money and dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:25 PM
15

Ok here's some honesty: whether you are average has nothing to do with whether you're attractive. Stop bringing up averages as though they mean anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 09:23 PM
10

Sure, when men tattoo their dick sizes on their foreheads lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 08:58 PM
3

He's so generic that I'd assume the profile was fake lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 05:56 PM
1

Then why would being an outcast matter at all? If you can't manage to be friends with people, how do you expect to be able to flirt?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 05:45 PM
2

Why would you do something nice if it's only about sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 05:36 PM
4

Be honest. It really is that easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 05:34 PM
1

I've never really noticed a difference with girth, but I'd say 5-6'' on length.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 04:17 PM
3

I'm probably one of the few women who really enjoys PIV sex. So yes, I care about size.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:38 PM
6

Your mom doesn't count.* *title of my sex tape
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:36 PM
1

If it's not about basic socialization, you wouldn't be talking about nerd boys being outcasts suddenly when they hit puberty. You can argue that flirting matters more all you like, but I'm not buying it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:31 PM
3

No, I've never cared to ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:27 PM
1

Yes. If someone isn't giving me what I expect from them, I leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 07:07 AM
2

Again, where did I claim my experience was mainstream?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 06:46 AM
5

What's always interesting is that when a guy here complains about women, it's only ever in the context of dating and sex. I don't know whether that means women are never a problem in any other context, or they are but not worth complaining about. Personally, I'd be thrilled if the only time I ever had to deal with shitty men was when it came to dating and sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 06:14 AM
1

Yeah, no. My husband is type 2 bipolar and I've been around for multiple breakdowns. Either you pick shitty women, or you get abusive and toxic as fuck when you express your emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 06:09 AM
1

I've been talking about basic socialization the whole time lol And really, you've just been proving my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 06:05 AM
2

Your assumption that I must be a boomer because I was raised Christian conservative is fairly ignorant. You're the one citing the mainstream, not me.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 06:04 AM
1

Shit, with my standards it's more like 90% aren't worth it lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 01:17 AM
2

He never had trouble getting casual sex when he was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 01:16 AM
1

Average/below average tells me nothing. Do I find them physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 01:13 AM
1

That doesn't mean she isn't immature. She sounds like a 12 y/o.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:34 PM
1

Sounds like she may be too immature for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:27 PM
2

Nah, slutty is cut off shorts. If I can't see your cheeks, you're not trying hard enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:23 PM
2

So...no talking. Again, the worst thing you can do is make assumptions.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:22 PM
1

Yup, I do that. And growing up, anything less than a B (8.5/10) was failing as far as my family was concerned lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:20 PM
3

What that ass do?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:13 PM
2

It seems like you would need to be with someone with the same degree as yours which would be very limiting, at least to me. I'm talking about a basic level of knowledge. Example: one of my favorite contemporary topics related to my field is decolonization. I don't mind explaining the details of that topic, but I'm not going to waste my time with someone who doesn't even have a grasp of colonization first, because they won't have a clue what I'm talking about. Again, that kind of thing is for stu…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:12 PM
1

I can't choose someone that doesn't present themselves as an option. You actually have to ask someone out if you want to date them. So which is it? Are these boys socialized or not? Because if they had female friends in grade school but suddenly lose them after puberty, I have to assume they fucked something up.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:05 PM
2

So..what am I missing then?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 10:03 PM
1

Why are you so shocked that a person, regardless of gender, wouldn't want to date or fuck someone they find unattractive? lol The fact that some of the men here will stick their dicks in anything warm and wet doesn't make that the standard anyone else should aspire to.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 09:44 PM
2

Okay...but did you talk about it? Or did you just let it go and try again the next time?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:48 PM
-1

The AF/BB is just the myth unwanted men invented to help explain their world....like early humans trying to figure out what thunder was. But hey I married a Chad so what do I know? 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:48 PM
7

*sex with you. FTFY.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:26 PM
13

Asexual people generally don't have sex. Try again lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:10 PM
8

? I'll argue with you if I please. How does not wanting to fuck you prove someone is asexual? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:08 PM
1

Why do you assume that all of my male friends were interested in dating me? They were all dating other people throughout high school lol You're the one who's focusing on puberty/post-puberty. Did you ever play with girl kids your age when you were in primary school?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:07 PM
1

Then you should have communicated that. Making assumptions is the worst thing you can do in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:05 PM
7

And that disproves my point...how?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:04 PM
5

What’s the difference between you explaining it and a college professor? That's the point. I explain shit for a living. Why would I want my dynamic with my partner to be the same as a student? Unless he's going to pay me tuition, of course lol But that hasn’t affected my ability to connect with women. Then I would assume you don't really care whether a woman is knowledgeable in your field of work. That's not the case for me. My career is a major part of my life. Does having a degree indicate tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 08:03 PM
11

Same. And even then, it's not lustful or arousing. It's like driving by a gorgeous house. "Holy shit, that looks awesome!" And then going about the rest of my day.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:10 PM
2

And so did you, despite the fact that you weren't getting what you wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:09 PM
1

Ok, so it sounds like she didn't really like you that much.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:07 PM
10

Excellent point. Ask anyone in their 30s whether they were really in love with whoever they dated when they were 16. Usually, it's driven entirely by sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:07 PM
2

It sounds like you just have issues with having women for friends, and for me, that's a red flag. I was friends with my husband for months before our first date.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:04 PM
2

Because the requirements are different. If a guy says he wants just sex, he just has to be attractive and not someone I wouldn't hang out with platonically. If he wants a relationship, he has to be that PLUS a bunch of other things I need in order to make a relationship worthwhile. Did you tell this girl you wanted to have sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:01 PM
65

Yeah, I'm struggling with this as well. And aren't men attracted only to certain women? I've had plenty of guys reject me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:59 PM
3

If you want to get laid more than you want to be honest, I can't help you. Guys like you are the reason why I make men wait when they say they're interested in a relationship lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:53 PM
2

But that's my point. You're reducing your interaction with girls to flirting. If you never learned how to speak to them as normal people, you'll always fail. I grew up with platonic friends who were boys, from at least kindergarten. That's the kind of socialization I'm talking about. You can't expect to skip that step, start talking to girls once you hit puberty, and expect success.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:52 PM
6

Where you lose me is the movie reference. Unless it's a documentary (and even then...), movies are fiction. If you're expecting a movie life, you will always be disappointed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:50 PM
3

Then say that. Let her know where you stand. But you do actually have to choose SOMETHING. I can't speak for other women, but what a guy claims to want is going to affect how I vet him.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:48 PM
3

I don't really care what job a guy has, so long as it's legal and keeps him financially independent (I make my own money and don't need to be supported). That being said, I have a graduate degree and want someone who is well-educated. I generally find it very difficult to discuss topics I'm interested in, or topics related to my career, with people who haven't even taken a college class in the subject. The other factor is that graduating from high school really doesn't mean much anymore, either …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:46 PM
2

The testimonies I've read say that it was quite painful for the women the first time they had sex after. But the bigger concern is that they're expected to begin having sex again immediately after giving birth. If a guy's dick split open like a banana and was stitched back up again, would he be wanting sex immediately after? I doubt it. And on a broader scale, it just shows a lack of bodily autonomy for women, and the belief that a woman's body is for the benefit of whatever men are in her life.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:42 PM
5

Of course. "Open to everything" just sounds like the guy is desperate for ANY sort of interaction with a woman. Why would I want to be the target of that?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:38 PM
1

I just have more experience with the opposite: people not getting treatment, letting their lives turn to shit, and then wondering why no one wants to be around them. I just cannot sympathize with it. It'd be like if someone told me they had cancer but weren't going to get treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:17 PM
1

I was already in shape. It's hard to pinpoint, but this probably started for me when I was in middle school. Puberty was initially blamed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:23 PM
3

Where did I say it's either-or? I said my husband is neither lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:20 PM
8

Um....no. We'd just rather fuck the guys who are clear with us on where we stand AND who actually look nice, than waste time with unattractive men. Also, very presumptuous to say that the average man meets all standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:19 PM
3

Where was I presenting a dichotomy?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:13 PM
2

Not in my experience. I've met more men who want a SAHM than women who want to be one.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:12 PM
5

Where did I say it was mainstream? I was remarking on your ignorance of the fact that it exists at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:11 PM
1

Were you homeschooled prior to high school? I was speaking to boys in kindergarten. I don't know why you're focusing solely on high school.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:10 PM
2

During childbirth, a woman's perineum commonly tears and has to be stitched up after. It was (is? Because usually it's done without the woman knowing) common practice for the doctor to make one stitch more than was medically necessary, to tighten up the opening to the vagina. It's called the husband stitch because...well, it's for the husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:09 PM
2

It's not an issue of trust. I just think allowing someone to have that kind of control over your life makes you more like a child. Making my own decisions is one of the things I love about being an adult. Plus, my experience is that decision-making is a muscle that will atrophy when not used. Regardless of the quality of their husbands' decision-making, I've watched grown women struggle with the most basic shit when they're either divorced or widowed. Imagine being unable to choose a grocery sto…

No catcalls or harassment and generally left the fuck alone in public/at work? Sign me up, bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:37 AM

Yep, I could never be that woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:34 AM

At my school, those were the same people. And I am speaking of the early 2000s, as that was when I was in high school.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 07:33 AM
1

Right, but I'm assuming he'd want her to agree to this because she actually thinks it's a good idea...not because she has an agreeable disposition and just doesn't want to make a fuss.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:10 AM
1

...big yikes.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:08 AM
0

I was in the nerd group. Theater, improv, band, choir, speech and debate, that thing they do with the flags, etc. All co-ed activities, and everyone was dating and fucking each other. The men you describe are the nerds who shun nerd girls. And being a nerd is not an excuse to be asocial.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:07 AM
2

My experience is that they're more likely gonna cheat, period, and they want an agreeable woman who won't ask questions about how they spend their time lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:04 AM
1

Oh ok. Your thing seems more like a state of mind. Mine was a definite chemical imbalance. I would know exactly how to handle a situation rationally and calmly. I simply couldn't make the decision to do so. Even when I was suicidal, it was never because I wanted to die. It felt like a compulsion, almost like something else was trying to kill me. I think that's why meds work so well for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:48 AM
1

But again...you're the one still accepting the situation in general. You just want something beyond their word lol I could respect your position if you were saying you'd never have kids. But you're not.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:45 AM
1

Oh see I can't speak to rehab. My dad is also an alcoholic, but that's the only addict I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:38 AM

I think Trevor Noah's snake charmer routine is awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:37 AM
5

...for the guy. Usually it causes a lot of issues for the girl lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:37 AM
1

I don't want kids because I have no interest in going through a pregnancy. The finances didn't influence my decision. Kids could be 100% free and I still wouldn't want one.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:36 AM
2

Interesting. I've always kind of marveled at that dynamic.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:34 AM
4

Speak for yourself, my husband loves it. But then again, he's not one of the men who needs women to be oppressed in order to be successful lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:28 AM
6

But wouldn't that fall under being disagreeable?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:27 AM
3

Medication allows me to lead the life I want to lead. I still remember the first day I took it...something happened that normally would have sent me into an anxiety attack, but I didn't. I was just so blown away by being able to think clearly, not immediately jumping to whether I should just kill myself, etc. I remembered thinking "Holy shit, this is fantastic!" lol Conversely, my dad has two failed suicide attempts under his belt and refuses any sort of treatment. It's one of the main reasons w…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:26 AM
2

True. I know a few couples who have the leader-subordinate dynamic. Those men have earned it by doing WAY more than making lots of money and having dicks. Ironically, the men here would probably call them "betas" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:06 AM
6

BINGO.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:04 AM
2

See, you lost me there. ADHD seriously impacts my life, and my husband has type 2 bipolar and was on the verge of losing his job before he got treated. I'd much rather be less emotional than have my life collapse all around me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 04:01 AM
4

Well that was the main issue with it (and still is): it's done without the woman's consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:57 AM
3

I don't know that it's required... but I'm a big fan of preventative care in mental health as much as it's already pushed in physical health.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:55 AM
3

True, but where I grow concerned is when people who clearly have a problem don't get treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:53 AM
4

Agreed. When I think about being lonely, that's a lack of ALL types of relationships. For example, I'd be very wary of dating a guy who doesn't have solid friendships with other guys. The other aspect is basic mental healthcare. In my experience, men are far less likely to take their mental health seriously. I think they complain about not having a partner, when they should really be in search of a therapist.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:40 AM
1

I like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:37 AM
3

The bit about anti-depressants. That's like someone complaining about a rise in diagnoses of autism. How we classify medical conditions changes (to say nothing of biases against women in healthcare...see: the husband stitch).
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:37 AM
7

Damn, I'm one of the resident misandrists and you have an even lower opinion of men than I do lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:35 AM
3

And if your partner disagrees?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:34 AM
13

I see it as ridiculous, but I'm not the kind of person who's ever wanted a relationship (or sex) until I meet someone I want it with. I don't view relationships as tools for fixing your life. They're meant to enhance a life that is already wonderful. I also grew up with a fantastic example of a single mother who left a bad marriage and went on to have a wonderful life with no partner in sight. Not to say it was flawless...but none of the problems she had were due to being single. I've been with …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:33 AM
11

14 years this winter!* *the whole relationship, not just the marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:28 AM
22

"Rules for thee, not for me" is pretty common in either direction. Your standards are only going to be as effective as your willingness to be single rather than make exceptions. I can confidently say that any man who doesn't meet all my standards would make my life worse than if I were single. If someone can't say the same thing, they should reassess. EDIT: I'll also add that people fail when they begin blaming others for not meeting those standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:25 AM
5

Men who expect to be the leader in their relationship should be focusing on finding a woman who AGREES, rather than is agreeable.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:23 AM
3

I checked your comments and can see why. Your grasp of history is tenuous.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:22 AM
4

Same. Pretty sure finding that in my husband is why I've stayed with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:21 AM
11

My husband isn't submissive. But he isn't one of those macho dudes who thinks women should be seen and not heard, either. We're equals to each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:20 AM
1

The reverse of the way you describe a woman as uncompromising, I suppose. When I hear a guy complain about a woman being unpleasant, disagreeable, etc. my experience is that they want a woman who will not challenge them in any capacity.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:19 AM
1

I agree, but from my experience, men who complain about independent women want just that: the giving up of principles.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:17 AM
16

I do. But I also expect my partner to treat me as his equal, not his subordinate. I've had enough bad experiences with men in the leadership role to not trust one who demands it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:15 AM
15

Clearly, half your family isn't Southern Baptist lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:14 AM
6

So how do you make decisions?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:12 AM
21

Are dominant men somehow more cooperative and friendly? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:11 AM
1

Should we expect men who have a problem with said type of woman to be compromising? That hasn't been the case in my experience (also evidenced by some of the comments here).
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:10 AM
16

From my perspective, men who demand a role of leadership in a relationship are also uncompromising, rude, and unpleasant.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:09 AM
1

Again, no...?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:01 AM
9

Then men should also start choosing their partners more wisely. Women are not obligated to fix this problem for you. Men could have chosen a trait other than resource provision for what they can offer to a woman, but they didn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 03:00 AM
1

Yes, which is why I wouldn't do it. You want to do it and then make your insecurity about it someone else's problem lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:15 AM
0

And there's your answer. I'd never put myself in the situation of being asked to begin with. If you want kids to continue your fabulous bloodline, that's your struggle to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:13 AM
0

It's kind of a useless question, since I don't want kids and would abort any pregnancy I have, regardless of paternity lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:09 AM
11

You're the one who brought up women's rights lol I'm looking for ways in which your rights are being infringed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:08 AM
25

I've met some women who are conservative in their relationships, and I know the background of where they're coming from. Like them, I was raised with the message that women are inferior to men, incompetent, etc. Unlike them, I eventually stopped agreeing (possibly because I only ever received that message from my dad's side of the family). What's always heartbreaking is when those women are dumped or divorced (pretty common in my experience, as the kind of man who likes submissive women wants to…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:07 AM
0

And I would totally believe you IF you hadn't said this previously: Very easy for you to say, since you'll never have to have that level of trust, or vulnerability. Your standards are your own to enforce, and you sound as idiotic as if the positions were reversed and I was talking about the fact that I don't want kids and, therefore, would be mad about a guy I'm seeing having a kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:59 AM
0

As I said earlier, it's because you seem to think everyone else has to accommodate your issues. If you want a woman who will support a paternity test, then find one. No woman is required to agree to it, just like no one is required to sign a prenup.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:46 AM
5

And how exactly are you being kept from doing this? What law is preventing you from being nice, getting a dead end job, and having consensual sex once a week?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:42 AM
19

And as such, men have absolutely zero leverage to work with, because outside of being hot, everything else is easily interchangeable. ....so men are mad because women are treating them like...well, women lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:30 AM
1

I'm thinking we're working from different definitions of "trust."

Eh, not every man (or woman) is looking for a relationship. The issue is when both people aren't on the same page. I did find it cringe when a guy I hooked up with tried to date me after, and then threw a tantrum when I said no.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:20 AM
5

What? Starting in middle school, my friend group was 50/50. And I'd only ever date a guy I was friends with first. If you didn't grow up making friends of the opposite sex, though, I don't know what to tell you. It seems like something you should have been taught as part of proper socializing.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:10 AM
3

Thinking back to that age, I would have found it strange. The only people I knew who were virgins at 21 were purity culture types, and they wouldn't have wanted me anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 12:07 AM
5

I've only ever enjoyed it when it was an abusive one.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 10:56 PM
3

Only someone with severely low self-esteem could see that as validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 09:11 PM
2

That's an incredibly low level of validation. A guy I fuck casually is as valued by me as my vibrator.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:51 PM
2

Depending on the situation, I don't believe in "mistakes." People generally are exactly who they show themselves to be. A person who describes behaviors as "mistakes" is just making excuses for themselves. Being ethical is not actually that difficult, assuming you genuinely believe in your ethical code. It's one of the reasons why I avoid religious people: their code is externally imposed. And I'm not seeing how that's an issue of trust.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:51 PM
1

Okay, then do that. Just be ready for if she ever finds out.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:36 PM
0

Too old for me. I'll only date someone 4 years older.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:35 PM
1

Ok, then demand a paternity test. Just don't complain about the state of the relationship after.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:32 PM
3

How is it incorrect? Have you ever listened to a guy talk about the women they fuck casually? It's one thing if you believe sex should always happen in a committed relationship. As a general rule, I have no problem with casual sex. And I enjoy sex. But I don't use it as a barometer for how much someone loves me. The guys here will be the first to say that they'll fuck any warm, willing hole that comes along. That's not love, and I don't see how they can think that warm, willing hole loves them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:30 PM
2

That's not an issue of trust, though. If he ever expected me to financially support him, I'd just leave. Similarly, he'd kick me out if I ever expected him to financially support me. The house and bills are all in his name alone. None of my choices have been based on an assumption about future behavior. You seem to confuse trust with "I promise nothing bad is going to happen ever" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:27 PM
0

Your argument would make sense if we combined our finances in any context lol In your example, both are an outcome of the same act: her fucking someone else. If you can trust her not to cheat in one context, you have no excuse for not trusting her in others.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:20 PM
3

So...you trust her not to cheat, but you don't trust her enough to think an outcome of cheating won't happen lol Which is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:09 PM
1

That's pretty ridiculous. As a woman, I was taught right off the bat that love and sex are not the same, and that a guy equating it as such is just trying to get in my pants lol At bare minimum, a guy cannot be dumb enough to think that a casual sex partner loves him.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:07 PM
2

Again, the issue is with the lenders and not him. And "financial vulnerability" is not a default state for a relationship, unlike sexual fidelity.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:59 PM
3

This presumes he doesn't still need a vehicle. Public transit is horrendous in our city. I wouldn't have a car if I didn't need to. And I'm "lecturing" you because you seem to blame others for YOUR inability to trust. That's entirely on you. No one is required to accommodate that. You already admitted that there is no woman in existence who you'd trust to be faithful, yet you're still willing to have a child with them anyway...and you think they should make space for that lol If I thought I coul…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:35 PM
6

Why do you assume the only way he'd default on a loan is through irresponsibility? He certainly couldn't afford it if he ended up on disability, for example. Is my husband supposed to promise me that he'll never have health issues or get into an accident? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:27 PM
2

No, thankfully she got out after just a few years. I'm thinking about my stepmom. Lots of abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:19 PM
3

It's not an issue of trust. When you get married, your finances become legally intertwined even if they aren't practically (we don't have shared accounts and split shared expenses 50/50, but that's not going to matter to a lender if, say, he defaults on the loan for his car). We're trying to circumvent lenders, not each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:17 PM
3

I'd much prefer not being loved. I've seen what being loved as property does to someone long-term.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:12 PM
3

We both wanted the prenup to keep from being responsible for each other's debts. We don't have and don't want kids lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:11 PM
4

Given your obvious issues, something tells me your bloodline is not that valuable lol Then go for it. Just don't be shocked when she treats you with the same lack of trust. Like attracts like.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:05 PM
3

Great question. I'm not bothering with the replies, but I'm sure they're saying some bullshit about wanting to be loved and desired (which is hilarious since what they care about is sex).
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:04 PM
4

So. Don't. Do. It. You know not all women want or can even have kids, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:57 PM
5

I'm married with a prenup lol In my opinion, you have serious trust issues. You're not fit for any type of relationship, let alone a marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:49 PM
2

Then you shouldn't be entering into said commitment with anyone. Problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:44 PM
5

Since when do men give good dating advice to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:33 PM
1

That doesn't sound like trust to me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:30 PM
1

The only men I hate are the ones who try to blame their gender identity for being assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:29 PM
4

...I don't think you know what "binary" means. It doesn't mean that you always trust the right people.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:26 PM
3

I hate my body and like it more when it's clothed. It's gotten better over the years, though...like now I can wear shorts to bed and not care if my legs are hairy
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 02:54 PM
7

If you feel the need to get a paternity test to begin with, the relationship is already over.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 02:34 PM
15

Plenty of factors go into whether I trust a guy. I'm not sure what the difference is. And I don't see how trust isn't binary. You either trust someone, or you don't. I've always trusted my husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 01:01 PM
31

I don't see how this is an existential issue. Don't date women you don't trust. If you're already having anxiety over whether the kid she just gave birth to is yours, you don't trust her and, in my opinion, the relationship is already irreparable. And you should demand a paternity test.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 12:36 PM
1

"Basement dwelling neckbeard" describes behavior as much as appearance. How often are you in social situations where you meet new people?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 12:32 PM
1

And a lot of men demand traditional women despite being unable to fulfill their role as traditional men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 12:31 PM
6

Consent applies in relationships, too. The people you speak of are probably mad spousal rape was criminalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 04:46 AM
-2

I have yet to meet a guy who could absolutely not land any woman who DIDN'T look like one. All the ones who complain and look good are picky, but they don't take ownership of their standards. Instead, they blame others for not meeting them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 04:44 AM
0

Sure, but that's a bit different than actually reciprocating said interest....or pursuing someone herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 10:35 PM
9

Stick with women who are cool with being treated that way...? Either you care about quantity, or quality. That's your choice. But whatever you choose is going to affect what type of woman you attract. Don't go for quantity and then whine when she does the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 10:23 PM
1

Ope, disqualified. I don't date anyone more than two years younger or four years older.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 08:56 PM
2

Do you have or want kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 07:47 PM
1

My judgments are generally focused on my own standards. I wouldn't date most of my guy friends, but they've had no problem finding women who would.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 06:52 PM
1

It's a very very long list.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 06:46 PM
3

Anyone who doesn't meet all my standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 06:02 PM
1

I'd have to meet all first...but I'd say that 80% of women meet my standards, whereas maybe 10% of men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:49 PM
1

You're confusing "great for dating" with "great overall," and "romantic love" with "basic decency due all humans." I see his a lot with the men here, and I'm not sure why. A guy could be a literal saint, and I'd still consider him a shitty partner if he didn't meet all my standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:44 PM
0

I see men as less ethical on average. I don't deny their humanity. I just don't think their humanity compensates for how shitty they can be.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:15 PM
0

And that's fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:06 PM
1

Nah, men are just more likely to exhibit traits I find repulsive: aggression, stoicism, not taking their health seriously (especially mental), etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:06 PM
1

Like speaking to me for reasons that have nothing to do with his penis lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:04 PM
3

Of course. I married one. But very few men have the qualities that inspire love. As the TikTok phrase for bisexuals goes: I love women...and I love ONE man.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 04:32 PM
3

I don't see how it's self-pitying. I've long believed that the men who struggle today would only be successful if women went back to being more financially dependent on men. I think men who recognize this are smart.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 04:21 PM
2

Damn, you're cool with guns but not drag queens?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 04:12 PM
2

I wouldn't be in that position to begin with. If we aren't exclusive, it's generally one-and-done.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 03:18 PM
1

Pretty much this.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 03:13 PM
-2

Yeah, when he sees I'm on Reddit he asks if I'm tormenting the incels again lol He doesn't have a high opinion of anything manosphere-adjacent.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 03:38 AM
1

RP men have a lower opinion of men than any feminist I've ever met.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 02:05 AM
4

Nah, I like men who show their emotions. My experience is that when they don't, they weren't raised properly.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 02:05 AM
5

This sub actually makes me appreciate my husband more, because there are so many shitty men here and I'm thrilled I found one of the good ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 02:04 AM
2

Nah, my spidey senses are tingling at this too. I'm shocked they'd allow him to visit her, unless he knows her in some other context. I'm glad your dad reported it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 02:02 AM
1

Speak for yourself, my life has been vastly improved by spending more time with hot TikTok girls 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:27 PM
2

Most people aren't casual fucking material.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:26 PM
1

And I responded to that one lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 08:00 PM

That gyno needs to be fired lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:36 PM
3

Clauses beginning with "which" generally modify the noun they immediately follow. They don't modify actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:36 PM

Who the fuck thinks that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:32 PM

I work in a field arguably dominated by women (based on who occupies management) and I'm still a feminist lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:31 PM

a career (which otherwise competent women usually arent interested in)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:28 PM

How are competent women not interested in careers?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:24 PM

Hard pass, unless he's also fingering me at the same time.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 06:15 PM
3

Well it maybe helps that I'm pansexual...so rubbing a clit turns me on just as much as having my clit rubbed lol I imagine if you're a straight guy, the thought of touching a dick isn't that hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:07 PM
3

Nope. It's like asking me what I visualize when I scratch an itch. I don't need to imagine someone else doing it for it to be pleasurable.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 03:46 PM
1

Well I don't want kids so...zero.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 03:17 PM
3

You yourself sound a bit naive and inexperienced at sex. This post is actually a great example of why sluts of ANY gender are superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 01:06 PM
8

Imagine thinking that a woman's normal sexuality is what she does for the viewing pleasure of men...
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 12:36 PM
7

This is the best description ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:29 PM
5

I do treat myself right. Sex is for orgasms. That's it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:50 PM
6

Fuck that, I got shit to do lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:38 PM
20

I don't fantasize. I just go until the orgasm lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:37 PM
3

Or she's worried that these new guys will turn out just like her ex and is being extra picky. This is what I did.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:02 PM
1

Right, but the argument is that they AREN'T getting what they want out of it in any situation. I love the work I do at my job. I get paid to do shit I used to do for free. That doesn't mean every customer I deal with is amazing. So is the problem for men the work, or the customers?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:32 PM
1

Isn't the central argument that dating women sucks, regardless of the woman you're dating? If it's just about particular women, there's no reason to complain that much. Just don't date those particular women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:30 PM
1

But in the dynamic you describe, men aren't the employees...they're the customers. If a restaurant has shitty service, I won't go back. If ALL restaurants have shitty service, I'll cook.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:02 AM
2

Who said I dislike being here? If sex is such a need, certainly you can't afford to have a "type." I don't like onions, but I'd eat one over starving to death.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:00 AM
1

True, but we're talking about a completely different dynamic: service in exchange for payment. As someone in a public-facing job, I imagine many of the basic customer service rules still exist. (This is also assuming a situation where the sex worker is working willingly, obviously)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:59 AM
5

It's one thing to see something (or someone) as difficult. It's quite another to clearly think of someone as lesser than, but still want to be around them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:47 AM
1

I don't consider posting online to be on par socially with dating lol If all you want to do is fuck someone, hire a sex worker. And masturbation does the trick for me. An orgasm is an orgasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:43 AM
3

Tell my dad to get better at killing himself, then. Two attempts, two failures lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:40 AM
1

...DO sex workers hate the Johns they fuck? That seems like an assumption you can't prove, any more than you can prove that every server hates every customer they bring food to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:39 AM
2

I don't think all men are bad. If I felt the same way about men that y'all do about women, I wouldn't be married to one. I like women, too, so they're just as viable of an option. And if we're talking about the difficulties of dating, the only confusion I saw from women was focused on why men are such masochists. If you're lonely, make friends. If you want a kid, adopt or hire a surrogate. If you're horny, grab a fleshlight and some lube. No need to involve us at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:30 AM
1

It's entertaining. None of the men here sound entertained, however.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:15 AM
-1

The women I know who think all men are shitty gave up on them in their 20s. Can you be as smart as they are? Or will your dicks get the better of you? (Also can't speak about work. My job is fucking awesome, and I support a UBI)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:22 AM
8

When a person goes to a party and complains about the music, the guests, the food, the booze, etc. I just tell them to leave. Same energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:21 AM
11

If dating women sucks so much...just stop. (You're welcome)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:06 AM
3

Yeah...but I'm atheist so it won't matter anyway lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:05 AM
3

Should we offer them our thoughts and prayers?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:03 AM
5

Yup. Can you imagine hating something as much as these dudes hate women and STILL willingly being around it? Yet we're the irrational gender 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 03:57 AM
1

A little.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 03:55 AM
4

You need a reason to party? Wtf.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 03:55 AM
7

The better question is: if dating women is so horrendous, why don't they stop?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 03:53 AM
1

Then they should date only them and leave the rest of us alone ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 02:41 AM
-1

If she's not fucking someone else while in the relationship, what's the issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 01:24 AM
2

Daily reminder that those men are trash anyway lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 01:13 AM
1

Nothing is stopping men from wearing makeup. Contour!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 01:08 AM
3

My husband is as helpful to me as he is to everyone else. I do find chivalry a turn-off, because it's basically saying "I wanna fuck you so I'm going to be nice to you."
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 11:24 PM
1

So again...don't date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:48 PM
1

You're not entitled to one lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:40 PM
15

Yeah... none of that is an excuse to lash out.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:40 PM
3

I just get revolted at the lack of respect for someone else's choice. They don't want you. They aren't required to want you, regardless of what you do. Move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 07:45 PM
1

Then only date women who do the work. Problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 07:40 PM
1

Then men should stop doing the work...? I don't get what's so hard about this lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 07:31 PM
2

Whether you do the work depends on how much you actually want what the work produces.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 07:23 PM
2

Didn't seem like it. I'd say they were with someone 90% of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 06:56 PM
0

80% of what work?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 06:23 PM

I am extremely thankful my current employer cares more about safety and well-being at work than you apparently care for your employees. How often do your clients include people on drugs or in mental health crises? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:41 PM
6

I think a lot of my guy friends are unattractive. They still managed to all get married by their 30s lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:31 PM
5

I don't consider this socializing with friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:25 PM
2

A lot of my preferences have changed. I decided I didn't want kids, so I started eliminating guys who did (or already had them). As I got older, I became more interested in living in urban areas, so I stopped dating guys who clearly wanted to live in rural areas or the suburbs. I'm not seeing what the difference is between a "preference" and a "priority." The bottom line is, you're deciding you won't date someone who is/isn't X.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:13 PM
1

Sure, but the question is whether it's as horrible as the men here are saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:56 PM

Ok...speaking as someone with a public-facing job: DO NOT DO THIS. I'm getting paid to help you, not be your friend. It comes across as you abusing the position I'm in as an employee. I cannot just ignore you, walk away, or tell you to fuck off. Normally, it's boomers who do this, and I would hope that younger people don't see themselves as so entitled. And this is doubly true when it is obviously flirting (I've had dudes turn into stalkers at work after they gave me their number and I just igno…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:55 PM
2

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:51 PM
13

Yup, my friend (a woman) asked a guy out and he didn't give her a straight yes/no answer but has still been acting flirty and she's just confused as fuck. If I took some of the things she's said and just posted them here, you'd assume it was an RP dude bitching about women lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:45 PM
13

Well that's kind of my point...the guys here don't just seem like bad options for dating or sex. Given the type of people I enjoy socializing with, they just seem bad overall. They're bitter and misanthropic, have horrendous views of women generally, and seem like they never learned to socialize. No one wants to hang out with someone like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:42 PM
6

Well if we're talking exceptions and not rules...I know only one guy who has been unsuccessful when it comes to dating lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:36 PM

I loathe small talk, whether or not a guy is using it to flirt. I don't know why some people can't just sit or stand in silence and not engage everyone around them. That being said, the ratio of men to women who try to make small talk with me is like 10:1. So yes, I will assume it's because they're just trying to get in my pants.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:34 PM
9

Anything. I know women who were desperate and settled because they wanted to be married and making babies by 22. And I know men who have high standards and have turned down women more often than not.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:26 PM

I know of only two people who have done online dating. So to me, it seems like it's only applicable to people who would consider online dating to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:22 PM
1

Definitely purpose-driven. Worrying about status just makes them sound like they're stuck in a high school mentality where they need to be seen as "cool."
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:19 PM
10

I'm sure it's hard for the men here. But I don't think it has anything to do with gender. None of them appear to be "catches" in the slightest, so the notion that their inability to get sex or relationships is because of other people seems silly.

Sure, but you still need something beyond that.

If I described someone as being unable to communicate or not knowing what they want, my friends would think I'm insane for dating them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:15 PM

Yes, and you're missing the obvious reason why someone isn't relationship material: they say they don't want to date me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:26 AM

Lying about what you want from a person =/= emotionally vulnerable.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:25 AM

...what? lol

We like sex. We also want sex. But unless you're trying to make a baby, sex is just for orgasms. What you have to convince us of is that sex with you will actually be more enjoyable than just staying at home with our vibrators. Most of you seriously fail at even the convincing, to say nothing of actually BEING worthwhile.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:21 AM

U mad?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:19 AM

And you're the one going through my comment history. So glad I've upset you :)

Hotness does not guarantee orgasm.

No, I would say you should get some self-respect and not spend time dating women you don't actually want.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:17 AM

True, it's like they have some weird timeline in their head where if you didn't fall in love by your 30s, you're never going to.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:16 AM

As a general rule, if I fuck someone casually, it's because I already ruled them out for a relationship. Aside from basic consent, what they want out of the interaction is irrelevant.

Who cares if I don't want to marry a man who gives a fuck about whose dick I suck when we aren't even together?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:12 AM
1

Yes, but I'm pansexual. A woman is just as much of an option for me as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:12 AM

This works from the presumptions that: Men don't want to marry women they'd fuck casually Women don't want to casually fuck men they'd marry Either way, this reads like you've never actually had casual sex.

Did Chad try to date me, or was he upfront about just wanting sex? Men seem to think that what the guy says he wants has no bearing on what women choose to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:04 PM

They're more than welcome to hate me. People who generalize to an entire gender are idiots. If I hated men as much as they hate women, I sure as fuck wouldn't be married to one.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:54 PM

It could be an epiphany for some. I always knew I didn't want to get married until I was older.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:48 PM

Depends on the sort of love. Men tend to get love and lust mixed up, in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:32 PM
2

Damn, way to revive an ancient conversation lol Yes, anyone who "falls in love" because they nutted with someone is an idiot. Gender is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:32 PM

Abbreviation wasn't the issue. Flat-out incorrect information was. People who try to personify evolution and give it some sort of intent are merely uneducated.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:30 PM

Men assume that women value sex as much as they do. It's weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:28 PM
1

Yes, that'd fall under "who you actually want to be with" lol I'm talking about someone who chooses who to fuck or date based on how OTHERS will perceive their choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:23 PM

Ditto :)

That'd be an interesting quip if I didn't know grammar...or what "lol" stands for.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 07:06 AM

Oh, well that wouldn't bother me because it's largely true. I'm very into politics and social issues. I'd much rather discuss those things than your average small talk topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 07:04 AM

I would just assume they don't care...? Women can be sexist and racist, too. I grew up with a few lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 07:03 AM
1

Gotcha.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 06:37 AM
1

I sort of get that. I also wouldn't want to be with someone who got mad that I asked, even if they otherwise agreed with me. So in either case, I'd see it as a bullet dodged.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 06:36 AM
12

The women I know will just call them assholes and leave it at that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 06:35 AM
1

Well unless they'd be the target of said racism (which is what you could be saying), I don't see why they'd have to watch their backs. Maybe it's because I'm totally ignorant of Greek life, but what constitutes a frat being known for racism or sexism? I got sexually assaulted in a Walmart when I was a kid, but I don't think that means Walmart supports sexual assault lol

As someone who has had multiple mall jobs: no.

If I cared about the feelings of any man in any of those categories, I'm sure I'd care. Incels, RP, Proud Boys, PUAs, etc. Beyond avoiding the fuck out them, they're irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:51 AM

I've only ever heard the phrase "real man" used by other men (often in an obviously homophobic or transphobic context).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:45 AM
1

Well that sounds like a separate issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:44 AM

We're talking about women you're just meeting. If it matters that much to you, why wouldn't you ask upfront?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:43 AM
1

Is there a character limit here I was unaware of? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:40 AM

Am I supposed to feel sorry for them? That's like saying I turned someone homophobic because I'm pansexual and was rude to them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:40 AM
1

Again...who is asking them to do that? I was merely correcting your perception that feminists don't like talking about feminism on dates.

Evolution itself is not a force, though, with or without agency.

I'd probably call them out on it.

If I was so beholden to biology, my life would have been more like my great-grandmother's: married at 14, first pregnancy at 16, and a total of 20 live births lol

When I was shopping for colleges, I chose one without any fraternities or sororities because I thought all Geek life was shit. I hadn't heard anything about particular ones. So my initial thought is: are you sure they actually know?

God isn't real, and biology is not a person.
