Hello OP, this literally happened to me too… I went through w the wedding anyway, despite everyone telling me to call it off… I told myself “well I spent $xx,xxx on the wedding that’s non-refundable…. And I’m in love…” 3 years later I was divorced because the cheating NEVER stopped. I know it sucks… but trust me, canceling a wedding is cheaper and easier than a nasty divorce… ESPECIALLY if years down the road you add children to this difficult decision. My advice? I say Cancel it, get counseling…

Super rough patch. I had lost my job, two weeks later things got even worse. I Had suicidal thoughts after i saw my current wife get me banned from my home after i caught her cheating. (She called the police and told them i threatened to kill her and our son. Wow. Story of the last 8 years of my life. Only diff is i only had one kid, not 2. Hang in there. Work out. Find a few side hustles. Get into the church and don’t ever put your “value” on your ability to be a Husband/Provider again. Your value isn’t about your patience; or ability to provide. Stay strong brother.

Watch the documentary on YouTube by the same name. It’s an allegory from Philip K Dicks short story “They remember it for you wholesale.” This story was used as the source material of the 1990 film Total Recall and was the first time it made an appearance (take the red pill and wake up versus take the blue pill and stay sleep.
