I wouldn't make it an overarching statement to apply it to everyone who is abused. There are abused people who lash out, there are abused people who don't. There are non abused people who lash out, there are non abused people who don't.

Shout out to Moira for making the PDF version! Very aesthetically pleasing! (Wtf I posted this on the handbook post and it's somehow moved to here?)

When I saw that post on the front page I instinctively came here to make sure the pickmeishaness is called out. You all are way ahead of me.

Just wanted to share this gem of an article clapping back at the guy who made it.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I don't care about context, I can imagine it can be mildly triggering to people whose been in bad relationships. FDS is definitely not some random guy forcefully grabbing my face. I just can't laugh at that.

That's actually so true. LVMs have dragged the baseline and expectation so low that now we're here praising men who are just doing his basic share in a relationship.

> You can't go around and talk about "people this, people that" and generalize experience of all people. You don't see the irony there? As for grimreapersdtr Yes I remember you. YOU got snippy at everyone, including myself, for giving you suggestions and trying to help you. You were rude as hell to everyone who took the time to comment on your post and people withdrew from it and stopped being nice to you because of that. I can even pull up the deleted thread if you want to start with me. Stop d…

Nobody on this thread agrees with your view. You don't know how manipulative an abusive person is, you lack knowledge about coercive control tactics that they implement to keep them in such dynamics. You have zero understanding about realities of abusive situations and the severity it can go to. You need to stop using your feelings about your mother and father's relationships to define everyone else's situations. I am no longer replying to you, and hope the mods have enough sense to take your cr…

" You said you were naïve but it was your choice to choose the man like that, isn't it?"Yeah, that's victim blaming. Everyone report this person.

Holy crap, just report this content. You're disgusting for victim blaming people who are in abusive situations, and your comment shows you have zero understanding or empathy towards such people. Just no. Your view of it is way too simplistic. You don't have the credentials to be giving any advice to people in domestic abuse situations. Be gone.

I notice this sub sometimes have these "hobby bashing posts" that often are not hobbies unique to LVMs...and it's a bit annoying to see it. Sports are things any guy can be into whether LVM or HVM or anywhere in between. And people who aren't into sports aren't necessarily not LVMs either. I mean it's fine to have hobby preferences, but it's not automatically LVM thing if you don't like it or if you happen to know a LVM who participates in it.

I hope she didn't go back to live with that guy. That video is from 2013...I wonder how she's doing now. I read a lot on abuse, and it seems like a lot of abusers are charismatic and nice and love-bombing in the beginning (of course, if they weren't you'd be out of there earlier I'd hope). Be careful out there everyone. A lot of abusers are high level manipulators and are not always obvious to point out.

Not only do some women do this, but they also turn around to say you're shitting on them and play the victim if you call them out, and just go deeper into their pickmeisha-hood. The manipulative behavior is unreal. Its' not even the same obviously since their end goal is to try to win some approval of some stupid guys, while calling it out is just me placing boundaries for some basic human respect. Like I had a woman in my last workplace like this. Slagging me and spreading weird rumors from day…

Is competition between women something that can realistically go away or is it like intrinsic to our primal monkey brains? A result of being in a patriarchal environments? Does anybody have any info on this? Like obviously women can be friends and supporters, but sometimes I've seen enough women try to drag another women to almost want to give up on the very idea that it is possible for all of us to get along. Such as in your post. Sorry kind of off tangent...but I hate that women make it harder…

It's definitely a false equivalence. Incels stand for involuntary celibate. They are people who never been in a relationship. Their frustrations are mostly about lack of sex and female attention. FDS is not an equivalent because our frustration is not lack of sex or male attention, but rather lack of quality relationships and about setting higher standards and boundaries to protect ourselves from bad ones. Redpillers are people who hate that women have the choice in having boundaries and standar…

I don't want to say "Oh I'm so grateful I had those bad experiences" because it almost make it sounds like I owe it to an LVM for becoming better, which I don't. It makes it sound like they made me, which they didn't. It is NOT thanks to meeting an LVM that I have better mindset. It is thanks to meeting people, such as some on here, who have really great self esteem and healthy boundaries and people who value themselves who have helped me to be better about that, and I coudl've met that without …

I would not even say that's "good intention." That's just misogynistic bullshit men say to not take responsibility for their behaviors and to make it all the women's fault. It's the same shit you hear used against rape victims. It's disgusting logic and you have every right to be infuriated by it.

> I feel like they tolerate more I think that mentality is the issue more than just appearance. Whether you are pretty or average you can end up in shit relationships if you think your value is so low that you just let people treat you less because you fear being alone or not finding another. I mean, models and celebrities and really gorgeous people can even get into abusive relationships, being cheated on, among other things. Scummy men will be scummy men, and the only thing protecting you is m…

Oh okay. I just realized I can see everyone else's user flair if I log out, but I can only see mine and nobody else's when I'm logged in (henceforth why I thought I was like one of the few newbs here) so guess that explains that.

Why would you believe that a guy who is low enough to make up a story about cheating didn't bring any other issues into the relationship? Like...why are you sticking up for him?

How do you level up from the new FDS member tag? Do you have to have a certain number of comments/posts/karma from this sub or is it determined by the length of time you've used it? I don't see a lot of other people with the tag so jw.

Yeah. They think if a women hits them first, they get to beat them to the ground with 100 times the force. That is equality to these neanderthals (not that I condone women hitting men either but clearly if a guy's first though on equality is about hitting people, then clearly he has issues).

Check OP's history. They just posted a comment on MGTOW saying, " FDS are mostly unwanted women, black women etc. they’re literally the worst women for the most part." Not sure what you're trying to do, but it's strange.

I know people who are housewives/stay at home moms and gets most or even all of their financial situations taken care of by their man (but they still have say in financial decisions), and I don't think it's always subservient. A man who goes to length to take care of their wife in that way seems HVM to me in some circumstances. Although that's a risky move to not have your own financial income as a back up in case things goes awry. Although the way she wrote it sounds like she just wants to be a…

Before I get to the topic, I jsut want to say that two years ago I spent Valentines with my then bf, where I paid for the meal with giftcards I received to a really nice fine dining place that I have been saving for a really special occasion (I thought this would be one, and to me it was a big deal since I don't go to fancy places like that). He proceeded to complain about the meal and not make any effort for any conversation, not even compliment on the outfit I spent extra money and time to put…

Reading things like this confirms that my dad is not a HVM. Seeing good examples of HVM is always helpful for those of us who didn't grow up with it. LVM fathers are the worst. Goes without say, but these are people who should never have children.

I see. I actually wasn't sure about how it is for the US, and looked into it, and apparently there are some states where jail is the punishment for revenge porn. A few states have even classed it as a felony with up to 5 years in prison apparently, which is pretty great. Now if only the rest of the states can catch up to that level it would be super great.

> I have a friend who was fired from her job because her photos were leaked and distributed without her knowledge or consent, but it reflected poorly on her company and the clients submitted complaints, so she was let go. It absolutely should not have happened, was deeply humiliating, and put her in a financially, emotionally and mentally damaging situation. It's so disgusting that we live in a society where we're still punishing women for this. I really don't see why guys shouldn't be sent to j…

Raise your hand if your family fucked you up in conditioning you to be this way. Family can set the tone for a large amount of bull you forgive or tolerate in future relationships. It's such a huge disadvantage and unlearning all of it is a struggle.
