What? Telling kids "most people grow up to like the opposite gender, a few like the same gender, both are fine" is totally harmless, and is certainly not going to spontaneously turn anyone gay.

Oh boy, sorry I'd rather not give up my interesting and high paying job for incredible benefits such as "men holding doors open for me" and "men fighting wars for me" (?) while I act my "natural" role as their broodmare. Your reply has definitely reminded me why it's important to be a vocal feminist. And just as an addendum -- I see nothing wrong with women choosing to stay home and raise their children if their family can afford it. In fact it's an admirable choice. The point is that it should …

I mean, I have occasionally encountered the attitude from men in the workplace that they are more capable than women. It's certainly not common, thankfully, though I do think it's a little disingenuous for you to say that "no one is against" treating women equally and with respect. (I mean, have you been on the internet?). But if you believe women and men are equal than I'm not trying to attack you, I was just legitimately curious what angered the original commenter about feminism.

Women are human beings like anyone else that seek a genuine connection, yet TRP fails to mention this point. I think you're making good points here, I'm just curious, what do you hate about feminism? To me, "women are human beings just like anyone else" is essentially a restatement of my beliefs as a feminist.

I'll be rich thanks to STEM (the studies that I can thank for my grey hairs, but I never quit) so any trait I possess will be very attractive. Oh my sweet summer child

wtf did you really take a creep picture of a random couple in a restaurant because you thought they were unattractive? That's such a weirdly obsessive, maladjusted thing to do and you should take that picture down to retain some semblance of human decency.

It certainly should cover vasectomies! In the UK, the NHS covers them.

My fiance introduced me to powerlifting several years ago. We love going to the gym together and motivating each other to achieve our strength goals. We are both otherwise pretty quiet and buttoned-up, but there is something really fun and primal about listening to super loud music in your headphones and going for a new PR. He's actually not been working out as much because of some work issues so my squat recently briefly exceeded his, which I was inordinately proud of!

Yeah ok, climate change won't affect men, and criminal justice reform wouldn't benefit them. Got it.

You seem to be saying that "if we have an equitable tax structure and social safety net, unattractive men should be allowed to rape women who do not wish to have sex with them, it's only fair." Your logic here is extremely opaque to me.

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. I believe that the position that unattractive men aren't owed sex is perfectly consistent with "collectivist" ideas like universal health care (which also benefits men, obviously).

If you have a hammer everything looks like a nail, and if you are a red-piller I suppose everything looks like a plot to rob you of the sex you are "owed" (gross). I support universal health care and family leave policies not because I have some secret sexual agenda but because those are ethical policies and should be perfectly attainable in one of the richest countries in the world. For most of the progressive issues that are important to me personally (climate change, access to health care, cr…

Nothing like a good ad hominem attack to get people on your side.

Your generalizations about men are sad and bizarre. All the ambitious men I know (Phds in high-demand fields, doctors, etc) have paired off with similarly accomplished women.

I guess I'm not sure what your personal definition of hardship is, but I'd hold up this comment as an example par excellence of "delusional red pill thoughts"

I'm sorry, have you actually been on the red pill subreddit? The vitriol they spew against all women is absurd, they absolutely don't seem to have a baseline decency with regards to women like you seem to be suggesting. A recent comment, with 115 upvotes: Priorities: 1.Yourself 2.Your Business 3.Your Health 4.Your Family > 5.Your Friends 6. Wet pink holes Stop this pickup shit or talking about women. They are a waste of time and have nothing to offer.

As a powerlifting woman, I endorse this advice. That said the guys I check out at the gym* are the ones who are putting up the biggest numbers relative to their bodyweight with good form. I imagine this is not typical of most women, but for me the dedication it takes to achieve good lift numbers is attractive even more than the physical results. Soon after I began lifting, I became more confident in myself. I imagine that this shift in attitude is part of the reason guys who lift come off as mor…

Interesting, in my circle of college friends neither the men nor the women are particularly promiscuous, we all settled down pretty much right after we graduated. (Not that I have anything against having a lot of partners, it's just not my style.) In your post that you say women have a lack of morality for hooking up with a lot of guys, and then describe yourself hooking up with a lot of women--does that mean you are uncomfortable with your own behavior? I hope it works out for you and that you …

Ok, it's past my bedtime but this back-and-forth is surprisingly fun: I don't care what you, kragshot, are doing. I don't care how you're using parts of red pill to learn how to maximize your sex chances or whatever. I'm not sure how you got that impression that this is about you? I'm talking about the official red pill positions as exemplified by the sidebar content (women never age past 18 etc).

Perhaps if you stopped peddling red pill philosophy as exposing a bunch of universal truths, you would not receive so much pushback. There's a huge difference between "some men have bad experiences in relationships with unpleasant or unscrupulous women" (which I 100% believe) and the whole "all women are like this" thing I see everywhere. You use "negative male experiences with women" as a starting point to denigrate an entire gender.

Well, to me it sounds like a lot of you red pill guys are upset that you're not getting the sex that you feel you are owed for some reason. You might say that your emotions are clouding your judgment of your actual situation.

Well, here's an abstract from a recent paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research. Also, this is anecdotal (though no more anecdotal than the stories you read on "the manosphere", lol) but most of the older married couples I know still have a lot of fun together and seem to be in love. It really sucks that most red pillers don't seem to have any personal experience with positive relationship role models like that.

You sound quite bitter, and this is also curiously... detailed. I assume something like this happened to you? If so, I'm sorry, but be assured that many relationships are nothing like this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
