1	"Men aren't entitled to getting laid!" is a lazy, intellectually dishonest red herring intended to derail discussion. The root of the difficulties young men face in dating is finding fulfilling romantic companionship, not getting laid. From what I've gathered anecdotally, women are attracted to traits corresponding to dominance and a strong immune system (which is necessary for traits corresponding to physical prowess). So I would agree on butts and height, not so much toned abs, as long as it's not a beer gut. Afterall, crispr is a thing now albeit inefficient and somewhat inaccurate. As for mRNA and polypeptides, they are still expensive but prices are dropping considerably. Plastic surgery is becoming much better and looks way more natural nowadays. 3	"It was the same back in the old days" is a common misconception among the younger posters on here Women were always hard to get, it's just nowadays there's a greater focus on heritable traits rather than traits that can be developed. 1	Do looks matter more for males or females? Men do provide for the children... But... paternity is never guaranteed so if a guy only has resources but isn't good looking then he won't pass on his genes, he'll just pay for his competitor's legacy. Side note: This is why men need to pursue medical and chemistry related STEM majors more, so that we can develop some way to make every man good looking.
