OP never said to stop being nice or being yourself. So many nice guys say "girls hate nice guys!! I'm such a gentleman and put you on a pedestal and tell you every day that I'm not worthy of you!" And I think OP is just saying to stop trying so hard. Stop telling girls how nice and compassionate you are and show them. But just don't overdo it to impress them, because it seems clingy. Girls don't dislike nice guys, they dislike guys who try too hard to prove themselves and are incredibly clingy. …

The author (and the research data) suggested that the reason virgins divorce less is because they're likely religious and they are the same women that regularly attend church. The church frowns upon premarital sex and divorce, so that's much more likely to be the link. Low divorce is related to (likely caused by) religion and virginity is related to (likely caused by) religion, but that doesn't mean that virginity is related to divorce, and a stronger indication that it is not actually impacting…
