I know this is 5 years old, but oh well. I would give up my seat with no questions or complaints if someone went with the “I’m having trouble breathing right now, could I have your seat”, and I think most others would as well. I hope you’re doing well

Could you explain what you mean by this?

I think the issue with the beer thing is that even selling a beer to an alcoholic in recovery is not exploitative. If you’re a bar owner, you have no way of knowing who is an alcoholic, and who is just someone going out for a beer after a long week of work. For you, it’s just another customer, and it’s not your place to get individual customers to make sure you’re not harming them by letting them buy your product. It is up to the alcoholic to avoid going to bars/clubs. It’s not fair to claim tha…

Honestly this one isn’t even bad. Wanting to be attracted to your partner is expected, as is wanting financial stability. And the way she worded it was not bad.

Man is in the hot room, and the woman is in the cold room. As the man’s room gets hotter, he has to take off layers of clothing to cool down. Eventually, he will have to be in his underwear to feel comfortable as the temperature rises. Eventually, to be comfortable, the man has to break dress code. As the woman’s room gets colder, she has to put on more layers (sweater, jacket, coat, etc) to warm up. As the temperature lowers in her room, she can simply continue to add more layers to warm up. Th…

The issue is this. If the temp is set low, then men are comfortable, and women can just wear more layers. If the temperature is set high, then women are comfortable not wearing layers, but men have to take off layers. If you’re already having to wear multiple layers to conform to office dress code, you can’t exactly take layers off. So, women have to put layers on to be comfy (possible, and conforms to dress code) Men have to take layers off (interferes with dress code, and am even if not, there…

That’s literally every thread on this sub. The image posted is completely accurate, as playing games like that is juvenile, but the comments here are 99% incels.

I’m sorry, but there is no way in hell I’m reading all of that. Can someone give me an unbiased TLDR (by unbiased, I mean no “women bad” mood to it)

I get what you mean. It is 100% his choice. In a situation like this though, where you’ve already raised the child for 5 years and he has undoubtedly formed a bond with you, while it is still your choice to abandon him, you would undoubtedly be a piece of shit for doing so. It’s completely your choice to abandon your son, who would think that he did something wrong to make you stop loving him, over something he had absolutely no control over. Once again. It is your choice. But if you abandon tha…

Exactly. A lot of subtle hatred for adopted kids/step children in these comments. Edit: Y’all really can’t handle the fact that children you adopt still deserve to be loved, huh? If you’ve loved and raised a child for 10 years, and then one day find out he was the product of your cheating wife, he’s still your son. Imagine how heartbroken he would be if you just told him you don’t love him anymore because he can’t “continue your lineage”. Y’all can divorce the cheating whore, but your fucking SO…

The child is still his legacy. Unfortunately, the child has a cheating piece of shit as a mother. Children who are not blood related are still your children.

No, what she needs to do is stop complaining about not finding a man. Being picky is perfectly fine. But being picky and then complaining that it’s affecting you is what will make people call you picky.

She’s not wrong. She isn’t demanding that anyone date her. She’s literally just saying that she’s fine if she stays single due to her preferences. It’s no different for men. If you have preferences, and are content with being single for longer, then why would you ever settle?

Yes, but I don’t think it’s nearly as prevalent in western society as a lot of the crazier extreme feminists will tell you. Then again, only like 5% of feminists actually are extremists like you’d see on YouTube. Most are just regular people who notice that society is still unfair, and are trying to fix it without blowing the issues way out of proportion.

Absolutely nailed it with that last paragraph. I do not think the first part of your comment adds anything though. Seems similar to trying to debunk racist police on the grounds that white people get brutalized by police too. Like yeah, it happens, but not to the same extent, which is the issue.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
