It comes from perspective. Do you ever have those moments when you think "[friend] /[mum] /[sibling]/[pet] would like this or find it interesting". Capture that memory and shine it up a bit, increase the dramatics etc, and you've got a story to share. Listen to some comedians and how they tell stories and relate back to their life. Even reading something on reddit or the Internet is a relatable story when told from the right angle. Change your bland commute into the baby Iguana from Planet Earth…

They're wearing earbudse specifically so they don't have to gave those conversations. Choose a different technique/time/place where they are already open to the idea of being social

That's the one. A stranger trying to touch our faces is awkward as we barely even kiss family on the cheek. At the same time it's awesome to interact with internationals so you've got the exotic factor working for you. Also, taking a wild swing here, but if you do Salsa it's huge in Brisbane. Check out Jade Buda lounge and 50/50 club.

What country are you coming from? People hug as hello/goodbye. If your culture does the kiss thing be prepared for girls to find it really sexy or really off putting (no middle ground here)

awesome job especially considering the limitations. No phone is like missing a limb for so many these days, it's great to see non-technology game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
