-1	Misandry Really Is Systemic I don’t know, every woman I know would be happy to get rid of it altogether. Also be happy to not ever go overseas to war in the first place. And if the rich men in power really cared about it, they have the votes. It seems like the outcomes may seem skewed but more likely because traditionally women don’t make as much money and spend more time caring for the home/kids. 0	The "Patriarchy" Causes Misandry? I’m curious about that stance. Patriarchy is defined as a system where positions of authority are primarily held by men. Are you arguing that because there are some women in positions of authority (government, higher corporate roles, judges, military command, etc) that it isn’t a patriarchy? 0	Misandry Really Is Systemic And it was men who built our military and wrote the laws. Men hold the majority of congress and the presidency today. Like, men can change conscription laws right now if they all agreed to. Also, less than 4% of sex crimes result in conviction. 5	any other female mens rights activists on here? Just because something is a trenddoesn't make it a feminist goal. Women being considered more for custody has never been on anyone's agenda (by the way, my dad won full custody of three kids under 5 in 1985) but more of a trend due to women traditionally being the caregivers. My ex fought tooth and nail for exactly down the middle 50/50 custody of our son despite his cocaine addiction and won. That is certainly an exaggeration, but the fact that you are so set that there has to be a winner or a loser in this situation pretty much tells me enough about your views. I would say those jokes (and I absolutely agree that that hashtag is heinous and unfunny) stem less from feminism as a whole and more from assholes on the fringe who want to blame an entire half of the population for their problems. Every movement has roots in a problem or societal need. Some assholes are bound to hijack any movement to perpetuate and justify their own shittiness. Comes with the territory. 22	any other female mens rights activists on here? Female here. All for men's rights and addressing systemic issues that effect men. Not a big fan of when issues are brought up as a response to or downplay of women's issues, nor am I too keen on villainizing feminism as a whole.
