To think they weren't swayed by the popular opinions of the times is silly. It's not misogyny.

I am not saying opposition didn't happen. I am just saying you have to keep things in perspective. This is just like trans women fighting against trans rights. They have it in their brains that it had to be wrong so they actively fought against it. The fact of the matter is that women were also the biggest ones fighting for women's suffrage. I'm not a feminist as they exist today. I am someone who believes there should be full equality.

I think its incredibly selfish to think women did not want to vote. You sound like you wouldn't let them if you had the choice.

Well that's outright a lie. It might be misused a lot but it has definately been used to help women before without being against men. Also you know I didn't say that. I have already stated that rape is rape. It's the same regardless of gender. Stop being rude and twisting my words.

Because they aren't equal obviously. It isn't only movement it's also an ideology. I believe in the ideology but not necessarily the movement which means I'm not associated with those people for having these views. Feminism Definition: "the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes."

Thats what I just said? I think people should be treated equally. I don't get your confusion my dude. Nobody should be raped regardless of their gender. You are twisting my words. I call myself a feminist for wanting to reduce sexism and opression towards women. That's what the movement was built upon. That doesn't mean I think women should get away with rape. I don't support the people misusing the movement to do such terrible things. They disgust me. Fr though Feminist ≠ female superiority

Thats not what I am saying and you know it. Stop twisting peoples words to fit your rhetoric. I say I am a feminist so I must be an awful person right? Grow up

I am not supporting the WHOLE movement. Only the parts that aren't awful. Rape is rape

Okay you know what let's put this on fair ground. That is an unfair and widely misconstrued assessment of what I said and is quite frankly insulting. I told you I do not support such awful things but I DO support all people being treated equal regardless to gender. This unequal treatment happens on both sides and one does not make the other less awful. Don't try and mock me.

I dont think that's how that works. You can support an idea and but also not support everything they do.

Isn't feminism supposed to be about equality and not prioritizing women over men?

Hi I think its vaguely unfair to say anyone who labels themselves as a feminist also hates men?

This is NOT okay. This is allowing racism/sexism to happen just because they aren't a minority

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
