I don’t mean to sound rude or antagonist, but treating women like dogs doesn’t seem like a great way to start a relationship.

How does someone "earn" a compliment?

How is thinking everyone should treat women as human beings not for everyone? Or taking a woman’s comments into consideration when it comes to men needing help talking to women?

You shouldn’t need to learn to speak to another human being. Treat women like people-and not someone who needs to earn your validation-and you’ll find it’s not difficult. I’m sorry I was rude. I just don’t appreciate being talked down to by a bunch of men (I’m assuming) when I’m only trying to help. Women know women, just as men know men. If you truly want to learn how to interact with women, you shouldn’t ignore them when they offer you help. Not only could it hurt your chances, but it will not…

Women don’t always dress for men, and they certainly don’t need you to tell them they look good-they know. That’s why they wore the outfit. Don’t talk to women you don’t know. They probably don’t want you to and, as you’re on this sub, you probably don’t know how to anyway.

Yeah. Clearly you aren’t.

It’s not the wrong thing to do because she hasn’t earned your validation (WTF???). It’s wrong because it shows her you only like her for her looks and aren’t interested in her as a person. No one wants that, and not all women like being complemented on their appearance.

Just say hello. But be careful to pay attention to whether or not she seems uncomfortable and DO NOT ask her where she is going. You could try asking her about something she has, like a book. But if she’s reading or listening to music, don’t interrupt. She probably won’t appreciate it. Whatever you do, start small. Gauge whether she wants to talk to you, and go from there. And she might not want to talk to a stranger on a bus, so don’t take it personally if she doesn’t seem interested.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
