I do from time to time end up being my friends and families advisor and coaching/inssperation has strifed my mind. But again, what do I gain by leading people into the chair I am sitting in now? Wondering, what now? The journey it self is of course amazing and I have no regrets, but the question still haunts me. Perhaps more than others.

I was thinking the same while climbing. - I work hard towards greatness not yet determined. But fuck me, here I am. Clueless and unmotivated simply because the more I climbed the more I saw the damage to one self and others inflicted. They say that behind each great achievement/bankaccount/invention lies a equally great crime. Perhaps I am to concerned with ethics?

I have challenged and performed in many of the activities you mention during my service. Competition and mastery for the sake of it gives me little or short term satisfaction.
