There’s posts like that on ruqqus

I wouldn’t deny it, but I don’t see how it relates to the point being made.

Haha no worries, for your first paragraph, I feel it’s completely acceptable for a low n-count man to want a low n-count woman. The issue is that red pill want low n-count women when their n-count is high. For example, in r/AskTrp there are numerous posts about “spinning multiple plates at once” without the “plates’” knowledge. There was even a post where a guy was interested in dating a girl, but he was fucking a girl on the side and didn’t want the first girl to know. On the other hand, red pi…

I pretty much agree with your definitions, the problem is that incels/MGTOW/red pill (yes I know RP and MGTOW don’t consider themselves incels but the language is often similar) say that ALL women with high n-counts are not good marriage material, when in reality it is a case by case basis. Statistics are not applicable to everyone, nor do they claim to be, yet red pill and black pill act like they are. There is also hypocrisy in regards to n-count, I got into a discussion with someone on PPD re…

This post assumes that all men orbit and that all women like orbiters, which isn’t the case. In friendships where women are clearly taking advantage of the potential sexual attention, the argument makes sense. Otherwise, the friendship is harmless and a husband preventing a wife from participating in friendships is strange.

It’s not so much the fact that they have preferences because we all have them, it’s the fact that 1) they tend to be hypocritical about them and 2) shame the women who do not fall into their preferences. It goes both ways, it’s fine if someone isn’t tall enough or doesn’t have a low enough n-count, but it’s shitty to go out of your way to make fun of someone with said traits.

This, I’m a psychology Major and if a child receives too much coddling/not enough boundary interaction, they won’t be efficient adults.

My closest friend disappeared when he was in his relationship for about a year. We were starting college and she got jealous, despite the fact that I was friends with her too. I’m not sure if gender affects it as much as jealous/needy partners.

Like if I were to change my mind and become more traditional? I think it really depends on the context. If I were to become more traditional there would be a serious worldview change within me, and I would likely seek out like-minded people, or I would evolve with my partner if i were in a relationship. I wouldn’t force my views on anyone.

I’m probably the most non-traditional woman I know, and I have never dreamed to force a male partner to fill his role if I don’t want to fill mine. Hell, in high school I paid for my boyfriend when we went out probably 70% of the time. It baffles me that women expect men to hand their money out free will.

I definitely agree with this. We have become so individualistic that we don’t want the responsibility of sincere relationships because “we don’t owe anyone anything”. While that mentality has fucked western society over as now we’re all on our own little islands, trying to get the most out of others while giving as little as possible. But that’s not how relationships work, we have to give when we don’t want to sometimes and make sacrifices, and that goes both ways. Relationships are about recipr…

The point being made here is that there are multiple posts on those subreddits that complain about women not giving sex within x amount of time, “plates” not working out because they wouldn’t put out or something along those lines, or women not doing as many sexual actions with them as with a previous partner. But as soon as the topic arises about women with other men, they get upset and expect women to have low n-count or do more sexual things with them than with previous partners. The links I …

r/IncelsWithoutHate r/MGTOW r/Asktrp They’re full of ripping on women with high n-count or women wanting “Chads” or “Alphas” over “Betas”, but then they complain that women fuck “Betas” at all. if you want I can pull specific examples

I’m not pilled, but I do follow TRP and FDS very closely as I want to pursue and research sex differences in my career. I’ve noticed that TRP, MGTOW, FDS, etc, all look good on paper. The core values are good: “focus on yourself, don’t simp, don’t get manipulated, etc”. Some people follow just the core principles, such as yourself (from what I can tell), and it works out. But people take the values to the extreme and demonize men/women, and put their own sex on a pedestal. TRP obsess over women’…

Yes of course, men have diverse and fascinating lives and opinions, to dismiss them would be to dismiss around 50% of the world’s population. Despite the shit women get, men get their fair share of shit too, and I think it’s incredibly unfair that it doesn’t get talked about.

A guy who’s taller than me (but he could be 5’6 for all I care, just a little bit taller) Communicative/honest Relaxed but still has ambition Kind Similar interests I don’t need him to be perfect looking honestly, I like boys who have a little bit of a tummy and look human. I don’t have a type of guy as the men I’ve liked in the past look nothing like each other. He doesn’t need to have a 6 figure job, he just needs to be not lazy lol. I am a woman, I agree with financial abortion. I was the one arguing with OP. Way to generalize a whole group based on a portion of the population. That goes for you too bud u/dangzagnut

My point is though that if it is too hard to have a kid, then don’t have it. Don’t rope the ONS or FwB into it because you’re not stable enough to take care of it yourself. Also, just because a lot of things are fair doesn’t mean this has to be unfair. I feel like advocacy can also go so far, and men’s birth control is in the works it just hasn’t been released.

I am so thankful you said this. I am more of a “if a woman can abort so can a man”, but you said it so well and made perfectly valid arguments and pointed out the hypocrisy of the issue. Thank you.

I’m gonna be honest, how is it that men have to listen to biology and “know the consequences” whenever they have sex, but for women they have a right to choose and can do what they want with their bodies. It seems incredibly unfair.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/20 02:43 AM

I see, though my point was that they don’t necessarily treat their partners differently if they find they make less than. I agree with you completely that women tend to prefer higher status men, it has to do with the biological investment of making children. I don’t agree with you that most women would treat their spouses/partners less than/differently if they found out they made less money than originally thought.

Thanks, after reading through those summaries none appeared to say that they treat their partners differently, just that they prefer men who are successful A lot of those studies he was talking about are really old, so I’m not sure about the relevance and accuracy to today’s climate

I’m gonna be honest, I have never heard of, seen, read a statistic, or anything that says or shows that women expect this. Movies might be the only thing but other than that, I don’t see many women just outright expecting men to protect them with no relationship whatsoever. I could see that dynamic with relationships, but that makes sense because you know the person and it’s expected that you look out for each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 12:13 AM

You shouldn’t worry about women being loose due to sex because the body is “elastic” and it goes back to its original place after sex. Age would likely be the only thing that makes women “looser” as muscles weaken and skin sags. So you’re good to go!

One of my closest friends is a guy I met 10th grade in high school, never had any feelings whatsoever. We’ve got a relationship where we can say just about anything with each other and it’s great.

Definitely, I’m researching it now. If you’re interested, I have found a lot of information on the origin of “the rule of thumb” as it was in one of the sources in the comments you linked. That’s my point, men have consistently had more opportunities to learn, build upon research, and create for longer periods of time than women have. Women have often been discredited for the work they did do. Margaret Hamilton is a good example, I had never heard of her until the last few years when the movie “…

And I think you misunderstood my original comment, I was not saying nor do I believe in the oppressor v oppressed concept, as it oversimplifies history and society. Rather, I was pointing out that consistently throughout history there have been laws, statements made by people in power, and social norms where women were put in subservient positions and men were dominant. Thanks for linking that second comment though, I’ll definitely look into it. I personally have never heard of either of these i…

I read the comment, and I don’t see how it relates to what I said above. I’m not citing the women’s movement or Blackstone, I’m saying this as I have taken philosophy classes, anthropology classes, psychology classes, and I’ve read multiple philosophers and come to the conclusion on my own. The comment was made on a post also unrelated to what I’m pointing out, if you could explain why you tagged that comment that would be helpful. I don’t think the fact that men do better than women in every field is necessarily true. Men have dominated every field for thousands of years and women were not allowed to participate in said fields. This can be seen as far back as Aristotle who believed women were on a lower plane than men. Only recently have women begun to enter a range of fields, and due to historic lack of opportunity, they haven’t been able to reach the same level as men have in their respective fields. I also see what you…

I wasn’t disagreeing with that fact, my issue was his generalization of people’s preferences based on unsound information, I’ve met a variety of people who date people shorter/taller/as tall as them, and his comment invalidated that. U/drawnred makes a really good point on this below.

Hymen isn’t a tried and true way of determining virginity as women are sometimes born without, and they can be broken by tampon usage.

https://youtu.be/eieVE-xFXuo Here’s a really interesting video by psychologist Jordan Peterson that actually touches on this concept a little bit, he makes the connection that freedom and happiness are not correlated.

I think it has to do with society’s expectations on men to be stoic and emotionless. This results in men being less likely to reach out. Society also creates false expectations on how relationships will appear. Like if you do x, that will result in relationship. Relationships (friend or otherwise) are fluid and not that straight forward. In general, I believe it is the expectations on men and their emotions which prevents them from having fulfilling connections with other men and women.

In all honesty, I would want an honest man because I would know he is in tune with his feelings. If I hadn’t seen him cry before and he started crying in front of me I would feel scared, surprised, and a little worried, but I would love him more for it. There’s a part of me that needs to take care of people, and I sincerely believe in the depths of my soul that relationships are where two people take care of each other. I want to make him feel protected as much as I want to feel protected. I wou…

There were two points I was making. 1) that there is not a correlation between body count and cheating rates. Which there was no evidence for that when I made my original comment, so your rebuttal to my original comment doesn’t fit as the point was made and accepted after OP posted links to verify that there is in fact a link. The second point I was making was that OP was implying the primarily women are cheaters/the issue, and that the true stats could be potentially unreported. My point there …

The first screenshot only speaks to the increasing rate of infidelity with each addition of a lifetime partner in terms of ethnicity, child abuse, etc. I am also assuming the screenshot comes from the first link you included. The study was done to see if there was an increase in infidelity reports in women when the mode of reporting changed. There was no comparison in infidelity rates between men and women, nor a conclusion that women were more likely to cheat than men, because that was not the …

It’s because people do not enjoy being judged on the amount of their sexual partners. If women were doing this to men the same reaction would be there. Even if their supposed body count is lower than men’s, they are still judged for it. Men and women cheat, and whether or not they do cheat is separate from body count. There are men and women with high body counts who have never cheated and vice versa. It is a separate issue and variable that needs to be quantified on its own before being compare…

Though having a Christian partner being a high priority, it shouldn’t be the only priority. Even though two people are Christian, it does not in any way guarantee a successful marriage. There have been many marriages (several that I have personally witnessed) where the marriage failed despite being “Christ-centered”. The key here is finding someone you click with and resonate with, and has shared beliefs with you. People in the world are horrible, both men and women. Putting women in a box won’t…

Based on your post, you two got together because you were the best out of both sexes. There also wasn’t much of trust from both parties. What likely happened is that because there wasn’t a solid emotional foundation between the two of you, it broke apart under the stress you both were going through e.g. COVID, basic, your fears she was cheating, etc. She also was not smart with her money, which added strain as well. What should have likely happened was you both sitting down and having a conversa…

I am aware that there is a difference between conditioning and instinct, though I stuck with the word instinct for consistency’s sake in the context, I apologize for the confusion I should have clarified my terms. My argument then is that the preference for low n count women is primarily the result of conditioning and not instinct. Along the lines of a 25/75 split (conditioning being 75). As you said, conditioning can create instinct, and I think that is the case here, as I pointed out with the …

The best explanation I have discovered is a combination of cultural influence and paternity fraud fears. Across cultures there has been a value placed on women’s virginity and purity while for men there has been a value placed on male sexual dominance and freedom. This concept can be best explained in the mechanics of reproduction. It is a greater physical commitment for women to reproduce than it is for men, so it is easier for men to engage in sexual activity. Thus an expectation (based on pat…

How and why would this be an instinct? If we are looking at primal instincts, wouldn’t higher n count women be more desirable? Because it proves they can have sex/reproduce and in tribes it wasn’t about loyalty to a single partner it was about survival. Within groups it was important to depend on each other for survival, so it was less about 1-1 relationships but more about keeping the human race alive. This is speaking from a primarily evolutionary perspective, you may be speaking from a differ…
