Omg I mean my college sociology classes… basically there are so many missing men in the black dating scene that it (arguably) changes the behavior of black men and women, I.e., to the extent that they want to date black men, women are forced to try harder for a limited supply of men; black men have a wider range of available black women. The arguable result is that black women are more sexually liberal, that black men have more opportunities for infidelity, on and on in that vein. Contrast this …

There is a shortage of black men in the dating market and this has wide ranging consequences/secondary sociological outcomes

I mean let’s see, because men make the rules and they are hard wired to compete against and crush other men, while protecting women, in other words these men are sexist against men based on hardwired bias. Or rather it’s because women make the rules, and they feel women’s pain more than men’s pain and are generally sexist against men based on hardwired bias. So either way

So basically you need to get off Reddit for ten minutes

No, look. Nobody is comfortable talking about sex so basically it’s easier to do than to talk about and these Karens are being faceplant style disingenuous about it based on the six times they had sex a decade ago

I do think that child support is inherently bad. Based on personal experience. In my case it was used first and foremost as a weapon against me, nothing to do with my kids well being.

So you’re complaining about basic people being basic? On Reddit?

I mean it’s not about your ex anymore. Track down your son and be real with him. Do your honest best. Don’t fucking lie to him, don’t make excuses, just tell him your story. It’s not easy but he’s basically a grown up now so it’s not about your ex anymore. And there’s no reason you have to go along with anything like changing his name or any other legal crap. He’s fucking sixteen ffs, who does that??! The court is basically irrelevant at his age, given your situation. Good luck 🍀

So - marriage and kids tend to increase men’s wages in professional jobs and decrease women’s wages. Basically for the cultural reason that a dad really really needs his job, but that a mom may quit. So it’s a (totally unfair and maybe just maybe illegal) way of gauging your need for stable employment ... for better or worse.
/r/MensRights08/04/21 11:25 PM

Well there is this thing called a status quo order where you can ask a judge for an order keeping the current arrangements IANAL and good luck 😢😢

Reddit is dominated by basic ppl with basic attitudes toward everything and if you’re not basic then they’ll yell at you and ban you and otherwise harass you. Kinda reminds me of high school, and every job ever.
