This is ad hominem. The association you made about Schopenhauer’s take and his relationship with his mother is at best superficial since you did not rationally dissect his argument but focused on the events of his childhood although his philosophy was written much, much later in his life. You then finally landed on OP’s state of mind as though making a grand conclusion by tying it to his previous posts; quite unremarkable.

Of the women that I have seen that have adopted this philosophy, it always seems to be a sort of backup plan after an attempt to be strong and independent proves to be too much of a challenge. So in my experience, these women always carry a lot of baggage that they haven’t attempted to heal from because they simply think that looking for tradcon is safer than going after Chad. Even in the event that you find one that hasn’t been much of a modern women, they simply want that lifestyle for their o…

Yes it is a great book, a good starting place to break free of the conditioning of ideas we have been raised under. He systematically demonstrates that albeit both men and women of modest means (which is the vast majority of the population) have been oppressed and controlled by governments and their bourgeois overlords, the plight of men was and continue to be incommensurably greater than women

Cook brother, cook! Couldn’t have said it better. In this day and age where women have essentially broken the social contract, there is absolutely no reason for men not to do 50-50 in everything unless she shows herself to be traditional in most aspects. Not temporarily - but as a lifestyle. Men have to start unequivocally and proudly putting themselves first
/r/MensRights21/06/25 03:28 PM

Not necessarily. If OP was speaking in general, as it appears, research has confirmed this. The lives of men although worse at the onset of divorce tend to improve at least economically compared to women. It’s easy to see how an improvement in financial situation could lead to a better state of mind

There is one fundamental fact that this type of research tends to obfuscate. No one can give another person an orgasm without their consent/participation. Now to get there one may ask their partner to do certain things during the act but they are eventually responsible to get themselves there. It may be that men communicate their needs better or simply have a lower list of requirements for what needs to be “perfect” for them to allow themselves to achieve orgasm.

Your wife is just as much to blame here than the guy. The guy did not know or care for you and thus had no business doing you any good. For your wife on the other hand, since she was romantically involved with you, I think she is even more to blame than him. I echo most of the previous advice. Get your affairs in order first. Speak to a lawyer and get the proceedings going. You should not be on two fronts at the same time. There is a time for everything and right now the priority, imo, should be…

Easier said than done. Before you shame dads, you should consider the fact that becoming an absent father is a long tragic process fueled by a tumultuous relationship between the parents. As absent fathers are typically unmarried, the mother at times easily branches out to another man who now occupies the space meant for the father. This sees the father’s role redefined or confined. This notwithstanding the continuous effort mothers put into shunning kids from their dads or turning them against …

Yeap, this until they reach old age. As they grow old, the increasing weight of independence, decreasing smv and mmv sees the majority quietly renouncing feminism and shifting to traditional values, superficially at the very least. Now they are ready for a life long commitment and a life of codependency. A case of having your cake and eating it.

Dude, this sounds like a whole lot of mental gymnastics and an attempt at extrapolating personal behavior/feeling into the general. In cities people exercise, run and bike on the streets every damn where at almost all times. You must expect people to be on your way. So you had the option ahead of time to stop and turn around , should you be scared…

It serves to alienate them from their father and destroy their relationship with him; something Shakira is actively hoping for as do the majority of divorced women. The song is nothing but an attempt to score sympathy points; she is hardly thinking about the consequences of this bad publicity on her kids. Piqué is not devoid of blame but id like to know who filed for divorce, who exposed the cheating as the reason for the divorce, and what pushed him to cheat.

Soulmates share ideological attributes. Certainly we do not know who starved the other for sex but given that you ventured outside to get some, I would surmised she did. My point was that you were being contradictory. If she is your soulmate then she should understand you and know your need for sexual intimacy, which is hardly decoupled from love. And also understand your demanding hours of work which you probably subjected yourself to in order to provide for your family and then work with you o…

Could you please share a link to the study? Women typically self-report more empathy but objective assessment of emotion recognition shows that men are better in general at recognizing emotions. There are claims that this so called exaggerated empathy reported by women is associated with traditional gender roles. At any rate, my question is if women cannot recognize emotions better than males, how exactly can they be more empathetic. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12144-020-01260-8

I have come to the realization that we are fundamentally incompatible, that is men and women. We are way too different. In previous times, I believe what was holding marriages together was the training, education, purpose and honor that prepared youngsters for married life. That made it somehow easier to sustain relationships. But even then this incompatibility would still surface. That is why men of wisdom from past times could write perfectly about the true nature of women; things that are onl…

There are I think 2 reasons for this. What you see as sisterhood I believe is just an expression of their inherent solipsism. When one woman is attacked or her interest devalued, other women are quick to associate with her because they believe themselves to be the center of the universe and see themselves in that woman or as all women. Then you get the usual demand for preferential treatment and lack of accountability. However that is limited to intersex conflicts or debates. Intra sexual compet…

False accusations, mate. I suggest you take some time to scroll through this sub to see what some men have been subjected to at the hands of their once trusted other half. There are also tons of advice on what to do to mitigate the damage such accusations may bring (recorders, cameras). But I guess the first and most important thing is for you to accept face reality and it’s potential nefarious consequences, most notably in terms of severing access to your kids.

No one deserve nothing. Nothing is ever truly is our control perhaps except our will. Your wife is more attracted to a life of independence than one of marriage. She is not someone you can trust and she is not loyal to your union and even less to the wellbeing of your kids. This should be obvious. In your place, I would be wary of upcoming false allegations. That’s gonna be the next step for her. Protect yourself and do not cede control of recording and monitoring devices to her. Women have been doing this since times immemorial. Make sure it’s your kid. DNA testing should be prioritised. Next, equal parenting time 50:50. The implication being that you should not marry her or date her any longer. As a matter you should call it quits immediately on the off chance that this is indeed not your baby. Lastly, …

I suspect it is because most men still operate under the fallacy of equality or perhaps seek to operate under it because they believe women do as they purport to do so. But a few questions should throw a shade in the common interpretation of the word. what is the meaning of the equality and how does that apply in the context of inter-sex relationship ? For societies which make demographic success a pillar of their hegemonist strategy, the use of man for hard work is a necessity. But that goes ha…

It is no different than the prevailing sentiment among women on Roe vs Wade. They claim not to be sex objects and refuse to be considered such. Once however, men do not join their protests or add their voices to theirs to show their indignation on the matter, they propose to withhold sex from men. Now who is really truly proving that their worth only derives from sex? But yeah, they are completely oblivious to it. As a rule of thumb, one really should not try to argue or debate with women. It’s only in hindsight that one can tell these things, I think. Because a woman can tell you that she loves you and that she thinks you are the man of her life, just to change her stance a few weeks or months later. Then only after the fact can you pick up (for the inexperienced) on signs or where things went wrong. Although the blame is often shared for a failed relationship, I find that men are most of the time willing to work through it while women pretend to and give up very easily. As such,…

That’s not a biological perspective mate. That’s a strategy adopted by society for demographic success. I can agree that males in most species have an instinct to care for their females but this in no way infers disposability on the side of males. This is a societal choice. In societies documented in history with a mortality rate of almost 1:1 among men and women, the situation was quite different.

Women do not hold more importance biologically than men. Reproduction and survival are the businesses of every species on earth. For humans, females play a major role with respect to reproduction but a very minor one when it comes to survival. Reproduction wise, women can’t even host life if they are not fertilized, that’s why their role herein is major yet does not encompass the reproduction spectrum. There is actually no need for a consensus when solid evidence exists. Children of single mothers fare significantly worse than those of single fathers. It’s established scientifically. Whenever someone says the opposite, I immediately classify them as ignorant.

Feminism is simply female nature codified. As such, to have a solid marriage you need an environment conducive to such. Nowadays it’s not the case. Personal idiosyncrasies can yield a woman of understanding, but generally that’s not the case. Men have always been the most oppressed gender. Thus, the perfect woman, the perfect daughter is one that grows up in that environment where true morals are constantly enforced, and lack of principles outright sanctioned.

Thats highly unlikely, borderline impossible even. You gotta think in terms of size. How many men were rich enough to marry without care ? How many of their wives died from childbirth. It is estimated that the rate of maternal mortality was 1 to 1.5% of all women; a similar rate to Ancient Rome. The most likely explanation for more female lineage is the vast amount of male occupational deaths (work, war, etc).
/r/MensRights06/11/21 06:25 PM

No. Even in developing countries and third world countries, or in so called quasi traditional systems, the men still end up carrying the bulk of responsibilities, are under appreciated, and are treated like utilities. Authority may be male in some areas but that doesn’t exclude female entitlement. Human nature is universal and not confined to a continent or race.

A man is the leader of his relationship. Take the analogy of a horse and it’s male owner. The man caters for it and even loves it but he does not bother to ask the horse where or when to go or do something. Women’s needs are by nature inexhaustible and by virtue of the fact that their reasoning rests on their emotions, and that they truly lack the cognition to apply moral virtues in their lives - if they weren’t arduously raised as such- it is clear cut that their words should never be taken ser…

It really depends I think and if that proverb is to be applied in this day and age, the burned down village would be the destroyed social cohesion, if I can call it that way. As long as it does not harm her sense of security and provision from her husband, a woman can easily turn a blind eye to a man’s indiscretions. The reverse not being true as both genders seek different things in their mates, and innocence and virtue is most valued by men. So I get your point to that extent at the very least

‘Young women lead with sex, older women attempt to lead by virtue’. This needs to be framed.

Fun: Reading: mostly philosophy, politics and anthropology. Running, video games and rewatching series. Do quality women exist?: Never met one. Not expecting to meet one. Can’t help but generalise, but based on my experiences, I don’t think they exist in this age

While I share your sentiment to some extent, allow me to notice that you are not accounting for personality differences. Sometimes, once is not enough, and only after repeated burns do you effectively and forever turn the page, if ever you do. Cudos to you for learning the first time. But against a life time of blue pill conditioning l, daily blue pill bombardment, it may not come as easy to others.

“I’m that nice” 😂😂. It’s so sad and heart wrenching that I can only laugh. I have been through this, not the exact script but when betraying me my then ex wanted to appear dignified and endearing. Early 20s are for Chad and the leftovers post wall for a beta bucks.

After Bill asked her on a date for the first time, she first refused, later explaining that he was not”spontaneous enough” 🤡

I was looking for one and I found this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/melinda-gates-being-married-to-bill-gates-is-incredibly-hard-sometimes-2019-04-23. She knew about his geekiness before and early in the marriage but as usual, she expected things to be different

It’s not a causal relationship. It is simply a correlation that has been found in many cases non existent. Testosterone « can » influence sex drives but not always does. Other factors are in play here. Research has found very small sometimes negligible differences in testosterone between high libido and low libido males. Other factors are in play here. That’s why I spoke of the complexity of the sex drive in women which does not make it any lower. The difference in goals between genders may driv…

Yeah, no. You can’t say look at the statistics and not provide any. Women have about the same libido as men. Their cues are less straight forward as they are terrible communicators but they are there. We are just mostly straight forward and less picky. I don’t even know where to begin but this article should set you up for ample research. https://www.wsj.com/articles/women-are-more-interested-in-sex-than-you-think-studies-show-1464626176. There is far more evidence online. The higher rate of std…

Indeed. Thus, why one has to look at the financial and political backers standing to benefit from all this. It is everything but a grassroot movement.
