In the US, in order to do a prenup and not have it thrown out later, you need to both sign it in the presence of two attorneys, (yours and hers), who have also reviewed the document. Probably wouldn't hurt to also have the proceedings on video. It makes it very difficult to after the fact claim you didn't know what you were signing, and courts are likely to uphold it. It'll cost about $5k up front, but that's way less than $150,000+ in alimony. But on the other hand, if you were her attorney you…

Serious question, not judging at all - is she someone who is exclusive to just a few clients? Or if not, how do you deal with the increased STD exposure she has? Or do you live in a place where that sort of thing is actually legal and monitored closely?

I saw that too, though IMO if I were there, any fine is #worthit. The actual cost of raising kids is staggering. Even fine me $100k, I'm still not paying for your kid you psycho.

It's not unreasonable in the US anyway; men who start saving early on, (like in their 20s), can be millionaires by the time they retire, given the S&P500's tendency to double every 7 to 10 years. Look at any retirement calculator online if you want to play with the numbers. What kills it for our brothers here is spending money on women, and/or realizing it too late. Putting $100 in an index fund at 25 years old will on average be worth over $1,600 when we're 65. But we're dumb AF when we're 25. …

After he spends the next 20 years getting beat up by life and marriage, you may eventually get along better than you imagine.

Why men still chase women in 2020 is quit beyond me.. I think because sex robots haven't been perfected yet, and blowjobs are nice. And once in a while, for the company of someone who doesn't look like you. But just dealing with the insurmountable BS is fatiguing.

Hrm, I think it might be the outfit. She doesn't have apparent lines on her face yet; if she lost like 10lbs and wore something less matronly / more flattering, I think she'd look a lot closer to early 30's.

Omg you know that uncomfortable feeling of being embarrassed for someone else? I wonder if Harry has any idea what he's gotten himself into yet...

Eh, I don't know, 22 for maybe a single night or something, but with only one exception I've found 22 year olds to be generally really immature and irritating within a few hours. It seems like around 25/26 people start becoming more like normal humans, and less like narcissistic-high-schoolers.

Royalty may not have much status when compared to actual billionaires depending on your region. I can imagine being a royal is pretty meaningful in England, but it's not so much in, say, NYC or Boston. For example, Oprah Winfrey started out extremely poor. She built herself an empire - by 2006 she was making > $250 million a year. She's worth over $4B now. Given her story, I would find having a lunch with her much more compelling than having lunch with Prince Harry. Nothing personal against Harr…

Right, but if you were her lawyer, you'd advise her to not sign a prenup. You'd know you can always fight and get more money later, if/when she crosses that bridge. Why shoot your future settlement in the foot?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
