It is fucked because it’s always beneficial to have father figures prepare boys for the real world. But in another way, boys without a dad are forced to become their own man. Thankfully for them that means real experience through trial and error.

-No more choosing social events over my education -No more drinking/smoking pot on week days -No more porn Edit: Some helpful additions: -read before bed time -don't be on my phone past 11 -find time to lift between classes and homework (I haven't been as disciplined the last two weeks due to exams) -study a minimum of 4 hrs a day

To add on, find your why. I'm not in school because I want to just 'go with the flow' like everyone else and maybe be rich one day. I'm in school so I can be educated and also so that I can be the first from my family to go to college. Seeing the pride on my parents face when I walk the stage is motivation enough.

If you haven't read Marcus Aurelius's "Meditations" already, I would recommend doing so. He talks a lot about how man shouldn't be concerned what his neighbor his doing and should focus on himself. At the same time, the work he is doing should also (in any way possible) not only benefit himself but his community. The best quote to describe this comes from Book 6: "Does the sun think to do the rain's work? Or Asclepius that of Demeter? And how is it with the stars? Are they not all different, yet…

Provided she isn't the town bicycle with any STD's, I never ask. It doesn't matter. Just think of it this way: She was never yours, it was just your turn. Once you accept that then the number of her sex partners doesn't really matter.

Keep with it. When I started I would constantly fail around the 2 or 3 day mark. Every time I would fail, however, it made me more motivated to stick to NoFap. I haven't gone as far as some guys on that sub (my longest is 23 days, current streak is 9) however the benefits have been noticeable. I've had an increase in my sex drive and more energy throughout the day.

You're taking the right steps by talking to other girls and lifting. Keep at it. Just think of this way: she was never yours, it was only your turn. Go into every relationship with this mindset and I guarantee it will make the breakup easier. Its okay to feel lonely and sad, but you can't let others see it. Maintain frame.

What do you mean by slowing down? Did you not lift as much or something?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
