I'm in my last three months of high school. And it seemed like these girls are looking for soulmates. I hear a lot of " you're not my type" and that is the opposite of how I look for a girl. It may sound mean but my motives are almost entirely superficial, I don't look at comparability just appearance. I'm more in " one night stand" mode than "boyfriend" mode.

I've been told I come on really strong sometimes. I read somewhere that you need to keep a girl on the defensive, so I sort of played it like a chess game. Now I've had a good talk with some people and they told me that the full-court press often comes off too aggressive. That I should not go right into "Let's date" and that I should just make casual conversation and form a small friendship before going in. Does that sound like good advice?

The shy kid was the real me, but it got me nowhere. And I was trying to create a persona girls would want. My thought process was that a bad boy thing was what the majority of women seem to want.
