This is a really interesting post, and like many others I am kind of going through this issue right now. I'm just wondering if there is any way to turn things around in a situation where the girl lives about an hour away, meaning that meeting up is not very easy for either of us?

Idk if this thread is still active, but I figure it won't hurt to ask. I meet this girl about a month ago, got her number, we both had an apparent mutual attraction to each other. She lives about an hour away from me and between my work and summer class schedule I can go out to see her to often. I text her and she texts me randomly, but I feel like our text conversations are dull and not interesting, so I am worried about lossing her interest. I guess I need help with text game. Any help? Thanks

so today i was able to talk to her. i sat next to her and just opened very casually, i just said hey and smiled and she did the same back. later in the class the instructor put the class in groups and we were in the same group. we had to talk about how in some relationships one person might think it is only a friendship and the other thinks it is romantic. it was somewhat of an awkward conversation given the topic. i may just be thinking hopefully but she mentioned that her ex was an asshole, an…

so i tried to get a seat next to her but unfortunatley it didn't work. i showed up way before she did (she was late to class), but i took seat in the general area that she usually sits in hopes that she would sit by me. so that didn't work. i also tried waiting a little bit after class but she had to speak to the instructor and i had another class 10 minutes after that one, so that also didn't work out for me. im gonna give it another shot on friday when i have the class again. i'll come back an…

alright, since this opportunity has presented it self to me i may as well use it. so i just started a new semester in college last week, and all the introductory stuff is behind us. there is a girl in one of my classes that is really attractive. last week on the first day of that class i got to have a short conversation with her, just basic introductory stuff. she seems pretty sweet and nice. she mentioned that she was somewhat introverted. that is something that we share. we are both 21 years o…

Ok, I'm very sorry. I am always nervous when I make a post because there are so many rules. I have read them, but I just get confused. I'll get it one day haha.

Alright, gotcha. I have this PDF of something called the "Escalation Ladder," that I want to go over before I head up to see her but idk if I'll have time. Thanks for your input, by the way. Means a lot!

Ok, I understand. Something a friend of mine told me was that if she likes me, she likes the guy that she took that hike with. That means that I don't need to act differently this weekend. That is also what you are kind of saying here. Thanks a lot!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
