you guys need to quit with the snap chat. I'm not even that old and admittedly don't use that dumb shit but so many posts here makes it clear it's getting in the way of developing confidinice IN REAL LIFE. edit: and yes you blew it. live and learn.

once you turn 30 you'll have completely forgotten that people were once categorized as popular/not popular. figure out which one of her friends is cuter and go for that girl instead.

I bought a flip phone 2 years ago and it changed my life. just bullshit it with girls and most importantly treat them as equals. Have fun with them and dash in some light teasing. do not neg unless you know what the fuck you're doing. what changed things for me mostly was doing a seasonal job and living with 5 girls (get a housekeeping gig on coolworks.com you'll definitely be living in close quarters employee housing) and realize they are just humans that wanna have fun (and fuck). Honestly jus…

Not sure cause I haven't read it, but in the new one her overall thesis focuses on vulnerability which she developed after a bunch of new research from her last book. From what I understand, is her more updated model of cultivating honest and open relationships with the people in your life.

nope I haven't, in her new book she has done a bunch more research into this field so I'd prob go with the new one, draws on a lot of the themes in models in a non-seduction style analysis.. more about self improvement and overall relationships. it's a pretty accessible quick read. my library had a couple copies so i'd check there first.

Definitely check out Daring Greatly by Brienne Brown, she is the one that gave the famous ted talk on vulnerability, extends to all aspects of relationships with other people in your life.. Ties in very nicely with models.

thought I'd post this here since I recently picked up Models by MM and this talk really helps me understand the psychology behind vulnerabilty a little deeper.. she discusses some great ways we can cultivate a sense of worthiness (I'm kind of interpreting this here as anti-neediness), helping to create more meaningful connections, trust ourselves fully and whole heartedly, and to take big leaps into the unknown without judgement.. Just trust yourself and go with the flow.

I read both of his books after watching Tyler D's Blueprint Decoded (I feel like a lot of his inner game teachings are adapted from Tolle's messages) and basically you have it right on. What Tolle explains is that you have to let go of the mental construction you've created about yourself–the ego, which includes all personal identification with thoughts about your past and future, and who you think you are (i.e. not giving a fuck). And to answer panoosa's question, according to Tolle love is pos…

Well I guess it isn't for everyone, but you are only going to improve your situation if you take action and do something about it. Living in a house with a few chill people is probably a lot different than a dorm room situation but you should definitely try to work through some of these issues. Are you still taking meds? Maybe you should try to ween off of those since you already know it's making things harder for you. If you need to chill out just smoke a fat bowl.

I rent a room in the suburbs and I live with an old lady who is dying. Haha dude you have to get out of that situation. That's probably where most of your problems are coming from. Not only does that sound incredibly depressing, If you met a girl could you even bring her back and not feel bad about banging her while the old lady in the other room might croak any second? I didn't really even try making friends at school (started comm. college nearby when I moved in) since there were always new pe…

What is your living situation like? When I was 20 I had just broken up with my GF of 3 years and had almost no social life/depressed all the time, so after realizing I wanted more out of life and to meet new fun people I decided to take action and check out craigslist. Found a room in a house close to the city that same day with 5 people looking for a new roomie (3 girls, 2 guys), and moved in a week later. They key is to find a place that has a good ratio of girls/guys and everyone is pretty go…
