About 60+ hrs w/no alcohol so far. Thoughts & advice pleaseAlcoholic here. First, congratulations for your efforts so far. Seriously, if you want to give it up forever, look for local AA meetings ASAP and attend. Best choice I ever made. | /r/askTRP | 14/06/17 10:38 PM
Before and after: How things have changed since I've lost weightI can verify, 5'10" down to 220 from 319 and people absolutely treat me different. Looking forward to getting down under 200 next :) | /r/TheRedPill | 25/10/16 04:14 PM
On tipping waitresses...You realize in most restaurants, your server is getting paid significantly less than minimum wage, with the assumption being they will make minimum wage at least after factoring in tips? The standard for tipping is 15% of your check total. You didn't include what your check total was, so it's hard to know how much of an asshole you were, but either way, unless your check came to a dollar, tipping that waitress 15 cents was a giant dick move, and makes you a pretty shitty person. | /r/askTRP | 25/09/15 10:37 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatSo, I like your post, and I think there's a lot of good info. But I think the "you can't lose weight without a gym" bit is a load of BS. I've lost 80 lbs this year, 60 since April without the use of a gym. Just stricter controls on my diet, maintaining a caloric deficit and physical activity to the point of sweating at least once a day. Typically I'll walk 4 miles a day when I can, and during my work day I get up from my desk to take short walks, climb a couple flights of stairs, etc. I also try… | /r/TheRedPill | 15/09/15 07:17 PM
Various ramblings of a divorced 37 year oldI totally agree. Mine are 10 and 7. I don't know that she's said anything negative about me to them, but I know I never will to them about her. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's an insane bitch and I feel sorry that she's so fucked in the head but she's their mother either way. And adult problems don't need to be put on the kids. She moved her new boyfriend in with her and our kids 4 weeks after I moved out, even though I asked her to wait to give them time to adjust. The new boyfriend sounds li… | /r/TheRedPill | 15/09/15 04:18 PM

Various ramblings of a divorced 37 year oldIf I could completely cut contact I would, but where we have kids communication is still necessary. But I'll never let her see me hurting again and I know how much that drives her crazy. My success is giving her hamster a stroke. Thanks for the words :) | /r/TheRedPill | 15/09/15 03:10 PM
Various ramblings of a divorced 37 year oldBeen lurking for a while and absorbing everything I can, but had to post on this one. 32, married 10 years until April. Caught her with a coworkers dick pic on her phone. Two kids. Man, did it suck at first. Depression and alcohol abuse. But I pretty quickly started focusing on self improvement even before I found TRP. So far this year i've lost 80 lbs, been promoted at work after passing a new IT certification, and i'm about to finally move into a new apartment on my own. The fact that I haven'… | /r/TheRedPill | 14/09/15 11:31 PM
