wish I could’ve told this to myself a year ago when i wrote straight up novels to my ex after he cheated onme and left me for a server at his restaurant. I was so embarrassed I had to delete the whole text thread to pretend it never existed lmao You guys make me relive some seriously cringe-worthy shit that I’ve done but you have also saved me from so much present day grief

My dude, you did what you could, anything else would be effort that you shouldn’t waste on a marriage that will probably go to shit anyway.

When I first discovered men don’t wipe after they pee I just. Could not look at them the same. The overall respect I had for them dropped a notch, I’ll tell you that much

This fucked me up so bad with one ex that I had. He cheated on me and left me for a coworker and although we dated for a year and he was the least emotional person who who constantly accuse me of cheating, and then would push me away when I tried to show him extra affection to prove that I didn’t cheat. When he ended things I called him out on all of the shit he denied me and he claimed that I was just too much and I wanted too much. A month into dating her he was showing her off and traveling w…

Yo I got you. These episodes got me through some really dark times in my life. Feel free to PM me whenever if you have a lot of feelings about them and no one to talk to about it. I love hearing people’s takes on the episodes!!!

Someone great is such a feel good movie :’) And While I recommend binging this whole series, here’s a list of the heavy hitters and the important lessons you learn watching through S1 Ep 11 Downer Ending S1 Ep 12 Later has mad Fear and Loathing vibes with a hint of self loathing. You basically get to see Bojack at his first rock bottom, but what I like about this show is that there’s no set resolution. Things don’t just get better, he pays his dues and permanently ruins his image and his relatio…

Can’t find that on pornhub, it’s too niche. Probably why men never do it

Even before FDS I’ve refused to send nudes. I work in a very male dominated field with little to no HR dept which means I know that every boyfriend and husband that I’ve ever met has shown his girl’s nudes to me or whoever they feel like bragging to at the time. This is occurs when they’re sober or drunk, while they’re still in the relationship or broken up. They don’t care, you’ve just become another thing to get hard to.

Bit of a long story but this is the first and last time I was ever the ‘other girl’: I was a cook [20f] at a restaurant, and he was my chef, aka my boss [29f]. I really admired how talented he was at the time, I thought the world of him. I also had a lot of severe mental issues including a serious eating disorder (lol the irony), and what was initially thought to be depression and anxiety (earlier this year it was confirmed that I actually have BPD). My self esteem was at its lowest. After worki…

I.....really like this. Like, the coffin was closed but this convinced me to put the nails in it too, just in case. Thank you so much.

Huh. I didn’t see it that way. Thanks! She texted me earlier saying she hopes he and I stay friends but I’ll explain why that’s not going to happen. Appreciate the input, I’m pretty new to this whole “putting myself first” thing, so it’s nice to be guided towards the right direction here and there when I’m feeling hesitant.

You’re right. Honestly, I have enough friends, so cutting him off wouldn’t be that big of a loss. Would that mean having to avoid his sister as well, as they live together? She says she still wants to stay friends with me and we’re really close (she’s a food writer, I’m a sous chef, I occasionally help with article ideas, etc.) I guess I’m worried that cutting him off entirely will result in our friendship ending or becoming strained.

The sad thing is I thought he treated me great in the beginning, which is why I pointed out that his only downfalls then were money and just not taking his career seriously. I’m starting to realize that it could be due to the fact that I was in a really bad state when I met him. But that makes sense, I don’t wanna screw with his head or anything. Thanks for the advice :)

“and I’m not talking about meth” Sir, you’re the only one talking about meth The amount of men who think adding a shit joke to their profile makes them more approachable I swear

Been focusing on #6 recently and it just feels like this giant weight has lifted from me. Who would’ve thought that prioritizing my needs and expectations over random trash would do so much for my confidence and self esteem
