Lol this is a bad faith subreddit?

Some of the blame is on men too. Some men are orbiters. They are vultures circling for a carcass. Women know that they are there and make their contingency plans accordingly. The boyfriend/husband gets accused of jealousy when calling out the obvious orbit

Sex is a powerful tool for pair bonding. Paying a sex worker kind of reduces it to selfish gratification. But that works for certain people and there are many places where it is legal and acceptable

I think this says more about where we are as a society than anything particular to men’s rights. People usually wouldn’t dare do that without the risk of getting shot

Lol, domesticated dogs live longer on average than those in the wild too. Protect your testosterone

I think moving somewhere with like-minded people and going to a church there. You will need to make friends and rebuild. At 45 you can bounce back quickly

End game might be South Korea. No burden of motherhood. It will allow the poorer more traditional nations to rise to prominence and repeat the cycle.

Eh, I’m actually on board here. Have you seen who the bulk of government pension collecting employees are? It’s disproportionately female. They tend to be overweight and unhappy though so I don’t know if they actually live to 78

Yah it’s depressing to focus on the macro trends. However, you can find or create small communities where folks have healthy gender relationships

That is awesome, wishing you the best in this endeavor

Happily married. Share the same religion, values and culture. She works as a teacher and tells me how hard it is for young boys who are over medicated and missing father figures. Made me look into the issue and see how misandrist society’s become

Worship God, not men
/r/MensRights20/02/24 07:18 PM

The fakes get spotted out rather easily. A good Christian father would vet these guys. What happens is that certain guys legit convert (take the godpill) and realize that the way of life is indeed better

The homeless population is disproportionally men. Women occupy the vast middle of the bell curve so it would make sense that they are the majority of homeowners

Very true. Don’t think we get lectured as much about male privilege in times of war though
/r/MensRights06/02/24 08:07 PM

When people talk about “male privilege”, nowadays they only refer to the top 20% in the status hierarchy. Often the top 1%. I guess the privilege now is that we’re not conscripted fodder for some nobleman’s war or subsistence serf labor like regular dudes of the past.

Damn that sounds awful. You are a mentally strong person so be able to deal with all that

The risk will never be zero. But it can be greatly mitigated. Are you going to move through life never interacting with women? That would be impossible. Just need to tread carefully
/r/MensRights31/01/24 03:06 AM

A great piece of advice I received for interacting with women - “as a man, you are a creep until proven otherwise”. This makes situations involving unfamiliar women fraught with risk. I tend to avoid engaging unless my wife or trusted female coworker is present

Very true. I would venture to say most are not. The extremes tend to be loud and perpetually online

For most of human history its always been “mommy’s baby and daddy’s maybe”. Only difference now is accurate paternity tests

Thats a pretty large gap. I did the cougar thing in college and it honestly feels degrading. These were career women 10-15 years older who were childfree. Its fun and exciting for the moment, but I think it caused me to miss out on opportunities with women my age and stage of life

Wouldn’t the “lady” have to be taking hormones the whole time? How does one not notice for 19 years?

Lol is this the Babylon Bee masquerading as Yahoo? Am I able to take sick leave from work due to getting digitally meta-raped? Asking for a friend

More gender-bending where guys are encouraged to transition MTF or become feminized on one extreme. The other extreme is militant men drawn to misogynistic beliefs like radical Islam. Men tend to be the gender of extremes. Unfortunately that will mean that they also get blamed for being pushed/drawn to these fringes

This is a bigger issue than the social media issues with girls that Haidt loves to point out. At least with social media, parents can help their daughters opt out. Boys in public school have no other option than being force-fed the feminist ideology

Men still have to be useful. I think the meta is going into the trades. Men can sell their labor or go off the grid.

Of course you should have platonic female friends. But you better have an inner circle of trusted male friends - those are the guys who will really look out for you and stick around
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 01:03 AM

It would at least force the conversation. The man can get a private test afterwards if that is the case
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 09:32 PM

Perhaps instead of a mandatory paternity test, it should be an opt out process. Such as with the organ donor registry for drivers. If people are assured of paternity they should be able to simply check off the opt out box to skip the testing

That’s a diabla - the feminist label is just a cover. They are straight up misandrist who target wealthy men. So I guess its even worse

The field seems utterly corrupt. I think the reason guys like Jordan Peterson and David Goggins are popular is because they are a more effective “therapy” since they have a reasonable understanding of men

Plenty of women already doing this and living their best lives. Passportbros is a thing. Is that considered dropping out as well? Technically so was mgtow but that got co-opted by the incels.

We are slowly moving back to a Pareto distribution for woman to men by destroying the judaeo-christian values of marriage It satisfies hypergamy for women since they will share a higher value man, but most men will be indeed expendable. My guess is that the feminist are okay with this arrangement

Perhaps modern women will engage in role reversal where they date younger virile men - perhaps from developing nations. They may not be intellectual equals but they would provide the traditional masculine traits women desire with lower risk of the expectations of Western men. I see it kind of happening on trash reality TV like 90 day fiancé

Yeah most are taken. Sometimes they are wrecked by bad women and become damaged men. Can be rehabbed but that takes work

It is still distinguishable from reality. I do fear when the VR sexbots or striking vipers implants are available… that will be the end of us

Many studies show we are not the men our ancestors were. https://www.urologytimes.com/view/testosterone-levels-show-steady-decrease-among-young-us-men The book Countdown by Shanna Swan lays out the issue well

My experience is the same. I notice most men tend to have tight communities and friend groups. The women have volunteering groups, clubs, etc. which are surface level relationships, but rarely do I see them have the tight knit “sisterhoods” that we see in media. There’s definitely odd loner guys, but they tend be anomalies. Guys tend to find their pack/tribe. So many professional women I meet use/have used Bumble BFF. But I’ve never met a professional man who has

I think the mainstream would blame weak men and absent fathers for this phenomenon. Single mothers enmesh themselves in their sons or create the “son-husband” as a cope. They overlook the fact that our society has incentivized weak and absent men in the family for decades. Its no wonder why guys like Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson are so popular. We all grew up in these families and are looking for that strong male role model to escape the clutches of the devouring mother

Build a band of brothers or tribe of men. Shared positive activities such as sports or fitness are a good start. Even church groups where guys are doing carpentry or building things together. America loves to portray men as the capable lone wolf, but we are much stronger and healthier as a pack.

The women can also get away with this in public. I was at a large birthday party at a public restaurant/club for a young woman where she was physically assaulting her boyfriend while intoxicated. That guy decided to walk out on the party and the girl dissolves into a puddle of tears. The rest of the party (guys and girls) demonize the boyfriend for walking out and console the girl. I was silent but wanted to defend the boyfriend who was getting punched and kicked by this girl. But to do so might…

Nope. But on elevators if its just a young woman and myself, I’ve opted for the stairs. A mini workout and not taking the small chance of a fake #metoo moment. You can usually tell by the way they dress and look at you the risk level. Also never do those shared Uber rides or sit next to a single woman on public transit

It feels worthwhile if you are appreciated for it. The problem is when its just expected, the demand gets ever greater and you are disdained for not providing more. I have several high achieving friends caught in this trap. Be careful with who you marry and more so with who you have kids with. On the flipside, I know men of modest means who have appreciative, loving families. They are happy workhorse providers

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I made the mistake of dating a crazy one in my early 20s. She got violently drunk during her birthday and threatened me in front of her cousins and friends. At the time we had only been dating a short time. I left her after that event and was harassed/stalked for the next 10 years. Had to move, change my email and phone number. She even angled her way into my high school friend group. Police did nothing even when she harassed my current girlfiend and would…
