The Call of the Wild, by Jack London Thanks for this. My son loved it. First book he read from beginning to end that was not mandated as a school read...

Well, i have have my doubts about this being posted by a girl. Just doesn't sound right. That being said, as a german, i'm not an expert on english language. Still, i know a couple of guys that are financially independent. They all have a couple of things in common. One of these things is that, while they might not be frugal about their living, they sure didn't get "rich" by throwing away money. And they are all very aware of women who are only out for the money, so they will actively screen for…

embedded in our DNA. Yes that's obviously a projection and you're right. I went a little overboard with that. But, although neither is encoded in our dna, i still want to emphasize the difference between ethics (like, don't kill anybody who doesn't threat you or the life of those close to you). And morality (be a gentleman...) This, in my opinion, is a very interesting topic. Often, these two are intermingled in the common narrative, while they should not. Finding Marcus Aurelius mentioned in th…

Great read. I want to add that, as i understand it, there's always been a difference in morality, which is imposed from a cultural environment, and can be very complex, to ethics, which are pretty simple, same as that babies response, ingrained to us on a deeper level. Don't take another's food away, because that is his sustenance, and without food, you will die. Confucius said "Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself." Kant, Hobbes, Jesus and countless others proposed that…

So sorry for your uncle. Happens to the best of us. Redpill is, just like business, one of the things that you'll most likely learn via life, which isn't a kind way of learning. "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnin…

Being german, and a father to both boys and girls i think that the culture is still different, at least for some time, hopefully. In fact, it's probably rooted in our culture, even the girls being pretty reasonable. We teach them to be outspoken, responsible, boys and girls, and that's all we do. They'll figure the rest out by themselves. It's not difficult to get good sex in a good relationship, with the right partner, and trust. And we have to give that trust, as parents, at some point, too. I…

If you're in germany, move to bavaria. No one's ever gonna pull this shit here (meaning a lesbian feminist in charge of your country). If that ever happens, bavaria is probably gonna secede from germany... And, at least, my son will have the Bayerische Staatsangehörigkeit. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayerische_Staatsangeh%C3%B6rigkeit

cheers, mate. I learned a lot here, and have started to pass on select advice to my teenage son. Thanks to all of you guys. This place is invaluable.

Step up, encourage you dad whenever possible, and try to be a paragon for your younger brothers. I used to be your dad, 38 now and my son is 12. My ex-wife is beautiful, smart, always gets what she wants, and has many psychological issues. I married her when i was very young and so blue pill, i sometimes want to slap myself in the face for that ;) After a similar relationship (in addition to your dad's story, I was the one to educate and take care of my son), when i woke up, it got nasty. After …

A couple of months ago, i watched an old movie "A streetcar named desire", very impressed with Marlon Brando's portrayal of an AF. Not your typical RC, that was.
