This guy is a Martyr. Sad someone had to die for change to be in enacted.

I suppose but what's the point? You gotta take it off eventually? Plus if you're always wearing hats because you're bald it probably seems like you're insecure about the whole thing.

Yeah but that's like cheating

Good response. Yeah as far as the hair goes it seems keeping it as shaved as possible is the best look. Beyond that dressing well and getting bigger at the gym are probably the two most effective things i can do. I can grow nice facial hair as well which never hurts.

Good point. I don't know how recently this death occurred. Could've been ten years ago for all I know.

Got you, this is a great post. I guess I'm just a pretty personal kind of guy so I would never bring something like that up to someone I don't know...but that doesn't mean that person is crazy.
/r/askTRP28/08/15 02:28 AM

Yeah I thought that too. She seemed like a pretty open minded person on many other fronts, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured it may just be a coping method. She didn't strike me as a religious person, I think she's just holding onto hope in that one department. Not the craziest thing ever.

Interesting. Always afraid of bringing a foreign girl back in case they just want citizenship...

Isn't a huge premise of TRP that feminism has fucked up what would be the natural roles of women in society?

I'm on the shorter side. Clearly this dudes game had more to it than just a height advantage, stop making excuses.

How does one say "I like the way your ass looks in that dress" and not get slapped? Did you say it straight faced or in a joking way?

Since we've established that status and financial security are generally the most important things to females, and he lost both those things, wouldn't one assume that's why she divorced him?

Really limits your options of getting laid living in a liberal part of the country. 30-40% of girls I meet probably consider themselves feminists, it's fucking awful

This was my plan. Roger that.

Fair enough, I'm forever a skeptic so I'll examine this more closely.

India has arranged marriages, and an incredibly low divorce rate. I don't see that being more feminist than the west. Why do you think that is so? Perhaps Singapore, Indonesia may become incredibly powerful...but not the ME or north africa.
/r/TheRedPill18/06/15 06:24 PM
3

No way. India is far more likely. fundamentalism and corruption are going to keep the Arab world in the dark for a long, long time. India is a democracy, grew at a faster rate than china in the last year, is becoming both a tech hub and a manufacturing hub, AND has more traditional roles with family without all the terrorism and sharia law. Brazil too is gonna be a big player.

I've always found men generally better to converse with. That said, my problem has always been having a scarcity mentality when I meet that 1 in 20 female.

Or love someone with a prenup contract.

I've never been cheated on but always thought it'd be easier to get over than someone slowly losing interest in you and leaving you in a respectable manner simply because they don't like you as much as you like them. At least with a cheater you see their true colors come to light and can just say "fuck that whore, I deserve better anyway."
/r/TheRedPill18/06/15 04:32 PM
1

Yes! I have to say, I read neil strauss's book a few years ago and it did next to nothing for me. TRP is amazing because it's not like learning magic tricks to get you laid, it's a complete change in mentality that makes you happier.
/r/TheRedPill18/06/15 04:24 PM
2

Being a skeptic does not make you a conspiracy theorist. Most Americans (according to polling) believe there was more to 9/11 and the JFK assassination than we are told in school. You become a Conspiracy theorist when you connect the dots by filling in the blanks with unproveable assumptions.
/r/TheRedPill18/06/15 04:08 PM
1

So much truth in this. As someone new to TRP, it's both empowering and kind of scary to accept this. I've believed in oneitus my whole life...yeah I've always been happy, but always thought I would be MORE happy once I have a family and wife blahblah. It's simply not true. I can be fufilled right now without leaning on anyone else as a crutch. Besides, no ones approval and love ever brings long term happiness.

Honestly it shit doesn't pan out the way I want it here I'm going to do exactly what that guy did. He lives in a cheap (relative to american pricing) apartment on the beach. His retirement allows him to live like a king.

I know some guy that divorced his wife, moved/retired to Thailand, and married a nice Thai woman. She knows he has no intention of ever going back to the US. She cooks for him every night and he believes she is a much better partner than his first wife ever was. Living the dream.
/r/TheRedPill16/06/15 11:13 PM

Yup. You're dead right. Attending graduate school in the northeast right now is terrifying. The amount of women who feel like they have to consider themselves feminists is scary. My little sister said she thought feminism was a good thing and I straightened her out pretty fast. It's gotten to a point where women feel like they have to be feminists otherwise they are oppressing themselves and supporting the patriarchy. I'm thinking about moving south or to a more "traditional" part of the country…

It kind of blows my mind how seemingly innocent women are down with cheating. I could get with this one girl right now with a BF but my conscious always stop me. Is that BP? Idk. Probably.

This made me laugh for some reason. You almost have to laugh at how fucked up the human race is sometimes.

What you said about feminists not liking feminist men is so true. When I was in college, I took a women's gender and sexuality course basically to meet women, as I figured it would be a class made up almost entirely of women. I knew very little about feminism, other than that it was supposed to empower women or some bullshit. It was amazing how much the teacher looked down on me and the other two males in the class. I dropped it after a week. At one point the instructor gave a lesson about how b…

I gave up porn but still fap daily. Time to break this, ever since I started reading TRP I knew it had to be done. If I'm not getting laid, my brain needs to actually realize that.

Yeah, perhaps doing what I'm doing with more light touching, better body language (something im working on a lot more), and more practice to give me a calm demeanor is all I need. Thanks for the encouragement.

I always try to find an excuse to start talking to someone, "do you have a pen?", "I can't find the God damn lettuce" (lol), etc. etc. to cold approach 10 people a day I feel like I'd almost have to just walk up to woman and say hey what's up on the street. Good idea?
/r/TheRedPill16/06/15 12:33 AM

Thanks man. That one study basically shows that changing your posture actually changes the amount of testosterone your brain releases (in a good way). This is well beyond faking it till you make it, remember that! But yeah, it still does feel like I'm faking it. :)

I do think it matters. I would like to move up in the business world one day or maybe take on some kind of local political role, so I would have to nail this stuff down for that either way. I also think it would improve my interactions with females and people in general. Certainly I'm being a little self conscious but how is one to improve if they first can't identify their weaknesses?

Meh, there may be some truth to this...there are women who have never cheated that would given the proper circumstances. But what are the "right circumstances?" Maybe they would only cheat if Leonardo Dicaprio hit them up to go on a tropical island getaway. There is definitely a spectrum, ranging from Cheating Slut to Loyal Partner. Many women don't want to see themselves as a cheater, it's beyond whether or not they can get away with it. It's probably not worth the emotional trauma to a lot of …

Just read this, the discrepancies in the responses are pretty amazing. I don't think someone is "beta" if the points mentioned in the OP don't help them...a lot of the wisdom in the OP can only be properly absorbed by certain personality types...and that's fine. The OP really helps me. To me it means nothing really matters, but I can create meaning if I so choose. In other words, I'm in complete control of my universe. Hey, I'm going by what I've seen on college campuses throughout the northeast. Anyone I talk to here generally agrees with me. I should've said attractive white girls, fwiw.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to San francisco and San Diego in a few weeks so I'll keep my eyes open for this. I do find it hard to believe the south and flyover states are more progressive in terms of dating than mid range northeast cities.

So true. Ironically I've been hanging out with a girl lately who I'm having great conversations with...yet she is a hardcore feminist. I can't decide whether I should shit on her worldview or just ignore it completely.

Doesn't the fact that it's "kept on the down low" further reinforce my original statement? I rarely see attractive white women dating minorities.

White guys definitely date outside their own race more than white girls.
/r/askTRP12/06/15 01:15 PM

Yeah, white girls usually stick to white guys in the US. It's a constant reminder of how shallow/status oriented they really are. FWIW I'm white.

Short, artsy girls. Often bordering on hipster or some kind of "alternative" bullshit. Sometimes cute, sometimes not. It's probably because I'm an ex chronic pot smoker and I give off that vibe. I also rock a beard. Everyone assumes I majored in something liberal arts-esque, even though I'm becoming a CPA.

Idk bro, I'm all about succeeding but the 1% in SA haven't done shit to earn their wealth. They are born into it and leave everyone else out to dry. While many of America's 1% are born into it also, you only have to go back 1, 2, or 3 generations to find some poor immigrant who rose from the ashes and conquered. All of this, of course, in a far less corrupt and more fair system. THAT is alpha as fuck.
/r/TheRedPill12/06/15 04:11 AM

This is a good point too. I'm not even sure if I actually would be attracted to a woman like I described. It's easy to imagine such a person in my head being perfect. Time to get past this petty fantasy.
/r/TheRedPill12/06/15 03:55 AM

Yeah. Better to accept the realities of dating than live in an idealistic fairyland.

Kinda disagree. While reddit is often a circle jerk and it rubs me off the wrong way sometimes, I think it's no coincedence that Reddit is dominated by males. What most redditors have in common is a common search for knowledge, wisdom, or an attempt to learn more about a respective topic or plethora of subjects. You can learn an unbelievable amount of information in an incredibly efficient manner on reddit, while engaging in thoughtful discussions regarding said information. Why do you think Red…

It's amazing because they are portrayed as the "deeper" of the two genders. Men are stereotyped as only caring about sex thus meaning we are spiritually dead.
/r/TheRedPill11/06/15 08:45 PM

I knew some girl who went to an Ivy league school for graduate school, was nearly a perfect student in physics and acted so fucking dumb around males. It's amazing really.

Yeah I've also noticed women are way more likely than men to believe in horoscopes. My most recent hook up was somewhat stunned I had the same sign as her ex boyfriend. That meant absolutely nothing to me.
/r/TheRedPill11/06/15 08:32 PM

I've lived in Europe and women have better conversations there...straight up

Yeah it's tough because those are my interests. idk what else to do when talking to a female besides general flirting, which works I suppose.
/r/TheRedPill11/06/15 06:11 PM

Fair enough. It's going to take a legitimate philosophical change in how I think to get the women I want and improve my outlook on life/attitude about myself. I already have done well in school and worked out a lot at the gym, so just working on those things alone isn't going to do it. I think absorbing TRP can be a game changer, however. I just keep reminding myself a few basic things: there is an abundance of women, what women think of me literally does not matter, etc. and it's already making…

Gotcha. Is making jokes about oneself a bad move? I do this somewhat often and on one hand it makes me feel like I don't take myself too seriously which implies confidence...on the other hand im making a joke out of myself. Ie - some girl hated on me for not going to bars that much and I said "yeah I'm basically an old man."
/r/askTRP10/06/15 09:59 PM
2

Perfect, thank you.
/r/askTRP10/06/15 09:48 PM
1

Gotcha. I think I did take agree and amplify a bit literally...basically the goal is to illustrate the absurdity of the question and reject the general premise by agreeing and amplifying, no? Aka use sarcasm? I did sort of realize that, but also thought it kind of meant actually owning the criticism and not caring. Fyi in this context I didn't frame my reply in a very serious manner, I don't think it came off as confrontational.
/r/askTRP10/06/15 09:39 PM

I'm here to learn. So I usually want to spin it off into a joke when shit tested like that ? Should I have said "I'm as depressed as they come" as a joke?
/r/askTRP10/06/15 09:26 PM
1

Good post. I'm a pretty outgoing person and have no problem meeting women (or people) wherever. The only question I'll ask in regards to your perspective is what about having children? Doesn't finding a proper LTR one day mean that said woman has some kind of legitimate value? Perhaps you don't want that and that's fine, but I'd like those things one day...and the downside of that is it makes me attach value to women I find to be pretty cool.
/r/TheRedPill10/06/15 08:35 PM
2

I actually used to...then I had a serious health problem and lost all my gains and stopped. I have more of a "runner's body" so I lost years of work in a few months. I was so discouraged and pissed I stopped going...but I decided I'm going to recommit and hit it hard as fuck again thanks to TRP.
/r/TheRedPill10/06/15 04:40 PM

Thanks for the encouragement. I've actually always been relatively good at day game. Have met a lot of girls in the library, grocery, book stores, wherever. I'm more comfortable in those places than a bar because I know those are people I'm more likely to be interested in. I started hitting the gym yesterday. I live home with the parents (graduate school student on summer break) so I have to very actively pursuit social engagements...been brainstorming a lot of ways to meet people. I study for t…

So true, my god. I feel like I set the bar so low and almost never meet girls worth dating! Funny, passionate about something, in touch with herself and the world around her, reasonably intelligent. Rarely ever happens. All the more reason not to put the pussy on the pedestal since they will most likely suck.

This has been a really productive thread for me, really good perspective all around. I read Neil Strauss's book a few years ago, but felt that it would be too impractical to implement his methods in a natural way and kind of walked away from trying to better channel my inner alpha. This subreddit is a whole new ball game - it's very practical and a lot of the advice is provided in a way I feel I can easily apply to my life. I was actually brought here because I failed a shit test with an absolut…
/r/TheRedPill10/06/15 03:02 PM

Yeah I already did prior to making this thread. Will never make that mistake again...I genuinely felt kind of bad so it felt like the right thing to do. But going by my feelings is weak, can't succumb to them. Logic>emotion, it's a man's strength.
/r/askTRP10/06/15 04:10 AM
1

It is scarcity mentality! I think to myself "Most girls suck, this girl is awesome, I NEED to date her." Certainly a flawed way of thinking...observing it is the first step to changing. I'll check out that book (if it is a book).
/r/TheRedPill10/06/15 12:02 AM
2

Wow that was a great post. I never really considered using that perspective with dating. I certainly do have standards...most girls don't pass the test. My problem is when they do seem dateable, I get obsessive and usually fuck it up. I'll do a complete 180 cause I usually don't care.
/r/TheRedPill09/06/15 11:06 PM
1

Yeah i felt pretty bad about saying that when she told me. That's why I apologized, which was apparently an error. I am full of rookie mistakes.
/r/askTRP09/06/15 07:52 PM
1

Of course. I'm learning a lot from TRP...a lot of things I realized subconsciously but am now actively contemplating. Don't plan on mixing those two again other than from my own couch. Given that I've essentially failed this shit test, I'm probably going to stop talking to this broad. TRP had made me realize I need to stop obsessively seeking validation from females. The sex was damn good/nasty but I don't want to have to do a lot of work to overcome my mistake. Makes me feel too powerless. Than…
/r/askTRP09/06/15 06:24 PM

I've never really pondered this whole "shit test" concept much. It seems pretty diabolic but girls are crazy so it actualy makes a lot of sense. I already did sort of apologize. I was kind of embarassed by the whole thing and it made sense in the moment. Should've known, I need to stop looking for smooth sailing with women all the time.
/r/askTRP09/06/15 06:05 PM
1

Will do. I just started reading TRP this week, and liking what I'm seeing so far. Is there a no apologizing rule? Is this because apologizing lowers your SMV?

I remember when I was 18, I told the first girl I hooked up with at college that "it's only creepy when you don't like it." She laughed for a good 15 seconds because she knew it was true.
/r/TheRedPill09/06/15 04:16 AM

Yeah, this always certainly gets there attention. After they answer the question, I usually say exactly what you wrote "Ok good, just had to check to make sure we would get along. You passed the first test". After doing that 3 times, no one responded to that text, so I guess that'll have to change. Also, I've gotten 9 watermelons and 0 pancake orgasms. Don't worry, I'm changing the questions now but originally I wanted to stick to the formula
