Good post, and I know exactly what you mean. But I think what this really is, is that it's difficult to change someone's opinion of you once it's already been formed and solidified. You need to be high value from the word go. Increasing your value (and options) are key, but improving your mentality will also help with new people you're meeting. Not with people who already think you're a loser. If you adopt a confident & IDGAF attitude with new women, it will help tremendously.

Yes experience helps, and teaches you not to act on these thoughts. I think women can be needy all they want, and would actually argue that it's their default setting. Whereas men can't be like that.

Yeah it's possible for a very short period of time. If you've been training for many many years, you need a calorie surplus to gain any appreciable muscle. It's a pain in the ass.

I've been in love before, and it never caused her to fall out of love with me. I ended up leaving her. My brother has done the same too actually. Are you sure you're not mistaking love for neediness or "One-itis"? Those definitely both turn women off and cause them to leave :)

High SMV doesn't necessarily mean the girl is highly attracted to you. There are many high SMV guys who are completely dominated by their wives/girlfriends. This surely isn't the goal. At least I hope not. Hence, why BlackDragon made this post. Other factors are often more important.

Would you say it's because you got needy, rather than it being purely an SMV issue?

Excellent post! I think there is too much focus on looks and money (and their importance regarding hypergamy). I know several good-looking dudes who are on over six figures (several pilots, a couple of doctors), and according to Hypergamy these guys are the "Ideal" to strive for. But they're married (and controlled) by average-looking, dominant wives. You have to ask yourself why... I would argue confidence & outcome independence are the baseline requirements (rather than looks and money). Witho…

Tbf I don't disagree with anything you just said. And to be clear, I'm not advocating anyone getting fat, obviously that's stupid. But my real point is that gaining muscle absolutely does not mean that you'll suddenly become shredded. People can come up with menaingless calculations all they like about how muscle burns more calories than fat. It's meaningless. Eating less food than you need causes fat loss.

Exactly, it's the cut (i.e your diet) that makes you lose fat. Nothing to do with strength training or gaining muscle.

Naxral, I've heard theorising such as this thousands of times before. It doesn't work like that in the real world. Yes more muscle raises your BMR. But to gain this muscle, and to keep on gaining more muscle, you need to eat A LOT more calories than whatever your maintenance is at the time. This means you are gaining body fat, my friend.

If you're keen on building muscle and strength - free weights. If all you want is general fitness and maybe a little fat loss - bodyweight.

Great post. Reminds me of an extremely skinny-fat family member. He would always say: "Look at me I'm in great shape for my age, just look at "X Obese person", I'm nothing like them." I don't have the desire to tell him the only thing separating him from them is bone structure. The puffy face always gives it away.

How much work do you find it to maintain 10% body fat? Do you think it's objectively harder than actually getting there? Or is it more to do with expectations? I.e was your mindset "I can just relax now, all the work is done."

Look, I know they can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but you need them. Having a harem is better than having nothing. Common sense, not weakness

MGTOW is fine, but don't expect it to make you happy (which is more or less the goal of life). Denying basic biology is absolutely not a path to happiness. Yes goals, purpose, money & business should be prioritised before women, so you never want to worship sex. Men who worship sex end up wasting a lot of time, but at least they're not depressed. The other extreme is a path to misery.

Inconsistency & irrationality isn't necessarily terrible. The way I look at it is this: If this "ridiculous" behaviour is really impacting me personally (i.e. she's giving me direct drama), she won't see me again. But if it's not directed at me, then it's fine. If she's complaining about her friend, that's fine. Positives: Many are very, very interesting to talk to. I think if you want to talk about more serious stuff, like money, business/career and self-improvement, then guys are better. But i…

It's about expectations. If you expect women to be inconsistent, irrational and overly reactive, then you get used to it and you end up loving them. There's plenty of positives that women bring to the table - the world would be a boring, depressing place without them. Just look at how many MGTOW's are depressed on their forums

I don't see any ego issues here, it's common sense. If a girl ghosts twice, she's just after attention. The test is always (obviously you don't say this): Well this is all very nice, but are you actually going to meet me on a date? If the answer is no, then no more attention for you.

Yeah that's the thing, guys who weigh around 100 kilos (for example) can afford to add 2.5kg to the bar every week for quite a while, as it doesn't affect them that much. For guys like you and myself, a 2.5kg increase has more of a relative impact on our recovery, unless you have outrageous genetics. It's simply a far greater % of our bodyweight.

Eventually it becomes impossible to keep adding weight to the bar every single week. Especially if you're smaller...how heavy are you? Another great way to progress every week is just adding a set. E.g Wk 1 - 2x5, Wk 2 - 3x5, Wk 3 - 4x5, Wk 4 - 5x5, Wk 5 - Deload. Then Wk 6 add weight to the bar & start again at 2x5

Yeah the impression I get is that they are screening for "The Perfect Boyfriend™", (read:compliant nice-guy who does as he's damn well told). Yeah Tinder is a different ball-game in cities it seems! Very easy to get what you want.

A little statistic I've recently found... In the 2 cities I have lived in since Tinder became a thing; Nottingham & Madrid, 40% of the girls I moved from Tinder and onto texting ended up meeting up with me. Now I live in a small town, I have tried out the same strategy, and successfully got loads of girls off Tinder and onto texting. And so far, guess what? Only 5% of those have actually met up with me. The percentage of women who are time-wasters goes up SIGNIFICANTLY outside of cities, at leas…

In my experience it is definitely the "no sex tonight" thing. As long as you make sure that you are the one who is always leading, and that you end the date, not her then its fine.

Not being able to compartmentalize sexual desire and emotional desire is an absolute liability - I used to be the same :) In terms of whether it's possible to have One-itis for two women, the clue is in the name really. I think you just need to prioritise your career/business/fitness goals and keep reminding yourself of this. All the time. Keep fucking them and don't sepnd too much time with them.

They are definitely behavioural traits. The way I think about it are that there are pro's and cons to each, and you want the best from each set of behaviours. For example: Alpha - Dominance, Non-Compliance and Non-Neediness Beta - Stability, Maturity, Charm, Warmth There seems to be a stigma against having any Beta traits whatsoever on TRP. Without ANY Beta traits women don't stick around for too long.

The thing with Keto that I find hilarious, is you always get guys going "Yeah Keto is SO AMAZING DUUUUUDE you HAVE to try it!!" (I have done successfully a couple of times several years ago btw) Then you ask them "So how is it working for you now?" and the response you invariably get is something like "Ah well it got too hardcore for me so I'm not on it anymore"........ "So it's not really that great then is it if it stops working?" "NO WTF YOU TALKING ABOUT ITS AMAZING!!" No, what's amazing is …

I think the logic with the 1 set of DL was that they're neurally difficult to recover from. Pushing the volume too far with newbs is going to bury them. I woudn't advise completely skipping deadlifts. There are just too many benefits that you wouldn't get through squats alone. One (relatively) hard set can achieve a lot :)

Another thing that helps SO much with fasting, is coffee. Just one or two coffees during the fasting period really helps with the hunger when you're getting leaner!

I know exactly what you mean mate. I used to binge about 5-6 years ago, granted I was never fat, but I can tell you now it came from lower self-esteem. Low self-esteem leaves a gaping hole that tends to be filled with some kind of addiction. In our cases in the past, it was food. I'm currently bulking and struggling to eat enough calories - that was unheard of 5-6 years ago!
