I don't think they're gonna care that much

No, he should take this as a message that building your career on being the low status guy has a ceiling. His potential for respect and happiness is limited by the box he's placed himself in.

Marriage is the backbone of civilization. Good advice though if you want to live in a chaotic cro-magnon style society and watch everything good devolve so you can get your dick wet commitment free.

Women don't have to be inclusive for the sake of political correctness when it comes to mate selection. If that is racism then racism is not a bad thing

I'd just like to say that after having clicked through a few links on that website, I can safely say it has the worst comment sections I've ever seen.

Men do do this. They also value other things in a woman like homemaking, cooking, kindness in child rearing. Way to be owned by your base desires.

Phenomenal post man. Almost all of this rings true for me and is backed up by my experiences.

Good lord- how self-centered can one person be? Imagine inviting everyone you know to an event solely so they are forced to watch you prance around by yourself and kiss a mirror. Does this girl have any shame?

'No choice' - the attitude of a child who refuses to take responsibility for his actions. The choice is made when sex happens.

Please point out where I brought up morality in my post.

Not what I said but nice try. My point of contention is that you said men have fatherhood thrust upon him, but anyone with half a brain know having sex risks a kid. And being that women decide whether or not to keep one you better be prepared for that possibility when you want to get your rocks off.

When you have sex you chance producing a child. Despite what the media tells you sex isn't a thing just for pleasure - the pleasure is a biochemical reward for fulfilling the reproductive instinct. Don't excuse the people who leave after making a baby because "they didn't know it could happen." They're morons.

I agree, to an extent, until you start about choosing what is bought and what you eat. If someone has moral qualms about eating meat or labor practices it is laudable to shoulder responsibility and withhold support. Pretending individual actions don't contribute to wider problems is being willfully obtuse.

I'm sure lots of kids wouldn't give a shit about school or chores either if given the choice. Its a good thing, as adults, we can force them to do those things.

I cried reading Where the Red Fern Grows. Why do you fear emotion? Its part of being human. This fetishization of hyper-masculinity even down to the books you read reflects some deeper insecurity. Edit: Cutting out Romeo and Juliet? Think of how influential that play is on our culture. You'd be doing them a disservice to not introduce it at some point.

I have two sisters, but growing up with them and observing their actions doesn't really conflict with the main points made here. I will say my relationship with them keeps me from careening off the cliff of hatred like some of the guys here. Edit: I should say, they keep me from believing hatred is OK. I won't lie that occasionally I feel anger or bitterness about women.

The only women who have ever become interested in me were ones I didn't give a second thought to when I met them or those I actively avoided. Take that as you will.

None of these are funny and are forced attempts to appear sophisticated. People are smarter than this and pick up on such facades easily. OP, just make something up. It doesn't even have to make sense if you just have fun with it.

I don't understand this criticism. Freeing yourself of the burden of women's expectations doesn't mean becoming a narcicistic psychopath. If he forced himself into that mold he is still doing back flips for a woman's approval.
