Isn’t that crazy? Women should be allowed to have abortions and men should be allowed to have paper abortions.

Absolutely. There are plenty of victims of false accusations, but he is not one of them.

Does the UK allow lessers included? Like in some states, the prosecutors can charge you with first degree murder but the jury can convict you of 1st degree murder, second degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, etc. But I know not all countries do that. If she was charged with first degree murder, but she “did it out of anger,” then it’s probably second degree murder.

I mean, that’s how gifting works. And even if you look at it as consideration for a contract, it still physically belongs to whoever received the ring absent some statutory provision saying otherwise. Some states do require the ring to be returned, but most don’t. Moral of the story: don’t exchange expensive rings.

“Because women are out to get him.” Sure, but why does that mean he didn’t do anything illegal? Both things could be true at the same time.

I’m not saying I think he is guilty, but why do you think he is 100% innocent?

I mean, bail is supposed to be individualized. Here’s a guy charged with statutory rape in Boston with a $1,000 bail. Here’s another guy charged with rape in Washington with a $250,000 bail.

Why?

It’s a civil case, so it’s actually “not liable until proven liable.”

I’m confused by what you mean. You understand that complications can arise during pregnancy, right?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
