Attractiveness is also SO subjective…I NOW consider myself an attractive women. Because I am. But also because my “type” is suddenly mainstream: curvy, big hips, small waist, natural hair. But growing up in a colorist society all I saw was that I’m not white, blonde, blue eyed, size 4. And I never thought of myself as attractive. Growing up in the early 00’s when being anorexic-ly thin, flat stomach, low rise jeans, flat iron straight hair was all the rage I didn’t feel attractive. Attractivenes…

It’s refreshing to see an older reading addressing both genders...Both male and female can be “losers”

The first time I went on a date with my HVM...we went salsa dancing (I’m a dancer, he’s not so he mainly sat alone looking at me dance, he’s actually not that into that scene) he got hit on at least 3 times while I was on the dance floor dancing. Afterward when I brought it up he not only admitted that they came up to start conversation but went on to tell me about two other girls and what they were wearing that were eyeing him... First of all, it was the first time in my life a guy admitted to …

My HVM didn’t know what Reddit was when I told him about FDS 😅I was just like “uhhh let’s keep it that way honey” also your title perfectly describes him, he loves the outdoor and is too busy literally saving lives to be on Reddit (he’s a pharmacist distributing vaccines)

Yep same here! I found it to make fun of it kinda like “oh there’s no way they can make guys do that” and then I realized I’ve been making guys catch up to my standards or GTFO most of my life! LOL I had found my safe place finally!

As a women with her late 20s I feel like this is the time to really start vetting guys and fully start taking the FDS to heart and reaping the benefit. . 1. Friend I met while backpacking through Europe 3yrs ago wants to “reconnect”? alright fly me out to an all inclusive resort. He actually did, for 10 days. . 2. Guy I networked once for my job wants to see me again? Dude literally Flew down from a different state and got a beach side hotel for us to stay at over the weekend. . 3. Friend of a f…

wow literally what happened to me...and it happens at all levels! I for one do consider myself hot and smart (majored in economics and international business, salsa instructor etc etc)....and yup my ex cheated on me to level the playing field (he was a neuroscientist!) when you have little self-worth it doesn't matter how much you accomplish or your partner accomplish, you'll always feel inferior and unworthy.

My bf and I started dating a month before Covid, he lives in NJ I’m in Miami (so both huge hot spots) we’ve only been able to see each other three times in the last year. He FaceTime me every morning at 7am before my WFH shifts start (even on his days off, even on the weekends). First time we flew to see each other after 6 months of quarantine and uncertainty (about the relationship and the world) he lit up candles all over the house our first night together, then the next day we were talking an…

I love this! When they do something well that makes us feel loved...we need to tell them! And voice that feeling so that they’re aware of it and encourage them to keep doing so! Beautiful!!! So happy for you

I can attest this works!!! personally I'm not much of a foodie so a nice drink at a nice bar/lounge/hotel/gastropub did the trick...lunch dates works as well, rarely coffee dates, unless both our schedules are crazy and usually I prefer to go get icecream or some type of bakery aka NOT starbucks lol Also I was lucky to work at a place a lot of professionals study at (doctors, architect, CPA, Finance certificates, IT etc. All my ex were either engineers, finance (yuck) or doctors...I did stud…

I agree overall but it goes both ways... Last guy I dated was a neuroscience doctor, top of his class, leader of his church, athlete, musician etc. Was dating long distance for 6 months, would fly out monthly to see me, only to find out 4 months in that he was married in another state 🙄he was a LVM disguised as a HVM and his wife was actually an MD too but the worst pickmeisha!! This was his third time cheating in a three year marriage and she still kept going back to him even made him call me u…
