Here is the copy and paste of the r/rbomi since you don't want to "wade through it" Overview: Many jurisdictions have rape laws that exclude male victims to some extent or another. Sometimes this involves wording the laws so that rape is defined as something that happens to a woman, and sometimes this involves defining rape as something that only a man can do (meaning that a man can legally be raped by another man but not by a woman). Examples/evidence: In the United States, both Idaho and Georg…

The chart in the second link doesn’t support the claim that male and female spousal homicide rates were effectively the same 50 years ago. Elaborate? Also, did you not see this source? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://sites.oxy.edu/clint/evolution/articles/GenderDifferencesinPatternsandTrendsinUSHomicide1976_2015.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjWrPbN_d_rAhXGKM0KHeUQC-IQFjACegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw3ZHlnX2-PAZ5hcU-JekzEe Also, did you not read anything about the "battered wife syndrome theo…

None of that contradicts my point. Men injure and kill women vastly more than women injure or kill men. The links I posted supported that claim. The links you posted don’t contradict it. I didn't say that they contradicted your claim. Although rates of injury and death are higher in women, the rates of violent and aggressive behaviors physically is the same. Again, if you take an abusive behavior like punching, which is likely to do more damage, a man punching a woman or a woman punching a man? …

Pt 2 There is also research that lesbian/bisexual women in same sex relationships experience the highest levels of domestic violence out of any other group Interesting comment regarding an article in the NIJ journal regarding male suicides rates in cases of domestic violence related deaths: https://obsidianwings.blogs.com/obsidian_wings/2012/04/murder-mystery.html I also recommend you read this post regarded domestic violence homicide. Pt 1 Wrt rates of physical intimate partner violence, women scream more and commit ineffectual physical aggression as much or more, but men cause more injuries and murders: Yes, I mentioned in my last post that obviously that was debatable an that there was discrepancy there. Part of the reason that the physical abuse women engage in is considered "innefectual" is because women are smaller and physically weaker then men on average. But it isn't "innefectual." Yes, women do experience higher rate…

So your complaint is not that women haven’t done anything for male rape victims, it’s that they haven’t done enough, even when men themselves aren’t doing diddly squat for male rape victims besides complaining on the internet. I'm not complaining about men or women. My beef is with modern third wave feminism and false narratives (which most men and women don't subscribe to, but it has still had an effect on our society and culture). When I say false narratives of 3rd wave feminism, this is what …

Pt 2 It's like the idea that people who are harmless are not virtuous simply because they are harmless. Rather, virtuous people are ones that are capable of causing great harm, but consciously refrain from doing so. So just because women don't commit more murders, doesn't mean that they are less aggressive or violent then men by some innate force of nature. Women are generally smaller and physically weaker on average then men. Women also are less likely to own a firearm and other lethal weapons …

As a victim of male on male (child) abuse I've often found the discussion side lined for female on male abuse (not acceptable when I'm talking about my shit) or outright dismissed on some particularly poignant occasions, only then for those same users to crow about caring for male abuse victims. Turns out that women handle doing more taks at once than men and therefore concenteate better than men, and also women are in fact more organized than men From your source: "It is not a myth - women really are better than men at multitasking, at least in certain cases, a study says." The FBI definition of rape was expanded to include male victims thanks to feminist pressure. It was expanded to include male victims of rape by other males, not females. This is also something I struggle with. This is a great response, I especially like that you consider yourself a "humanist" I think the "reproductive rights" issue is incredibly nuanced, and obviously there are men and women that are on both sides. Regarding the "misogyny for a millennia" I think too many people are to quick to paint the "patriarchal structure" in an overly negative light. The reason that we had patriarchy as our main societal structure in the first place is because, for the past thousands of years in human history, i…

There is a difference between generalization and criticism. Redpill doesn't make criticisms of women, it makes broad pseudo-scientific generalizations. If you are wondering what the parallel to that is, then check out the FDS subreddit. If that subreddit seems irrational, bitter, and one-sided, just know that is exactly how women view TRP and men like us who subscribe(d) to it. The one positive that has come out of redpill and other communities for me is seeing that women can actually be pretty …

Regarding 6. I'm pretty sure that I've seen studies that say an overindulgence in sexual promiscuity CAN be linked to a hindered ability to pair bond in men and women, but effects women more often/more intensely due to the more connections between the hemispheres of the brain? I will continue looking for the citation, but I do think there may be some truth to it for both sexes. Depends on which wave/type of feminism you are referring to. Mainstresm feminism is no longer about empowerment and building women up, it is about tearing men down. It has become a part of identity politics, mostly left leaning. Any woman who disagrees with certain views held by these left leaning feminist ideologs are mercilessly attacked. I have seen men's domestic abuse shelters shut down by feminist organizations (men are largely excluded from abuse shelters, despite being at least 40% of do…

Yeah that's weird. I don't necessarily see shit-testing as a purely a "redpill" idea. I've seen plenty of dating coaches who speak out against redpill, but still talk about how people "test" I think both men and women test each other in the beginning stages as a form of qualification before developing an attatchment or jumping into commitment. They just do it in different ways. Most relationship subreddits are pretty garbage though, wouldn't recommend taking any advice on any them

I wasn't meaning to cite the source as 100% accurate or correct, merely that there was alternative data to the "alt-right gateway" theory. Regarding RCT as the most favorable approach for collecting data, that makes sense. One of the reasons I have a general distrust in mainstream academia is because of the amount of studies and data collection that display "omitted variable" biases. I don't think it's black and white. I guess we don't share the same experiences. Regarding the divorce lawyer, I'm sure he had a great grasp on the driving factors for divorce. But the problem is, his expertise is based on his experience with his own clients. Many different divorce lawyers take different angles when marketing their services to clients. So I could just as easily say that his experience is due to him attracting a certain type (or types) of clients that had these tendencies.

Individuals are the ones who should be taking responsibility. We live in a culture where women in particular aren't held accountable. There are more then one study that talk about this. One study that surveyed men and women about initiating divorce found that 75% of the women who initiated divorce did so because of their OWN lack of commitment to the relationship.

The idea that women divorce men more often because of traditional gender roles or because of "patriarchy" is ridiculous and unfounded. Women get divorced because they can with little to no consequence. In fact, in most cases, they largely benefit from divorce as the husband is heavily discriminated against in family/divorce court.
/r/ExRedPill08/09/20 12:00 AM

The vast majority of women who initiate divorces don’t do it in some vain attempt to trade up. They do it because they’re sick of being abused or taken for granted or manipulated or neglected. More often some combination of those. This is ridiculous speculation, but I'm not surprised. We live in a culture where women are never at fault or never have to take accountability for their actions. Some way or another, it's always somehow the man's fault that she cheated on him or divorced him. There is…

It's literally the opposite, lol. By the time a woman breaks up with you, she has already gotten over you, and has already been at least been testing the waters before leaving. This is what redpillers call "monkey-branching" and a large majority of women do it. They spring board from their current relationship they want to get out of, into the next one. Statistically, men are more likely to cheat. So it's not a stretch to say that women are more likely to initiate a divorce. One event naturally would follow the other: man cheats, woman finds out and files for divorce. Couple of problems with this Women aged 18-29 are actually slightly more likely to cheat then men. And the rest of the rates of cheating, women cheat at nearly the same rates as men. Cheating statistics are self reported. Are we really going to take this data as empirical evidence…

I am asking for accountability, consistency, and an end to "selective outrage" you don't get to ignore this because "it's not worth your time" and then choose to get outraged over things that apply to your gender (fatshaming, or a perfect example would be T.I.'s violation of his daughters privacy with the obgyn visits to make sure she's still a virgin). You eithe…

Ah yes, the root cause of every problem ever, capitalism and patriarchy. Lol.

I'm talking about selective outrage, not whether the statement is overall "acceptable" or not.

First One thing I don't understand is why you and others need to see people "speak out against it". I wouldn't ask white boys to speak out against school shooters. I wouldn't ask all muslims to speak out against Muslim terrorists. I wouldn't ask men to apologise and speak out against male rapists. Etc. Jesus christ that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm talking about the double standard, at least in the media. You seemed to conveniently skip over that part, so I will reiterate for you. If a man …

So basically, for men to be valued beyond their capabilities to provide, we have to checks notes give women access to publicly funded childcare and maternity leave?? If anything, the undervaluing of men comes from the absence of fathers in their children's lives. In which case you would want to appeal and defend programs like welfare where women become married to/dependent on the state, and also become stuck in a poverty cycle. Also, women can provide for themselves just fine now. More women are…

"top 5-10% by physical attractiveness" (whatever that means), Studies of dating apps (I believe the main one was tinder) found that there was a huge disparity in matches, where 95% of the women on the app(s) were matching with 5-10% of the men. Everyone loves to say "that's not real life! Not everyone is on dating apps!" But I strongly disagree. Online dating is where people are allowed to be their full selves, no matter how shallow. The decisions made on tinder is almost ENTIRELY on initial sex…

First, she never said why those under 33 year olds were "useless". In past interviews she mentions that “men in their 20s are very confident and cocky, and women are super insecure”. She may not like dudes in their 20s because they find them too "dude bro" cocky types to date. People seem to be hyper focusing on JLo, when again, the emphasis on the post is that these major publications are agreeeing and citing "relationship experts" or the countless women who agreed when the article was posted t…

No, it really isn't. The real issue isn't whether or not JLo is an authority on dating, it's the ridiculous double standard being ignored. Again, if a man said publicly "women are really useless after 30-35" he would be ripped to shreds.

The point wasn't the arbitrary age limit, the point is that many women see men as "useless" dating prospects unless they are financially secure, or are in the top 5-10% of men in terms of physical attractiveness

The real problem is the double standard that is being ignored. Again, if a man said publicly "women are really useless after 30-35" he'd be torn to shreds. Things like this are "too stupid to debunk" until it's attack on your own gender

Her advice was given to the 29 year old on the show. It is very common for younger women aged 18 to 35 to be more attracted to "older men" Which no one seems to have an issue with with. What people do have an issue with is when older men are the ones that want to be in relationships with "younger women"

Because nobody cares enough about what Jennifer Lopez said? That awful has-been actress and the shit coming out of her mouth isn't worth discussing? I guarantee if an actual figure of authority claimed this, and some would, people would actually care enough to debate. Who are you to say JLo isn't a figure of authority to some people? Again, I'll reiterate as well, articles from major news publication, mainstream relationship experts, and every woman I've seen discuss this when it's posted to soc…

I haven't seen a single article speaking out against this. In social media posts regarding this, every single women is either silent, or agrees. So no, it isn't a generalization after a just seeing a few women agree lol Instead of focusing on that, why not respond to the points in the post or the article/statement itself? Isn't discussion the whole point of this sub?

Part 3 You said about women not being able to take your 'raw emotions' but since when you or men listen to women's 'raw emotions'? You and every other men are either foolishly ignorant or blatantly ignore just how much women hide and censor their emotions. You don't want to hear how much women suffer and struggle in day to day basis because men and society still don't see them as human beings. You want women to tell you, "I'm sorry, it must be tough being a man right, you have it soooo hard," bu…

Part 2 So your claim is not fucking true. Women get less sentence because they commit less severe crime and low criminal history. My original source, and the sources above compare case by case basis in which criminal history was similar between the two, and the same crime was committed. You claim court is biased against men and women get punished less for the same crime. Rape is a fucking crime you idiot. If court can be biased towards men when it comes to rape, what makes you think court will b…

Part 2 since my reply was too long Right, and who changed the laws to make sure rape victims and rape definition include men? Feminists. And who hate feminists with such a fury, accused them for ruining everything, for excluding men and should have never existed? Men. What do I know, right? I'm just a woman, I'm always wrong. Go ignore the real statistics and history, live in your redpill lala land and play the little violin louder. This last part I can barely make out because it's incoherent gi…

Wow, this is a really angry reply, especially considering my tone for the most part in my post was neutral, but here we go I guess? Are you implying there's no social stigma around mental illness in women? Because guess which sex gets called crazy for every little weird thing they do and which sex never gets called crazy even after they shoot up the whole school? Ridiculous, men don't go to therapy because they don't want to fucking hear something is wrong with them. Even if they go, they'll arg…

For starters regarding suicide data, your own source says that men had higher levels of suicidal intent then women do. So the rates of attempted to me don't hold as much weight as people who are serious enough about suicide to make sure that it succeeds. Also, not to disregard/invalidate any person's depression regardless of gender, but diagnosis of depression is usually only around 50% accurate (also, the diagnosis of depression is very vague in the first place). Not to mention women are far mo…

Not projecting insecrities, this is still the norm in western culture. Like I said, women like you are far and few inbetween. Men are regarded as disposable and unimportant. Men's mental health issues are shoved aside, even though men commit suicide at 3-4 times the rate Men are purposefully excluded from rape statistics (because to mainstream statistics, "made or coerced to penetrate" doesn't count as rape. Wut) as well as ignored when it comes to domestic violence victims. Men's domestic viole…

Well, women like you seem to be far and few in between. There are legions of women that make claims like this, and end up being exactly what they say they aren't THAT is why men are so apprehensive and are aversive to opening up. Because the risk far outweighs the "rewards" Men are the more disposable sex by far. If men aren't providing something, then we aren't important or of value to women or society, where as women have inherent intrinsic value simply for being women. One of the common trope…

That's the difference though. We are expected to comfort and reassure her when she cries, even if it's over nothing, but if we get angry or visibly upset (god forbid cry infornt of them) it is considered "emotional labor" and they are turned off, and lose attraction and respect. You said it yourself, you have to frame your sharing of emotions in a different way in order for them to listen, be receptive, and for it not to backfire "it's less of a woe is me, and more of a 'this is what's going on.…

Right, different sides of the same coin. It has honestly helped me to see that there are bitter hurt women out there that also cling to toxic belief systems to avoid further hurt. It really helps to see them more as the human beings that they are (seeing as how redpill teaches AWALT, hypergamy, women can't love men the way men want to be loved, and other tropes) rather then some evil opportunistic machines that only exist to hurt and take advantage of me. Empathy is a powerful tool, and has been…

The detox kit and other things along with it in this subreddit really are essential, the more often you read things that are contrary to your toxic red pill belief system and the more times you challenge it, the more you will begin to realize that things aren't as black and white as they seem. Another thing I'd recommend if you are looking for a long term relationship is to stop having casual sex, and to stop putting such a high value on sex (especially on casual sex/sexual conquest) Most people…

If you have read the detox kit, you'd know that one of the problems you are facing is the TYPE of women you are attracting. Who you attract and connect with on a deep level will always be a reflection of who you are on some level or another. Also, 99% of the women you'll meet in bars (as well as 99% of the men), especially at a younger age, are not the type of people you want to get in a long term relationship with, because they are not long term relationship/monogamy oriented. Their main focus …

FDS should get equal/similar treatment. Redpill is quarantined, and so should the FDS subreddit. They are two different sides of the same coin. Their top up-voted posts have nothing to do with "strategy" it has to do with man hating/complaints about the invisible oppressive patriarchy. As an avid reader of this sub, trying to recover from a toxic red pill belief system, my initial reading of the FDS sub and recognizing the over all tone of the community thrust me right back into the red pill wor…
