Ha, this is it. The comment that I needed to push me to leave this community. The bar is in actual hell. Advising women to be taken advantage of, with a man who fucks other women while expecting loyalty. Wow, just chefs kiss. This is why this community has gotten a bad rap from other subreddits. I think the blindfold just lifted from my eyes and I can see now how toxic it’s become here.

I’m with a younger man and having an absolute fantastic time. However, redpill rhetoric says that I should be completely undesirable by any man due to my geriatric age (32), that I’ve hit the wall face first, I am infertile and bitter, not married yet so clearly repulsive, and will inevitably be left for a 25 year old because men always, always prefer younger women. Redpill rhetoric doesn’t translate much to IRL. There are some great concepts here, but a lot of it is very individual and blanket …

Being obsessed with marrying a millionaire also doesn’t appear to fall under RPW ideals. Am I the only one who feels this way? RPW has always been about building a good relationship with a stable partner and having a family. He should be a provider, yes, but he certainly doesn’t need to be a millionaire. If we peer into the lives of the world’s richest men, are they really what the average RPW would want? Just chiming in with this thought and question. Maybe I am out of the loop.

The influx of these types of posts are ridiculous. Where are the actual RPW topics and discussions?? Why is every other post something like “I’m 20 and really afraid to hit the wall!” I’m considering leaving this sub, which used to be a fantastic resource for RPW methodologies. This ain’t it

You've already gotten some good responses on here, but I want to chime in and say that I wasted a year on (what I thought was) a valuable man who had a female best friend that previous ladies allegedly were crazy or insecure about. I now see this as a red flag. Like another commenter said, even if said ex truly was that way, something he did likely made her that way. Your boyfriend is showing you that he doesn't have the right boundaries with other women, doesn't value your feelings, reduces you…

I’m confused, do you think that he thinks your hair look ~not blonde~ when wet? Does he have something against dark hair? Have you asked him why he wants you to dry it or do yall just not speak to each other?

Not to derail, but I’m lol’ing at womanese. Also, I love this advice. Leaning into the forbidden fruit makes it feel less taboo, tempting, and mysterious.

Both of you are adults and do not "need" each other. Neither of you will shrivel up and die if the other one is not around, like a plant without water. Becoming a team means each teammate steps into their role and does the best with what they are tasked. Men are our captains and we are their first mates. It sounds like you trust him with finances (in the event of your death, not in the day-to-day management) and trust him to take care of the kids. Do you trust him to not cheat on you? Imagining …

Do you feel safe with that answer? Or do you wish he would take more of the responsibility on? Do you feel secure that your family will be taken care of if something happened? I think first and foremost you should figure out what you want and need.

I don't think you will be dismissed from this sub. The women here are great and always offer help. This is going to take time, either way. Also, I think it's ok to modify the tactics based on your dynamics. If you would rather do the finances and that works for you both, then don't change it. Do you want to do the finances, or delegate that to him? It takes a lot of trust, and it's scary at first (it was especially for me, growing up hyper-independent). But if rebuilding with him is your goal, i…

Do you want to stay in the marriage? You should ask yourself that, and be honest with yourself. Statistically, many men use porn. But not all, and there are many quality men out there who don’t use it. Find out what your boundaries are for that. Maybe you are someone who’s ok with a bit of porn, but not a full on addiction. Personally, I am not ok with any porn and I was able to find someone who aligned with my views. I saw you said that he does not want to handle the finances, but I would keep …

It seems that you're missing the point. It's not a matter of "be an ideal wife and he will magically transform into everything you need", it's a matter of learning what respect means for yourself and others. Love is respect. When you learn to love and respect yourself, your world begins to change. Maybe he takes notice and begins acting differently (it happens often). Or maybe he still isn't what you need at the end of the day. It's on us to vet and find the right man, and then trust and respect…

Regarding your comment: " I got the book and listened to it. I'll try all this for a while, but I think we are going to run into a big issue because he doesn't want to be the leader in the relationship. He has also said he will never take over the finances. No offense, but this book so far sounds like misogyny with a prettier bow. Never criticize, never give unsolicited advice, never make him feel like you have thoughts and feelings of your own. Let him do things like put the kids at risk, let h…

One woman should be enough for any quality man. What exactly is he “resisting”? Fantasizing about having sex with every attractive woman he sees? That doesn’t sound like something a full-grown, quality man would struggle with. Yes, there are attractive people out there that we all notice in passing, but to go as far as to say he has to fight to want only you? RPW teaches us to value, love, and respect ourselves as well as our partners. This brings us back to my first comment about major flaws. Y…

I don’t think preferences can be changed like that. I’m sure it’s possible that maybe the heavy porn use was skewing his perception of what a female body should look like. Btw, has he quit the porn? If he tells you he doesn’t use it anymore, do you trust/believe him? This far in, you should know if you love each other. I think you need to do some digging and introspection. Are you afraid of leaving the marriage? Why? Do you genuinely believe you won’t find anyone like him, or better? Some things…

I see, thanks for your reply with a little more insight to your dynamics. Personally, I would drive myself crazy if I was in a marriage where I constantly wanted my partner to change, and where they have to prove that they changed. I don’t understand what he needs to change; the fact that he wants a woman who looks totally different than you? How does one change that? In my opinion it seems that neither of you truly want to let this marriage end. What are some of the good things about your marri…

RPW perspective is that breaking up is rarely the first or only option, but I believe that only holds true in cases where both partners do not exhibit a major flaw (addiction, abusive, cheating, etc.) I don’t think any woman should stick around to hold a man’s hand while he sorts out a serious porn addiction. Not when we have choices, have the ability to leave and find someone more suitable, and live in a time where women need to have more respect for ourselves. Porn addiction can destroy a part…

I’ve done a “juice cleanse” from a book aimed at weight-loss through ph balance in the body. It was more like smoothies. I made my own out of veggies (blended up to keep the fiber) and did it for two weeks. No added sugar or sugary fruit or anything. It was heavily focused on veggies and healthy fats (avocado, coconut milk, etc). It was meant to be a reset and not something to do long term. I felt that it did help me reset my gut, body and metabolism. After I completed it, I ate healthier foods …

My thoughts are that you’re in the wrong community if you want to continue with how you’re living life and handling relationships. You’re not acting how a high-value person would act. I think you should find a way to break away from this situation and both men, as others have said, your new guy will not trust or respect you. Leave it. Go nun-mode, work on yourself and this includes therapy to get to the root of the problems. Ask yourself why you’re in this scenario to begin with, because it’s no…

Unfortunately it sounds like he’s addicted to porn and it will not stop unless he wants to. I subscribe to Doyle’s way of life too, and I’m not sure where I heard the quote, but I heard once that a good man isn’t an addict, a liar, a cheater, or an abuser. Right now your husband is addicted to porn, lying to you (”It’s going great…”), and porn lights up men’s brains in a way sex does so I consider it cheating. I really am not sure what kind of advice to give you, but I want you to know that ther…

I don’t have much to contribute as I am not married yet (which will hopefully be changing soon!), but I just wanted to say thank you for posting this and prompting this advice from married RP women. I feel a lot of confusion around what I’m supposed / not supposed to do, to inspire marriage but also not become a doormat. You need a bit more self confidence, love. This was becoming an unhealthy dynamic. “How many people have you kissed, and what are their names?” Is something a teen would ask. And no respectful/respectable man will tell you, ‘you’re gross, get the fuck out’ and act as if you cheated on him by daring to be involved with other men before you were even together. Gross behavior on his end. You will be okay and you will find a better man. Vet better in the future to avoid attaching yourself to someone…

I know you’re asking for specific advice here and this might not be very RPW but this does not sound like a happy marriage (well, maybe it is for him since he has a wife he never bothered to put in any amount of effort towards, let alone buy a f*cking ring for)… He sounds unwaveringly selfish. And the fact that he is apathetic about your rough childhood leaving trauma around sexuality/defends your parents and sucks up to them speaks volumes. I would seriously consider the option of leaving in th…

I’m not sure why no one else commented this, but this sounds like an abusive relationship to me 1000%. Especially the driving drunk part, the regular panic attacks, isolating you from everyone but your mom, and saying harsh things only to “not remember.” Is your relationship over? If not, I really think you need to move on and eventually find someone else much better. I don’t care if that doesn’t sound very RPW, your safety and happiness comes first, full stop. This man sounds unhinged. To answe…

I hope it works out for you!! Like I said I know of two couples that this worked out for. The first one, they broke up for I think two months and they have now been together for 10 years since then and have two kids. The second one, they broke up for a few days and they’re now engaged. It’s possible and I think everyone commenting that it won’t work out, aren’t necessarily correct. In my situation it didn’t work out. It’s not always black& white

IMO, it does not matter that this is happening with someone ‘more accessible’. Is he liking and commenting on the videos? Messaging her? Or otherwise displaying any other behaviors that indicate he would like to meet up with this influencer in real life? He doesn’t sound like a cheater to me. But only you would really know. And us women know deep down when we are being cheated on, because it’s built into our intuition. So how do you feel about that? Also, I feel that approaching it in the way I …

Was this found truly because you were interested in seeing what his online interests are, or were you subconsciously looking for trouble to self-sabotage a good relationship or possibly because you felt something was up? A few things concern me: - He quit porn for you, which I’ve rarely seen work out in the long run - It feels personal because this influencer lives in your city - It appears like you’re questioning this because you and the woman in the videos have different body types A few thing…

I dated someone for 3 years who was severely addicted to porn. He saw no problem with it, and made me out to be controlling and toxic for not wanting porn around me. He was, hands down, the worst partner I’ve ever been with. He spoke about women with vulgarity and genuinely seemed to believe women are all promiscuous and only useful for sexual purposes. He even once told me, “All women are cheating whores.” He told me once that he interviewed a woman for a position he oversaw at work, went home …

“How do I not be jealous about my boyfriend talking to other women when we go out?” … No offense, but what do you actually want us to say? There is no magic cure to getting over your partner disrespecting you, to the point where even a child can recognize and point it out. There is no “addressing your insecurities, communicating, finding a common ground” for blatant disrespect. And you know it’s blatant disrespect. I’ve been there, and we all have. Absolutely no, who/what gave you that idea? As far as I know, high value men desire women within a few years of their own age, maybe a year or two younger. You shouldn’t lower your standards to feel more loveable or desirable.

This is exactly how I thought maybe it was like for men but I really don’t see a lot of men openly talking about certain things (such as the attention / loneliness thing, and financial pressure) I was wondering if you can elaborate more on the getting harassed more portion? As someone who experienced firsthand the cycle of having bad relationships with men, hating them, finding something that validated my hatred towards them, feeling justified, having more bad relationships with men, wondering why, hating them even more… I got past the hatred towards men and changed my mind on a lot of things. FDS played its part in that. Being subjected to the toxicity on there didn’t make me toxic, in fact it made me realize a lot of men probably feel very hated by a lot of women…

I recently found this sub and have been reading a lot on here to get a better understanding of how life is for men. I’ve followed the FDS sub for a while, and have been able to cherry pick a lot of good information / advice from it. I did have to use discernment to filter out what seemed toxic and hateful. The sub overall helped me look at myself and why I was attracting men into my life who were hurting me. Not that it’s owed all to that sub, but I’m in the healthiest and most amazing relations…
