That depends on the particular man or woman being rejected and the circumstances of that rejection. The reactions people have to rejection within both genders varies so much that it can't be boiled down to men or women in general feel more pain during rejection

I think the "Enforcers" in this case are men who criticize/mock other men based in their masculinity. A lot of people do this to a certain extent by doing things like making homophobic remarks or criticizing something a guy is into for being "too girly" These men are trying to get those men to adhere to a certain standard of masculinity, and so they are "enforcers"
