| -1 | PerfectI would say the one with black skin would on average have a harder time, largely due to inherent biases we all have (we tend to like people that are similar to ourselves). The majority of people interviewing are most likely white (because whites are the majority of the country), so they're probably more likely to hire people that are like them. I definitely miss the type system of languages like Swift and Scala, but Typescript and Flow let you get somewhere close to that, and can be learned at another time. There is some obvious poor choices that javascript made (like all numbers being floating point), but you can generally work around those.
